As a first time cruiser, what are the cruise docs I should be expecting?

It's a booklet with your luggage tags, lists of anything you booked thru DCL, and general info about the cruise. It has a checklist of things you need to do before you leave, little cards to give home contacts in case of emergency, stuff like that...

I'll be wearing a lime green boa (it's actually a fuzzy scarf) boarding day, and at the cruise meet. It's been a tradition since our first cruise meet when we all wore something lime green for the DIS so we would know each other.

I agree. My days are all a blur bc I'm so busy yet the days just never seem to end

I think we will close on jan 21st. As most of you know I am doing a b2b and I'm leaving my home state feb 5th. I figure this will give everyone a few more weeks to join and give everyone a few weeks to get everything together. I hope everyone has a great day

You are doing exactly what we are doing in terms of dates for the flights.
We fly from Buffalo to FLL on the 10th and stay 3 extra nights after in Fort Lauderdale, flying back on the 19th.
I found the prices in Miami very expensive and decided to stay in Fort Lauderdade after the cruise.
We got a room at the Holiday Inn Plantation through Hotwire for 100.00 a night plus taxes.
