Disney is 25% offOoh like where???

Disney is 25% offOoh like where???
It says 31 days for me, too. We are going three weeks from tomorrow and am not prepared at all. We have out of towners coming in tomorrow but have Thanksgiving weekend to pack everything up. Due to the fact that we are remodeling and don't have a kitchen right now we will be eating Thanksgiving at my sister's place. That is a big break for me since we normally host it.
My husband asked me this morning what he should pack for Disney and I told him that he wouldn't know until three days out. I just said that so that I don't have to think about it.
I hope that Disney honors the discounts. What a mess.
Hugs for @Talby I hope everything works out for you.
I spent some time this morning working on our arrival day plans. I wanted to make note in my MDE account of all the fireworks and shows we wanted to see that day. And I was able to move Soarin' to a better time, too.
So here is the arrival day plan, Dec 3rd - Saturday - We have to wake up at 3am for our early flight. Our flight lands at 9:35am - We hope to check into GF sometime around 11;00 to 11;30am. Then we plan to hang around, explore, eat, take a nap - this is required since we skipped the nap last trip and DH was wiped out by 8:30pm. We hope it is warm enough to go swimming - or just lay by the pool, in the sun, away from Midwest winter cold.
Around 4pm we will be entering Epcot and riding Soarin'. Then we will catch the British Revolution at 5:05pm, either eating something at Epcot or walk to the Crews Cup Lounge at YC to eat some dinner. Then we are walking to Hollywood Studios to catch the jbjm show.Very excited.
ETA: If we have enough energy then I want to try to catch Once Upon a Time at MK at 10:45pm. That is why the nap is required.![]()
Everything seems sorted. Miscommunication between Disney and the Cruise travel folks
Someone must have had a fire lit under their @ss because now they're being extra helpful. DH will pick up his ticket at HS on our first park day and then hopefully I can still score him some FP+ that align with mine for our last MK day (we got his other park days covered with air miles). It seems our hotel reservation will be fine. I'm taking deep breaths with 3 weeks to go. I'm only working one more day with my client next week (glad, because they are starting to wear on me a bit) and I've passed my contract on to a colleague and will still get a referral bonus so that's really great!
Also looks like one of my certifications I've been working on will get done before the trip so that's a nice thing to have completed under my belt before I leave.
I intend to FULLY enjoy this work free weekend (my first in a bit) and we will hit the dollar store for envelopes, Disney stickers (so DD can help me decorate the envelopes), ziplock bags, glow sticks!

Yayyy! I am so happy everything got worked out for you! Enjoy your well-deserved weekend off!
@Talby totally agree on this being the best group of people ever! And agreed also on being more excited than ever for Disney! Earlier today I had one of those moments, when I was thinking about the trip, and got that super warm, fuzzy, happy, giddy feeling! It was awesome!
It's new this year, so don't feel too badlySome how I missed this. But I didn't realize there was more than one type of cookie and drink during the MVMCP. I'm going to have to eat noting but water and lettuce for the next three weeks. Seriously how did I miss that.
Man, I just checked out the roll call list on page one....DisneyBelle and I are the last two out...we are going to be pretty lonely at the end consoling each other while you all are living it up. Enjoy the 12/3 jibjab party...raise a glass to us!

What r your dates again? I think quite a few of us extend until dec10-12.Man, I just checked out the roll call list on page one....DisneyBelle and I are the last two out...we are going to be pretty lonely at the end consoling each other while you all are living it up. trying to catch up after an internet hiatus. . .I was going to make them for everyone going on 12/3!!! I bought the lanyards and some other items to put them together, but need to create the actual namecards. I know we have a 12/3 list going so I'll need help finding that when I'm ready.

Poor kiddo--mine has the same concern about segregation! And he thought Mexico would declare war on the US after a wall is built.Rough day for me too. I was up too late, kiddo was up at 5:30am and when he heard the results was sobbing that "hate won" and worried that segregation would come back. Long difficult conversation with him this morning, I am exhausted and the day has not even started. I wish I had the time to take off today, I want to crawl in bed and not come out again.
@SilSprBea so sweet of you to think of me! I feel all warm and fuzzy now!@PlutosUnDr8d there is a BOG on 12/6 for 4 at 9pm available now. It's later than you want so I didn't grab it but letting you know.
@Lisa F , those are awesome necklaces! This is super sweet! kiddo and I were going to bring a load of glow something, maybe bracelets. he wants to give stuff out and make new friends (also for the 12/8 MVMCP parade waiting). We were going to do necklaces but everyone is getting those christmas light necklaces so maybe bracelets instead. You can put a few together into a necklace if you want. Just got kiddo's fundraiser order yesterday and it has some xmas light necklaces too (that I ordered back in september for our trip) so now we have some too. I know I overpaid but it was for a fundraiser. Here are the ones I got, only some light up and some are just metallic looking.

I also saw both of these (smaller bulbs and snowflake light-up necklaces) at my local Walmart, in case anyone is still looking. Prefer to get things elsewhere if I can, but sometimes I get desperate!@JamieOak I found ones just like Lisa F put in the picture at Michaels on Saturday evening. They were $5 each and I used 30% off total purchase coupon for them, so I got three from $11 with tax. They also had snowflake ones that light up that my daughter picked for her and my friends DD. The snowflake ones look like something Elsa from Frozen would wear!!!! My DS picked the Christmas bulbs one. We're not even going to a Christmas party but thought the kids might want to wear them after dark anyway...
Hope you are recovering and feeling better!Hi, all. I'm now sick and working on my touring plans as a distraction. We're doing a Tusker House lunch at AK, but I'd been planning for a quick service dinner at Yak & Yeti before River of Lights. However, since I'm highly skeptical of that and ready to move on, I'm thinking a quick service dinner at Restaurantosaurus will be better for us since our plan at the moment ends in Dinoland. Have any of you eaten there or have any feedback on it? It's certainly not as interesting as Yak & Yeti Marketplace, but it looks decent from the menu on the Disney website. I see the kids meals come with a bucket and pail-- is that for them to play in the boneyard???
@Mrs. Inc agreed--thank you for the sympathy! Thanks for the hugs....I thought all of Canada would be laughing at this craziness! Love your compassion!
