I will be me, Dh and DSD3. What is my cheapest method to get from MCO to All Star Sports?

Is it worth the extra money to get a town car with grocery stop or Mears and pack some groceries?

With a town car - 2 adults and 1 child w/3 pieces of luggage - how much would you recommend as tip each way?

Do you tip the Mears drivers? and if so how much?

If you recommend a town car - which one is the cheapest w/grocery stop?

Sorry for all the questions......Just trying to come up with a transportation budget.

Thank you!

We did exactly this same thing last Nov. Two adults and a 3 year old.

We took to the town car and found that with our large suitcases and carry ons the stroller didn't fit very well. (granted we always over pack!) Our stroller is the travel system one so it was quite large. So we were crammed all in the back seat. We did request a booster seat for teh 3 yo, however, it wasn't a very good one and the driver knew less about installing it than we did. We also didn't stop for food (was in the oversized suitcases).
If I were doing it again, I would take Mears and let them fight with the luggage.

Good luck planning!

we rent a car (national or alamo) and can do all the stopping we want a long the way... later that night, on our way to dinner we just drop it off at the dolphin w/the valet parker and grab disney transport to wherever we are headed next... only have to deal w/our luggage once, stop at the store along the way plus we visit nearby relatives for an hour or two... works out well for us...

with codes and such, depending on the size car, you can get a good deal... cheaper oftentimes than mears or other limo/car service... right now for our august trip a midsize is only about $30! :o)

I never even thought about renting a car! That sounds like a great alternative.
Is there a car rental place at the Dolphin for the trip back to the airport?

Can you give me a little more info on that? What agency does that? Is the pick up at the airport? and they don't mind you dropping off at the Dolphin location?

GET A TOWN CAR!!! We did it over Easter and DH who was skeptical said he wouldn't do it any other way! There was no stress involved at all!!!!

Kudos to FL TOURS!

we've never rented on the return trip to mco simply 'cause we don't want the "at the airport" hassle... so we've used a taxi instead...
both national and alamo rent at mco and can be dropped off at the dolphin... the car care center is also a dropoff point...
