2 days at Epcot or HS?

Going in July - kids are 7 and 3. Trying to decide if I should grab 2 passes for HS because of the whole boarding pass situation OR do Epcot because of Food & Wine. Thoughts?

I’ll be honest, Epcot has always been my favorite park, but it is kind of trashed right now with construction. Former Future World is just a maze of walls and it takes forever to get from one attraction to another.

If it were me, I would do 2 days at HS. I’m not even sure we will return to Epcot until the construction is done. At the most it will be a one day park for us. And I used to love that park.

With kids that little I would probably do 2 days at HS and have PHs to enjoy some F&W booths in the evening. That's what I did a couple of weeks ago when I was there, I spent part of every single day at Epcot enjoying F&G booths. If you don't have hoppers, then HS is still probably going to be the best bet for the kids, you can take a break mid-afternoon for some pool time on one or both of the days.

It’s sounds like you already have one day planned each at EP and HS and have one more day available to pick either EP or HS. Is that correct?

With the younger kids I’d definitely do 2 HS over 2 EP right now. There are many more interesting rides and things to do for your party at HS. 2 full days at EP is kinda overkill right now unless you really want to explore every nook and cranny of World Showcase.

The problem with HS is that everything has an impossibly long line at the moment. It used to be I could go into HS, do my 3 FPs and then pick a 4th and perhaps do a few of the show things. Now you pick a ride you want to try, spend up to two hours in line for it and then maybe do one more before you give up for the day. At least at Epcot there are plenty of places you can go in World Showcase that have no lines.

Thanks, everyone! We will be at Beach Club so I want to make the most of my location to those 2 parks. Sounds like most of you vote for HS, but I am concerned about wait times. I may be the least patient in my family. ;-)

Epcot is my favorite park, espduring food and wine but with the ages of your kids and the construction at EPCOT right now I would pick HS.

For us it would be 2 days at Epcot. My DD's favourite park since she's been able to choose has been Epcot.

HS has been crowded enough that by late morning all the lines are long and tend to stay that way.
If you have park hoppers, you could do 1 full day at HS, and 1/2 day at HS and then head to EPCOT.

Yeah park hoppers work great from Beach Club or Boardwalk! Our next trip is 6 park days and even tho we love Epcot we didn’t reserve a day. Plan on hopping over 3 days instead. That’s basically what we did last trip too.
