***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Ha all, enjoying the weekend in Amish country with my aunts and sister.

Haven't caught up on all the posts but saw the chat about SOTMK. After my nephew opens up the bunch of packs I got on ebay, I can mail his "extras", if anyone is interested. @Lisa F ?
that is so sweet! kiddo would be over the moon!

I can't type it now because I am on my phone but I will post my foot care regimen at Disney layer. seriously taking care of feet and blisters makes the trip so much better! over the years I have figured out a method that works!

Ooh! Can't wait for your post! I really need to figure out how to get to a signature dinner and not kill me feet at a park after!

I'll be bringing my Keen's for sure. I need a new pair of tennis shoes. I tend to buy either Aasics or Brooks. It really depends on what the weather turns out to be.

Anyone have any experience with lockers at Disney? Waaaayyyyy past the stroller stage and I can't lug a backpack, but I want to bring extra layers for the evenings. Was thinking about using a locker...any advice??

We used one at MK in February. The high was in the mid 70s and low in the lower 50s, so we stowed our jackets and went back for them after it started getting dark. I think it was something like $10, and if you return the key by the end of the day, you get $5 of it back. The space was pretty big. Our 3 jackets, scarves, etc, fit with plenty of room to spare. We easily could have put a backpack and some souvenirs in there if we'd needed to. I figure we'll need to do that again this trip if the temps are similar. It was nice not to have to go all the way back to the car (or definitely the room) or to have to lug around stuff we didn't need for most of the day.

i might have to invest in a locker. I have a back pack but it would be nice to carry just a purse all day. the exception would be my epcot day when we'll be in epcot all day without a break... the international gateway is on the wrong side of the park from where we will be unless we stop on the way to CP in the middle of the afternoon around 2:30ish.

That is actually a great idea!! I will look at weather closer to the trip. DH wants to carry our fleece jackets in the backpack for mornings and evenings, but I feel like that will get heavy as the day wears on. I have one of those puffy winter jackets that folds into a small pack that is perfect to bring, and I'm trying to convince him to get one too but he doesn't think he'll like that style jacket. We're from NH so our regular 4 layer winter jackets are going to be total overkill for Disney (plus they're horribly heavy!)

I just read online that Epcot and DHS have one time use coin lockers as well that are $1 per use. So if you only need to stow jackets, that's also an option!

Also we must have had a "large" locker at MK. Disney's website says they have small lockers for $8 and large for $10, and with either option, you get $5 of it back when you return the key.

Thanks....that really sounds perfect!

Do you remember what the options for payment on a locker are? The webpage stated that the one-time use lockers are coin operated and you need quarters only, but they don't stipulate payment options for the key lockers.

Where are the lockers located and how do you rent one? I'm being lazy, so feel free to ignore me if you want and I'll eventually go find out myself. ;)
The ones at MK were to the far right before you went under the train station at the front of the park. There's a service counter with cast members right in front of that area. Not sure about anywhere else though, since I haven't used those ones yet.
