***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

There it is...this puts a smile on my face every time I see it. I don't know why I'm so obsessed with this, but I am! Yum! Hope it's not too chilly outside to really enjoy it.

Mickey Pants is so unique! I like ice cream, but I'm a cupcake gal so I have a list of options and locations. The waffles are on my list too ;-)

Ok, talk me into canceling one of my Tusker ADRs. It's for 6 people at 5:25 on Thursday 12/8. It wouldn't be a good time for ROL anyway if it ever happened (which is why I held it) plus my touring plans has me finishing in that part of the park after lunch (when I have Tusker lunch for 6 people). I can't see why I need this and I feel like I'm hoarding but don't know why with ROL still up in the air I'm hesitant to drop any of my ADRs at AK.

And if anyone here wants it let me know! That would be a great reason to shed it.

What's your day like? Give us a little more info true it is not a good time if ROL does show I think.

The pumpkin waffles at mvmcp looks good! And somehow I think the cupcakes at AK sound really good... if you are at contemporary on Dec 5, they have lemon meringue cupcakes for one day

Oh, I'm gf, so cupcakes are a struggle...because I love them! We will def. get a Masters cupcake at BOG...DD will give me a bite. Also have H&V dinner, and wishes dessert party...too many cupcake opportunities....so Mickey Pants is just for me!

• 10am start at AK
• Bugs life and Discovery island trail
• FP for Kilimanjaro safari around 11
• FP for Lion King noon show
• 12:50 Tusker lunch ADR (this seems right time/location)
• Walk maharajah trails and hope DS falls asleep in stroller
• Everest for me, DH and DD while friend stays with her DD and my DS. Hoping for SDFP.
• FP for 4pm Nemo show (will drop this for ROL)
• Dinoland
  • Tricerop spin
  • Boneyard for friend, her DD and my DS while me, DH, DD ride Dinosaur.
  • If Dinosaur is low wait or can use SDFP will let DD play too in boneyard after Dinosaur
• Quick service dinner at Resterauntoseraus
• Watch Tree of Life awakening on way out around 6:30
• Back to POR for 8pm carriage ride

Plan B:
Same as above except If ROL happens might do yak & yeti marketplace QS instead. Would stay for ROL and cancel carriage ride.

I think the 5:45 does not make sense with the plan... I like how your plans look now. The only thing is I think that you probably should eat earlier than 6:30 to make it back to POR for 8pm carriage ride though. Even for ROL you might need to eat earlier than that.

Yeah dropping that dinner ADR at Tusker makes sense. We are eating earlier than 6:30. We're going to see the tree awaksning around 6:30 after we are done eating. My guess is we'll eat around 5:30 at Restaurantosaurus

Oh sorry! I didn't read that properly! That looks perfect the tusker lunch looks like it makes more sense for your touring plan

Well today got much cheerier! Got home and had received my new running shoes, 2 books I ordered from Amazon, cat food order from Petco (not that exciting, lol), and the last of my mb decals in the mail! I also stopped at Charming Charlie on my way home. Charming Charlie is probably my MOST DANGEROUS store They always have coupons, plus a loyalty rewards program where I get $5 reward certificates, and I want to buy all of the things! Got a bunch more Christmas jewelry, plus 2 other regular necklaces not shown here, lol.

i just dropped $75 at the disney store online. They had the sorcerers of the magic kingdom binder kiddo wanted, and 25% off... why wait til I get to the parks and lug it home? lol. Got that, two packs of cards for him (going to make him earn those haha), two storybook ornaments with personalization for $8.50 each, and a 2016 disney world tshirt for him for $11.22 (originally $19.95 and I bet $19.95 at the parks still)... only had it left in his side, seemed meant to be. free shipping, just made the $75. It was a perfect order.

I think that they use some kind of courier to USPS system where it falls off tracking for days until it gets fully into the USPS system. Mine went into york, pa then to harrisburg, pa and sat a few days before finally arriving at the sorting center nearest me.

It just baffles me that they started in Memphis, because if they had taken them to a post office there on Friday (when tracking said they were in Memphis), I would have had them by Monday if not the Saturday before.

What's in the filling...more like a lemon filling or a lemon cream? I'm not totally non-dairy, but cream is worse for me than gluten!!! No cream/milk and no wheat really limits my dessert consumption...but I can scope out chocolate covered strawberries, non-dairy ice cream...Dole Whip! It's a challenge, but I"m up for it! Also, the gluten...I'm not celiac...so I can tolerate a little. Cupcakes will be out, but I think caramel popcorn will be OK.

So not sure if I should share this here but why not. My friend is at the MK right now, the first Wednesday night during MVMCP. Now MVMCP is every night this week but Saturday (the first one was Monday) and tonight. Also this weekend is the FINAL weekend of food and wine festival. Dapper day is also this weekend. So basically it is an unusual convergence of events... it is the only week where there is both MVMCP and also F&W festival... F&W is a huge draw on its own but I can see how people might pick this particular week to get both.

BUT she said she has never seen the MK so packed in her life and people are saying it's because it's the only day this week that the MK is open at night... usually MVMCP is sunday, tuesday, thursday, friday but this week it started on a monday so that is true. The line was HUGE for the people mover (it is usually a walk on). She was hoping it would clear out after fireworks at 10.. her phone was dying so I will check in with her tomorrow. I checked FP availability around 7pm for 1 and it was very sketchy.. things like dumbo and small world and magic carpets were all that was left. truly the dregs but if lines are that long I'd take them. it is also EMH tonight and she is planning to stay so I will ask her how it looked after wishes at 10, and then after EMH starts at 11.

I will check the FP situation next wednesday around the same time. I checked my "booked 60 days in advance" FP+ (I have Peter Pan, Space Mountain, BTMRR) for that day, and all 3 have very good availability left even though the 30 day window has opened for those offsite already. of course 7DMT is done but the rest have return times all day - peter pan not as much but space and btmrr have times starting around 9am-ish still. She was not able to get very good FP+ at over 30 days so that tells me that her night was shaping up to be very very busy well in advance... our wednesday does not look that busy yet by my read of FP+ availability compared to what she was telling me when she booked hers.

All the news that's not fit to print. I am very curious to see how next week same day looks when Monday is also a non-party day.

I believe it now automatically sorts them by shortest wait time first. You have the option of filtering through parks though.
