2 days at HS or AK?

We are going 8/13-8/20. We have our first full day doing EMM at HS and then hitting ToT and RnRc at RD. Then that day is MK EMH til 11pm so we’re gonna head there after HS and a possible resort break. Next day is a full day at MK, then AK, then EP, then no park day, then we have an open day before departure day. Wondering if we should do another day at HS or AK...or we could hop and do both. My question is should I do FP+ for HS or AK for that day? I’m thinking we may get a lot done at HS for EMM and we may not need to do FP+ for a second day. Original plan was to do dinner at H&V with fantasmic viewing but now I don’t think we need a whole second day at HS.

If you want to do F! Then maybe go to ak in the morning using rope drop to get on rides, then hop to hs and use you fp there.

Animal Kingdom...definitely more to do and see. Just make sure you hit HS for rope drop (meaning, be there at least 45 minutes before the park opens) and have your FP+ scheduled there and you won't need another day in that park.

My vote is AK too.
You’re sure about that first day though? Seems very long.
And so many park days in a row also seems a bit exhausting.

Well that first day will have a break between EMM at HS and a late night at MK. We are park people so we are used to being at the parks everyday. Only our first 2 days are long days the rest are mornings in the parks and evenings at the resort. Right now I’m leaning toward AK rope drop for that day with using FP+ to do FOP hopefully again and then leaving there and doing dinner and F! At HS that night. That will be our final full day before departure.
