During my DH's time in Iraq he encountered many Iraqi's with differing opinions from those bloggers but kuddos to those bloggers for being able to voice there opinion...would not have happened in 2001.

During my DH's time in Iraq he encountered many Iraqi's with differing opinions from those bloggers but kuddos to those bloggers for being able to voice there opinion...would not have happened in 2001.

There are some pretty varied opinions in those blogs.. If you will note Neurotic wife was talking about her fears if the US military leaves,and the fear that some of her friends share about the same thing. I'm from a Military family..I'm a medically retired Marine myself and know people over there or that have been ther..Yes,the opinions of Iraqi's vary.

Big, sad, can of worms we have opened over there. I hope we can fix it, but I doubt it.

So sad. It is hard for me to sit in my safe home here in Kansas and imagine what it would be like to feel so unsafe. That is so far from my reality here at home.

I wonder if there is anything that can make it better for them. I don't usually feel like any situation is hopeless, but this one is about as close to hopeless as I have seen in my lifetime.
