2 day base ticket

I was just wondering.. if i buy the 2 day base ticket and first go to universal, if I don't like the park or want to switch over to islands of adventure, is this possible to do on the same day? i don't want to get a park hopper as I don't plan on switching parks, but out of curiousity if I do want to switch can I just use the 2 day on the same day? Basically punch the ticket out twice on the same day

No. You would have to upgrade your ticket to a park hopper. No different at Disney or most other parks.

Less paper waste and convenience...you don't get a separate ticket for each day. Can you imagine how many tickets you'd have to keep up with if you were staying for a week?

Yea... I just wanted to go to universal for dispicable me. Not sure if any other rides would interest me so wondered if I could just switch over to ioa if I got bored. But also want flexibility if I dont get bored and go to ioa another day

That's a lot of money for one ride. DM is fun but I don't think I would pay the ticket prices for it. You should wait until Transformers opens so at least there would be something else there you might be interested in doing.

There is a premium to be paid, if you wish to park hop....just like Disney!
