I am looking at a few different sites and trying to figure out which rooms to put on my request. Is it better to stay near the end at the exit to the walking path, or doesn't matter because we need to be near the elevators? Is it better to have the pool view, or the EPCOT view? I see a few rooms that say they have a Spacechip earth and Illuminations view, but is it that great a view? I feel like I am at the beach and I want to see the pool from my room lol. Help me out! I have 2 elderly on ECV so really staying next to the elevator is probably better for us.

Oh, and which rooms have those crazy large balconies?? That would be nice too

I've had the Spaceship Earth View, and several times,, although the view of SE was great, the road noise when sitting on the balcony was too distracting. I much prefer the pool view, especially because, if I can see the canal beyond, I can watch the soft shell turtles and the birds. The disadvantage is that you don't see Epcot, or Illuminations, so you don't get as much of the "park" feel that you do staying on the "other side". For me, though, the pool view is my favorite.
Epcot view-

Pool view-

You choose.

Pool view, close to elevator doesn't matter if riding an ECV. Epcot view is above Epcot Resorts Blvd, I wouldn't want that location.

THank you for the photo! All the sites that have photos with an "Epcot" view do not in fact show Epcot but just trees.

It really is mostly just trees. I do not really care for that side and the road noise and we've gotten that 50% of our stays. Never gotten the pool view request. I do agree that it doesn't matter much where you are since there are ECV's that make the distance to the elevators less important.
