OMG, ice cream flight?!? Now I really need to make sure I get over to the Boardwalk! Ugh.

And, woohoo! Looks like my running idea might actually work out!:banana::banana::cool1::cool1::cool1::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Oh, and @JamieOak and @Lisa F I ended up applying for and getting approved for the RED card, woot! I'm currently trying to figure out a rough estimate of how much $$ I'll need for food/drinks/souvenirs and will order the Disney gift cards with my RED card. Won't be a huge amount, so won't be giant savings but every little bit helps.
yeah it is nicer paying $570 than $600 lol :)

Take a look at this update Josh just posted. It might help you plan out your Epcot day a bit better: http://www.easywdw.com/easy/blog/fr...us-royal-sommerhus-waits-and-a-soarin-update/
OMG this is super helpful. thanks for posting it. It confirms that we should RD TT and should have plenty of time to get to soarin' with a minimal wait. I agree that epcot in general is much more crowded during F&W festival but we will have holidays around the world too, while not quite the draw of the food booths in F&W and F&G is still a draw. All of that hard data makes me feel better!

Ok, I think I have my itinerary pretty much set. There are a couple areas that I'm not nailing down, like when I'll get to DS and the Boardwalk area, that will just depend on what I'm in the mood for/how I'm feeling. The only thing I'm questioning at the moment is possibly dropping one of the fp's I have on the MVMCP day and getting one for Jungle Cruise instead. I'm excited to see it as the Jingle Cruise and want to make sure I get on it at least once.

If anyone sees any issues or can think of any additions/changes let me know!

And, I also have my seasonal snacks/treats/drinks/specials to look out for list put together, lol. Obviously, these items aren't set in stone, as we don't know exactly what they will have this year. I am so glad I'm fitting at least one run in on this trip, cause I am gonna be intaking sooooooo many calories! :rotfl:

Anyone know how they will be keeping track of their itineraries? Will u be printing a hard copy or will you just be relying on your smartphones??

Great list! Didn't know they had complementary chestnuts at GF!

We did B&C last time and it was good, but I'm more anxious to get my hands on something from Ample Hills this time! (I know you weren't talking to me, but I wanted to butt in with my unsolicited opinion)

I'm interjecting as well. B&C is Edy's and Ample Hills is homemade--no brainer on that one for me!

Ample Hills wasn't there the last time I visited...but I'm definitely making a stop there now!! I love ice cream. Like, it's my kryptonite!!

Don't forget Vivoli il Gelato at DS this time too! Last trip, I tried the salted caramel at L'Artisan des Glaces and it tasted horrible and I love salted caramel. I honestly thought something was wrong with the batch, that's how gross it was and it went in the trash immediately. Besides the gelato in Italy, it was the first time I was able to eat ice cream in the World (didn't know about the Fountain), since I have some kind of allergy to a preservative in ice cream, so I can only have homemade. I love all sweets (except lemon and lime stuff), so I'm going to happily go into a sugar coma j/k.

Printing and putting into plastic holders. I'm old school. Also my phone battery dies really fast so I don't want to risk having my phone die in the park. I have a back up battery charger but it doesn't seem to work on my samsung!

I've heard a lot of people comment that the soft serve in France (?) is one of the best soft serves they've ever tasted? I'm totally going to try that too! LOL! Sugar coma for an entire week and a half... :rotfl:

I'm going to bring my printed out itinerary (the one I posted an image of up above) for fun, so when I'm sitting at the airport and on the plane I can stare at it and get even more excited, lol. I'll probably just make myself a tiny cheat sheet card with my fp and dining reservation times/#s (and a few snack must-do's) just to have as a backup, but will mostly rely on my phone. I bring a portable charging pack with me, plus my phone is brand new right now, so I'm not too concerned about battery issues. Also, I no longer have the Samsung Note 7 so I know it won't blow up! :rotfl:

I don't follow a super detailed touring plan for each park so I don't need to have something like that with me as a reference.

And, I just purchased $400 worth of Disney gift cards with my new RED Card! Saved $20, I'll take it.

You guys are making me feel like I need to get busy planning my days out. In the past I have done Touring Plans, but on our last trip felt to tied to them. So I had decided this trip would be more go with the flow - just plan ADRS and FP and let the rest be spontaneous. I think I at least need to make some notes on snacks not to miss out on! Am I crazy for not doing the Touring plans? ugh!

Yeah, I'm in trouble. At least I know what I'll be able to call my trip report:
"I went to Disney World and all I got was Diabetes" :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I've been following the whole target / gift card discussion and almost went online and bought a 100.00 gift card. However, I have the disney Visa and just got my rewards card in the mail with 260 on it, which I figure I'll use for tips and OOP dining. I think for souvenirs I will just pay with my disney visa as I think I get a discount on purchases over 50.00 with it anyway…hmm have to look into it some more.
