***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Good morning everyone!

35 days to go!!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

I've started putting together a no laundry packing list (10 nights):
15 undergarments
15 socks
4-5 bras/sports bras
10-12 t-shirts/tops
3 long sleeve shirts
3 long pants
6 shorts
2 sweatshirts
Light jacket
2 nice outfits
2 walking shoes
Flip-flops
1 nice flats
2 PJs
Gloves/hat/scarf
Toiletries
Zip-lock bags
Disposal Tupperware
Paper plates, bowls, untencils
Nice coffee mug
Glow sticks
Dry snacks - cereal, crackers, granola bars
Small fleece blanket
Portable charger
First-aid kit - (moleskin)
Sharpies/autograph stuff (still deciding - white hat, pillow case, photo mat, book)
1st December tags!

I think that is about it!

I have a serious dilemma - I think my kids would SERIOUSLY love club villain. The only knight that it would really fit into our schedule is 12/3. Which would mean cancelling the JBJB party. I think it would be too much food and too much money to do both in one night. I could possibly do it on 12/2 - that was going to be our full EPCOT day 11am to Illuminations. We'll also see Illuminations on 11/27 (assuming no ROL).

Edit: I will have my phone with MDE, ADRs and a copy of my spreadsheet. I'm planning to go with the flow other than FP. I an idea in my head on areas to head to in the parks but I won't be following any step by step plans.

I set up a few plans in TP so that I could see flow those will all stay home.

Yep, it's been unseasonably warm here lately. But, I have set aside Disney shirts that the girls won't wear until the trip. It just makes so much sense packing each day with the entire outfit. DD1 has been dressing herself lately, and it'll make it much easier on DH and I to just set out the bag with that particular day's clothing without hesitation. It'll be also easy to pack into the park bag on her BBB day if she's tired of wearing her princess dress.

Has anyone been looking on accuweather for the Orlando forecast 45 days out?:rolleyes1:rotfl:
I always pack like that!

in general this winter is supposed to be dry and mild in the southeast so that bodes well in general

Of course, in the midst of month-long drought conditions with low rainfall amounts, it has to be rainy and windy this morning for my Sleepy Hollow 10k, lol. But hey, it's just rain, I won't melt! Gotta make use of the Belle outfit I put together! 15 min til start!

Re: Club Villain dilemma
So the choice is see Illuminatons twice (provided no ROL) or Club Villain on Dec. 2, right? What if you do the 5:00 show on December 2? Club Villain lasts 2 hours so you should have time to hop on the bus after CV and scoot over to Epcot for Illuminations. I think that should work unless I am missing something (which I very much might be doing).

You've inspired me to evaluate the undergarment situation in my house as I do laundry today. :laundy:

:scratchin hmmmm...... I don't think I want the earlier show. The vibes I get from the reviews is that the latter show has fewer young children in attendance. I love young kids but I feel like this event in particular is better suited for teens and adults.

I also trying to keep park hopping to a minimum. One hop a day. On 12/3 we could go to Illuminations after JBJB...

The other issue was our Tokyo dinning dinner. It's the ADR DS is looking forward to the most. If we do do CV I want it to be a surprise.... The kids know about all the other plans.

To fund it .... I'll downgrade wishes dessert party to garden viewing and cancel the second EMM.

Socks at Target or Walmart are inexpensive....JS :)
For your younger ones add a couple of shirts and bottoms.

Great list! I'll be sure to copy some of this. :)

I think jbjb then hopping to Epcot for illuminations is a good idea since jbjb is early anyway. Is there somewhere else you can insert Tokyo dining besides 12/2? Or have lunch at Tokyo dining at 2pm ish and go to CV by 8pm on 12/2?

I may be biased, but I recommend the late 12/2 Club Villian. :D

Oooh, I hope you enjoy it! I love the NY Renaissance Faire near me, but I haven't been able to make it the last few years!

Well, it was cold, wet, and hilly but I did it! And I'm quite proud of my effort! The headless horseman was an awesome touch, though not quite as good as the one in the MNSSHP parade, lol.

Congratulations!!! Great selfie too! :thumbsup2

Hours for DHS have been updated for December but I was wondering if Evening EMH for DHS is really worth it? It's open until 11 on Fri 12/9 but I already have FP in place for what I want to do and I'm not sure if taking advantage of EMH is not wasting an evening that could be better spent somewhere else. I know I shouldn't complain but I don't understand why they even bother since there is not much left to do in DHS. Also, is it very crowded?

I had been expecting that they would change closing time at DHS to 8 and surprised they didn't. I guess they still could, but more doubtful now. I have done PM EMH at HS and found it to be pretty crowded. My strategy for our upcoming trip is to avoid EMH park. That said - I now see they have extended the MK EMH on Wednesday the 7th to 11 - 1. That's tempting as I don't think very many people make it that late.

Awesome job! I love the Belle costume!

So I may or may not have just spent $120 on shirts on Etsy. :rolleyes1
I also went to Five Below and Dollar Tree this morning; they had some cute little things for Disney. I got us Mickey and Minnie winter hats in case it's cold, and some cute socks. I had to pace myself!!

Club villain for 12/2 8pm show booked!!!

Now I have to call and change Wishes Dessert party to plaza view and cancel EMM on 12/6.

I'll have to convince DD to trade her Chef de France for Tokyo dinning. She should agree she has lots of other picks. Tokyo was DS's only pick
