Sea Days:

Sunday and Monday are our sea days. We spent these two days in mostly the same way. After breakfast usually a walk/run around deck 4. Monday the guys had their hot stone massages. They said it was great. My friend even booked for another on Thursday. While the guys were at the spa, the girls watched the kids in the pool and gameroom. The kids weren't in the club very much. Just for a few select activities. They really just wanted to be in the pool.

Formal night - The guys had rented tuxes and we brought our gowns for formal night. I must say that this was the least formal night I've seen on any of our previous cruises. There weren't many tuxes, at least not in our dining room (Lumiere's). Dinner was great, again.

Before dinner we went to see The Golden Mickey's. This was the only new show for us, this being our 3rd Disney cruise. We really enjoyed it. The kids loved it, lots of different characters from different Disney movies. We also went to the Family Cabaret, where my friend was picked to be in the show by Dave and Chucky. He and a few others did a funny rendition of Old MacDonald's Farm. If it were'nt for my friend getting picked, I'd have to think the show was staged. Do you believe how many people really don't know the words to that song??? Went back for the adult version of the show, and again some of the people didn't know the song. It was hysterical!!!

Monday - we had our Palo brunch which was awesome. Sasha from Croatia was our server. He is fabulous. He has been with the Magic for seven years. He left the ship the day we disembarked because his wife was back home having twins. He said he'd be back again in April. We hadn't booked dinner at Palo, but after the brunch we just couldn't resist. We were put on the waiting list for an opening.

After brunch, my friend and I went to the wine tasting while the husbands got the kids. We had a great time sampling different wines and learning about them. Then, off to the spa for a facial. (Quite the day...brunch, wine, spa can it get any better???) I loved the facial, didn't mind the sales pitch because I do use some of their products. Just bought what I needed and said "no thank you" to the rest.

Dinner was in Animator's, always my favorite. I love it when the walls come to life! Early to bed, St. Maarten in the morning!

We had Sasha on our last cruise. I'm glad to hear he's headed home. He was very excited about seeing his family (and the soon to be additions!).

He was excited to be getting home. He said that when he returns in April, that it might be his last contract. It must be hard being away from your family for such long periods of time.

We sat in the back of the room watching that! We were just as amazed that the two women on the left, no matter how many hints you threw at them, they just didn't get it!

As for the show, I thought the Dave and Chucky's Bon Voyage show on the first night was MUCH funnier. Other than the "Old McDonald" bit, we didn't enjoy it at all in the Cabaret. And I had dragged my DW to the Cabaret show to see Dave and Chucky since she had missed the Bon Voyage show. She now thinks I have no comedic taste...

We had also seen him on a previous cruise. I guess that's his only bit. If it weren't for my friend (the rooster) being in the show, it would have been a bust! My friend has a knack of getting picked for these cruise shows. 2 years ago, he was the construction worker in YMCA on 80's night. We kind of set him up to be picked for that one!
