2/15/2013 - 8 Night Western Cruise, Galveston, TX

Do those that said they are having lunch at Be Our Guest have reservations? I tried to get reservations a couple of weeks ago, but couldn't get any. :sad1:

Be Our Guest Restaurant does not take reservations for lunch. It offers reservations only for dinner, which I believe starts at 4:30 PM.

Wdrl - omg!!!!! Thank you for all the awesome info!!!! My girls would LOVE to be in the Belle show (my oldest was a dwarf on our last cruise) so we'll definitely hit that first! :-)

I've seen the lunch menu and I've been dying to try the quiche. It looks delicious and the prices seem very reasonable. Hoping it stays that way until February!!

I'm pretty sure lunch is quick service do there aren't any reservations. Dinner requires them, though.

I think I posted this on the FB page but wanted to post it here too. Does anyone know when they say first bus for Epcot is 6:30 does that mean it leaves at 6:30 (meaning you have to be down there probably 30 min before 6:30) or does it mean they start gathering for the bus at 6:30. Trying to figure out how early we will have to get up. I'm second guessing picking the 6:30 bus.

Stopping by to say hello!

We just this past week changed our reservations from a spring break cruise in March to this cruise after hearing about the kids sail free option. We were on the week long cruise in March, but with the changes Disney made, it went to a four day cruise, and we really didn't want that. We were planning to cancel, but hadn't done it yet, and then we found out about this one. We're in Oklahoma, so our kids aren't out all of president's week, but they do have two days out, so will only miss four days of school for this trip. This will be the fourth cruise for my kids (only 2 are going, the third is in his first year of college), and my husband's and my sixth - we are GOLD members finally! :) Our kids are a boy age 16 and a girl age 10.

Another 16 year old boy! My son will be totally happy!! He'll be turning 17 the day after the cruise ends. I wonder if they'd want to chat ahead of time, or if that's just a girl thing?? Lol

Looks like our WDW plan is the same as a lot of you -- Start out at Epcot (We both want to ride the new Test Track, we *have* to ride Soarin', and I have to ride Mission: Space at least a few times :goodvibes ) and then spend the rest of the time at MK. It's going to be hard to do the whole day with no go-back-and-rest-at-Pop for me, but it's just one day so I'm going to do my best!

As far as Key West goes, that whole stop is a waste of a good sea day to me... and that's how I treat it -- as a sea day. Nice mostly-empty ship for a few hours, and port-day specials at the spa. :thumbsup2

73 more days!!

For all excursions I have been on the time given is the time the bus leaves (and you have to gather earlier). I can't tell you for sure it will in this case, but that is what I am planning on.

We are definately going to have to plan ahead for how we're going to eat etc. We may just have to grab breakfast once we get there leaving that early. I'm going to plan on being down to disembark no later than 6:15, so we'll probably have to get up around 5. That does seem early for vacation, but the next day is a sea day so we can sleep in! We don't want to miss a minute at WDW. The kids probably won't make it until park close so we'll head back to the ship once they are sleepy.

Hadn't been on in a while and it looks like we're late for FE. Was a 3rd group started? Still haven't cleared it with my wife but if there is a 3rd group I can find out right away. If not that's OK.

Anyhow I have put in a request to join the group on FB. On our last cruise with a FB page we had well over 100. The lady in charge added a document of everyone willing to share info with names, disboard name, room #, kids names and ages. Very useful and also a document for FE. I know, lots of work.

To Dawncala-have children the same ages. My 12 yr old son (just a month older than yours) and my 14 yr old son who will actually be 14 on the 16th.

Lookiing forward to meeting you all and I'll most be checking in on FB...

Hopefully any info on the FB page will be updated here as well... I love FB, but can only access it via my phone at breaks during the week at work, and am usually too busy at home to keep up with FB groups and such. But I can DIS all day while I'm waiting for reports to spool and whatnot! :)

FSU88 (Jeff) and Kreedham, let me know if you would like to do the FEE. If so, I will get a 3rd group started and will also exchange with you. How about you dgmommie? Would you like to be in the FEE. I can’t wait until we reach Gold status. :cool1:

Anyone else lurking that would like to join the 3rd FEE group?

We are in for any FEE group, just let me know. Anxious to bring some local gifts from NW Ohio.

I spoke to the family, and we opted out of the super early bus headed to EPCOT. We are going to get up and grab food onboard then catch the 8:15 bus.
Jeff

Wow, I haven't checked out this thread for a while, I have alot to catch up on!!

We are planning on Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios for our WDW day, booked the 7:45 bus. The kids are very excited!

Can't believe we are under 75 days - it will be here before we know it! :cool1:

port-day specials at the spa. :thumbsup2

Tell me more...

This is our first cruise and I would love to treat myself to a spa treatment but felt like it was too much. A discount would put me over the edge and I can easily miss Key West.

A 3rd FEE group has been set up. If anyone would like to join it, please let me know.

Jeff- I sent you a PM, but just realized that you need a few more posts to be able to PM. Can you please email me the following information to beth@sitesandsounds.com: your cabin number, family last name, T-Shirt sizes, email address that you use for Google, and any allergies.

Thanks,
Beth

Usually they offer something like the "Spa Taster Special," where you can choose 3 services such as eye treatment, European facial, neck & shoulder massage, foot & ankle massage, etc., for $99. Great deal!! I think you can also do 5/$119, which is really really great. I love it, it's the only way I can justify going to the spa! :)

Jeff - I did not get your email. Can you please try it again.

Thanks,
Beth

Got it now Jeff, Thanks!

Hi Beth!
Please add us to the 3rd FE group!
Thank you,
