2 Bedroom Villa vs. 2 Bedroom Lock Off Villa

Planning a trip with my family of 4 and my parents, so we will be six in total. We have never stayed in a 2 bedroom villa before, so I am looking for some information. Does the term "Lock-Off" mean that there are 2 separate entrances from the main hallway into the villa and that there is a door on the inside in between the 1-bedroom villa and deluxe studio? While a regular 2 bedroom villa just adds the second bedroom but you only have one entrance from the main hallway? We are planning on going for 7 nights 6/27/14-7/4/14 and our home resort is BLT. How difficult will it be to get the 2 bedroom lock off villa at BLT right at the 11 month window? If we decided to stay at BCV or SSR, how difficult would it be to get a 2 bedroom lock off villa at either of these resorts at the 7 month window?

You have correctly described a lock-off and a dedicated. You should have no problem getting either at 11 months out but if you want standard view at BLT make sure you reserve exactly 11 months out because those can go fast. SSR will be open at 7 months out, BCV possibly but risk it could be full because it is holiday time.

Yes, 2nd entry and a kickoff also has seperate thermostats, the kitchenette in the studio (w/2nd coffee pot) but the studio also has 1 queen and 1 pullout couch.
Usually a dedicated has 2 queen beds (but there are some BCV dedicated w/o the 2 queens, that's why BCV has 3 2BR categories)

BCV should be very very difficult at 7mo due to the categories and its a smaller resort than BLT or SSR.
SSR should be OK at 7mo.

BLT should be OK at 11mo. July 3 and 4 are very difficult at 7mo, but you are booking at 11, and checking in several days earlier.
