2 bedroom at BWV or BCV

we are thinking of booking 1 or 2 2-bedrooms at BWV or BCV. we are trying to organize a large family trip. we would like to go presidents week in Feb 2004. does anyone know if these sell out quickly? what are the chances of me getting 2 2-bedrooms, and renting the points from other dvc members? will they have to make the res for me? we just got back from bwv presidents week, and had such a great time we want to bring more people with us next year!

If you are not a DVC member yourself, the member you rent the points from will have to make the ressies for you. If you are a member, you have the option of having the points transferred to your account. Then you can make the ressie and have total control over it yourself.

If you are looking for standard view rooms, the sooner you reserve them the better. They go very fast. The standard view rooms are often gone within a week or less after the 11 month window opens. President's Week is reasonably popular, but there should still be some availability for preferred view rooms (more points than standard) at the 7th month window. However, my advice is to try to find a BWV owner and get the rooms booked before the 7 month window opens. That will significantly reduce the chances of having to use the waitlist. (Waitlists are not good if you are renting. Most owners who rent don't like to pass up a "sure thing" in favor of a a waitlist /"maybe thing").

Nice to hear you had a good time at BWV. It's our home resort and we just love it, too!

You can post your request for points over on the Rent/Trade Forum. IMHO, it's never too early to start planning the next trip and difinitely not too early to start looking for points. The 11 month window is about to open!
