If there are only two of us for dinner at Ohana's are there tables for 2 or will they put us with other people? If they only have a few tables for 2 would we have to wait longer or will they put us, for example, at a table for 4 even though 2 seats will go empty?

Thanks.

I figured it would be weird for them to do that since we don't have that issue at any other WDW restaurant but it seemed like they have HUGE tables and groups at O'hana.

They have tables just like any other restaurants - lots of different sizes. There were tons of parties of 2 when I went last.

We have been 4 times as a party of 2 and only twice were we actually at a table 'designed for two'. The other times we are at a table for 4 (but of course w/ just 2 of us sitting there).

One tip if you find something you LOVE or know you are gonna love you might want to ask your server up front for the larger serving b/c they are of coursed sized down for parties of 2. For example my DH can slurp down the bread pudding stuff (his favorites) for desert that they bring for 2 before I can even get my spoon near it. So I have learned to ask for a 3 portion serving and it saves the server a trip and I get some dessert too!

Hi Rhonna,
My husband and I ate there last year and we had our own small table. You will not have to share a table with anyone. I also wanted to say how great O'hana's is. If you have never been you are in for a great experience. Have a wonderful time. :thumbsup2

We ate at O'Hana this summer and the food and ambience were really great. Just the two of us we had a table for two by the window overlooking the lagoon.
Their appetizers are delicious and plentiful, we had dumplings, chicken wings, bread, a salad and noodles...all before the meat courses started arriving. I was so full with the appetizers I could barely do justice to the steak, turkey, pork and shrimp....

Desert was also great....always can find room for desert.

Next time we go (In November) we're going to eat very light during the day before our dinner reservation...lots of food, served in a delightful atmosphere.

We've had dinner there 4 times and NEVER had to share a table.

We've stayed twice at the Poly. The first time was in 1983 or '84. I don't remember if O'hana was there then? (There were only two parks - lol! MK and Epcot) The area that is now Kona Cafe was white and greens, very different from the dark wood it has now. We did the luau and ate at the cafe.

We stayed again, more recently at the Poly, but we didn't eat at O'hana - it seemed like a mad house! Anyhow, we are not staying at the Poly this time but decided to try some different restaurants. So we'll see how it goes.

We are only going to be in MK for Wishes once this trip so we will eat at O'hana and watch Wishes from the beach - for a second viewing. We can't see it from our resort - we're staying (second time) at AKL.

The pulled pork sounds good to me and the sweet Hawaiian bread sold my sister on going there.
