Ok, I'm going for a short trip early May, I found a place where I can get old
two and three day Hoppers, if I buy these, will I have to make up any $$$ difference against the new My Way tickets?

Also I have an old six day hopper from 2000 or 2001 that still has one day left on it, can I use that for one day as it is, or will I have pay a price difference?

We are arriving about 7pm Monday night and leaving Friday morning, so we only have 3 days to do the parks, the new tickets don't offer much of a break just for 3 days and I'm not even sure if I'll need the hopping option, but it would be nice to have just in case, so I'm really hoping I can buy and use the 3-Day Hopper I found.

yes - you can use your old tickets - they never expire and disney can't change that option now since when they were sold - it was with the stipulation that they would never expire

No you won't.

It can be used as is.

You will have to go to Guest Services at one of the theme parks and trade that old hopper pass in for a new style of ticket. There will be no charge for the trade. It's just that the old ticket will not be usable at the turn-style.

Just wanted you to know that before you got in line and found out the hard way.

The OP's tickets from 2000 will work just fine in the turnstiles as is. No exchanging is required. Only tickets prior to 1996 need to be exchanged at Guest Relations for the current magnetic strip ones. All tickets since 1996 have the magnetic strip and can be used as is.
