Oh, I'm so sorry, @Maryemcd! Ugh--I'm going to stick to my day job and not be a story teller because I clearly stink at it! lol Sometimes when there's a back-story with something planning related, it makes it feel all the more appreciated, but in this instance I should not have tried to tell a 2-paragraph story in 2 sentences. And you're on Facebook so you're way more in the loop that I am! (just didn't want JamieOak's efforts to go unnoticed since she had been stalking for a while). Please accept my apology for such a poorly-worded response!
Can we just scratch my original response to you and may I please have a do-over? Here's what I should have said (and it's genuine--I really mean it!!)
YAY @Maryemcd! SO glad it was successful and that you'll be going to JBJB on 12/3!!We have tickets too and I'm working on switching our plans to be able to go!!
YIPPEE!!

Want to ask about the PopWarner and dealing with them part of this thread. How much do you guys think they will effect crowds/atmosphere at Disney Springs?
this was the pumpkin that killed my Henckels paring knife. 20 years old

OMG, I forgot you were still looking for me! Yes, I'm good with the 4:35 I picked up...DH thinks it'll be better that way so we won't feel rushed to see the characters! I appreciate you looking for me though! You're awesome! That's great! So you are now set with H&V fantasmic? I check for you and @LBlovesM&WDW multiple times a day but sounds like I no longer have to look for you.
Yup, I love those moments!
Yay! Hopefully it helps! It was like night and day for me, I'm so much less frustrated now using the site! I just hope I'm able to install the add-on on my work computer now...ahem...*cough cough*.....wait, what?.....I mean.....of course I'd never spend work time looking at a Disney site!
And oh no about the mangled knives! Ugh. I'm carving my pumpkin today, still haven't decided what to do. Last year I did one of the little green aliens from Toy Story, lol. Anyone have any ideas?
Yay! DH and I will be at Sci-Fi on 12/3 at 3:05!Dude, you read my mind!I just PM'd this person to see about coordinating. Apparently I'm not done with ADR stalking/clicking/hoping....
Wow! They look amazing!!Ok, bragging moment, lol. I am so proud of my pumpkins! Especially Nemo, because I did NOT do a good job of transferring the stencil onto him using the toothpick method, so aside from the cutout that is his forehead area, I free-handed the whole thing while looking at the stencil. Eee! I am so pleased with them! I swear, if something eats them I'm gonna be so sad! Lol

Funny story...last year my cousin threw their old rotting pumpkins in the burn pile, but never got around to actually burning them. This year their burn pile turned into a pumpkin patch with actual pumpkins growing!Oh and I'm loving all the pumpkins! Great job everyone, very impressive. I've actually never in my life carved a pumpkin. I say every year that I'm going to and don't. Last year we planned some in the garden, but they didn't survive. This year a friend was going to give me some, but I think she forgot.
All thanks to @SilSprBea our ADR fairy godmotherBoo on the broken knife, does it happen to have a lifetime warranty? The pumpkin looks good though. I've always used those kits and they seem to work pretty well and I wouldn't care if they broke. In fact, I'm pretty sure I used to buy 2 just in case.
@DisneyBelle27 They look fantastic!
@SilSprBea and @Candycane83 Thank you both for thinking of me. With the help of @SilSprBea , I was able to get the illustrious Holiday Dine with F! I now have a character meal and am super stoked! Thank you thank thank you!!!
I'm so glad that @areno79 and @LBlovesM&WDW both have the fantasmic packages they were looking for now. The real thanks goes to @nicynot who had the reservation available in the first place. Nicynot dropped it to me last night so I could test if I could "fantasmicize" it, which I could! All thanks to @SilSprBea our ADR fairy godmother![]()
@Lisa F your signataure is really messing with me! For some reason it says you have 60 days until your Disney trip. Hope you didn't change your trip, LOL!
I will try michaels this week... No Home Depot here
My computer says Lisa f has 44 days..
.she's definitely moving in the wrong direction!!
Kiddo's dad is here for the weekend and halloween and we made carnitas and margaritas last night. boy was it a rough night! lol. I only had two but I am a total lightweight with the booze haha. parked on the couch with my computer just geeking out right now.Ugh, I celebrated Halloween a little too much last night and am paying for it this morning.DH and I dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf...it was fun, but my head is pounding after too many Salted Caramel Apple martinis. We're laying on the couch watching The Nightmare Before Christmas because neither of us has seen it before. I need to get my behind in gear and go to Home Depot, Michaels, and the grocery store and start doing some Disney stuff. I'd like to make my decorations for the hotel window.
Yesterday my BIL and SIL were visiting from Ohio and I was showing her a pic of the sequin green and red Mickey ears that are hella expensive in Disney. Before I knew it, I purchased a pair of silver and red sequin ears for only $3 on eBay! I am truly obsessed. Also, I had reached out to an Etsy seller and she's making DH and I Harry Potter shirts for our US/IOA day.
Our magicbands should also be shipping sometime this coming week! Lots of exciting things happening and now I'm feeling crunched to get it all done!
it's bugging the heck out of me but I am at the bf's house today and he will think I am nuts, lol. Will have to fix it tomorrow! how do you contact disney IT?On another note related to cancelled ADRs accounts showing up on MDE accounts. I had a few moments and I called Disney internet about this. They said its a known issue but they can fix it for those that call in. The agent could see the spinning circle on three reservations (one I cancelled last week, the cancelled fantasmic one for LBLovesM&WDW, and a garden grill i picked up to drop the LBLovesM&WDW's fantasmic quickly back into the system). They fixed it and now I have a clean looking itinerary on my MDE account. Anyway @Lisa F, @CaleCakes @Babs1975 if it's bothering you like it was bothering me, just call Disney internet support. Very short wait today!
I don't think a warranty would cover using it like a lever to pry the lid off (BF did it lol). I am pretty sure that is not how it is meant to be used. It's like $50 to replace it too and bf is insisting. I wish he wouldn't spend that on a stupid paring knife but he won't replace it with something cheaper. Male prideBoo on the broken knife, does it happen to have a lifetime warranty? The pumpkin looks good though. I used the number here under website support. After hitting 1 for English I pressed 3 for technical inquiries.it's bugging the heck out of me but I am at the bf's house today and he will think I am nuts, lol. Will have to fix it tomorrow! how do you contact disney IT?
That is a good question...we are going to DS early in the day, so I'm hoping it's not too much of an issue for us, but I did read somewhere that PW can impact DS crowds in the evening.Want to ask about the PopWarner and dealing with them part of this thread. Well, henkles does make a pretty terrific paring knife.I don't think a warranty would cover using it like a lever to pry the lid off (BF did it lol). It was a wedding gift 18 years ago and I feel like the set was under $100, now the equivalent set is $300Well, henkles does make a pretty terrific paring knife.
