Well, here I am already! 2,000 posts!! This means I have made over 100 posts today... Erk!!!

I wanted to celebrate with y'all because of all the friends I have made on the DLRP board!!

That's a huge number of posts - just don't keep that rate up - even Reid doesn't post that many in a day!

Well done though; it's a shame the DIS rankings don't go higher than DIS Veteran at 500.

Once I get back to uni I won't be posting at this rate... My post count directly relates to my lack of employment.... Theres not a lot of student jobs around here....

Plus, I can claim it is research as I'm doing my dissertation on Animated Film...

Once I get back to uni I won't be posting at this rate... My post count directly relates to my lack of employment.... Theres not a lot of student jobs around here....

Plus, I can claim it is research as I'm doing my dissertation on Animated Film...

I go to Northumbria, and I'm doing a BA Hons. Media, Culture and Society. It's basically a mix of Media Studies, Sociology, Cultural Studies and Politics (Although I didn't know about the Politics when I started the degree.....)... I'm doing a module in Animated Film next year so I've chosen to base my dissertation around that!

I know someone who did that course a few years ago, really enjoyed it!! Dissertations are a knightmare - I had to two because I went postgrad afterwards!! Its all worth it in the end though!

I loved it until they introduced loads of politics into the course... Nobody on my course has any qualifications in politics, and they just added loads in because the politics department had a strop and wanted to take over our degree.....Now I'm sad to say I don't really enjoy my degree that much anymore... I should enjoy it more this year because it's all media based....

I didnt enjoy aspects of mine either, but I just really concentrated on the bits I liked (I did town planning - very random I know) and tried to get the most out of those to make up for it!

I'm just annoyed that I've wound up paying 3k a year for a degree I haven't really enjoyed that much.....

I suppose focusing on the good bits makes it worthwhile though!
