***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Ooh, we're the opposite here! I should talk to DH about going. You two can hang out together and i'@@ hang out with your DH when you two want to just sit and watch, all in a totally appropriate, non-creepy way, of course! I am not a good dancer, though. Two left feet.

DH loves the villains. But I really think he won't want to go to this. He'd probably rather do the MVMCP.

I don't think I'm even going to tell DH about CV. He told me last week "Don't show me the plans until November 23rd" because I keep showing him the "updated" plans haha. He does not love spreadsheets like I do!

After the fast sell out of the JBJB party, I decided to book this and can always cancel later. But I'm thinking we will keep it. So many people reported that this is "the best special ticket event they've ever attended at Disney." I think meeting the villains sounds awesome, even with my introversion issues.

In the "to be packed" category I noticed some listed zip lock bags and Tupperware. Is that for left over snacks at the parks? I recently went to a regional fair with a friend who whipped out zip lock bags to take home goodies she can only get once a year. I couldn't help but laugh. In retrospect she was on to something there. She went home with snacks and I left with a belly ache.

Yup this is the idea. ;) for the caramel corn from karamell kuche in particular.

for me I will be using it for my little one's extra clothes too. Not decided if I will pack his stuff in bags too.

We'll be at wdw for 11 nights (eek!), and I've come to the realization I will have to do laundry. Now... to find time in the schedule for it!

Thank goodness for the wdw laundry website! Y'all know about it, right? http://www.laundryview.com/disneyworld/
I'm in Orlando for 12 nights and was thinking about just bring enough clothes or just buy new clothes there :rotfl2:I just don't know where to stick in laundry in my schedule :faint:

We will have a washer/dryer in our resort room, but I'm still not sure where I'll find time to do it! I imagine I'll just try to do loads in the washer overnight and then transfer to the dryer in the morning. Doing smaller loads throughout the week would be better for us I think.

You know the only time we did laundry down there was our last trip. It was so darn hot we needed to change clothes daily (2 outfits a day). I know M will probably have to wash, but I hope I have enough clothes not to.

No, no, absolutely no :laundy: for me while on vacation! That's why we get 2 checked bags each.
When I was a backpacker, I did a small bit of laundry in the sink of wher ever I was staying every other day. Socks and underwear mainly (it helped that I travelled in fall/winter mainly). I was thinking of doing a load while we do pool time if we had to? But we are only there for 7 days so maybe we won't have to.

them's fightin' words!

(just kidding. more for meeee)
I know, I know. I only eat chocolate if it has nuts or peanut butter. I used to hate getting those solid chocolate bunnies for Easter. *yuck*

With cupcakes, I usually don't like the frosting. Either it's too sweet, or there's so much of it that the cupcake just falls apart. In general I'd rather have pizza or chips and dip instead of desserts.

We were there in September last time and it was also a fairly long trip (12 days total, including the car ride down and back). With the heat and humidity, there was no way to avoid changing everything daily, sometimes even had to change clothes in the middle of the day! Dh and I did laundry by the quiet pool at BC one night. It was one heck of a late night, but we got it done. Actually, in all honesty, I think dh ended up going down to get the laundry out of the dryer by himself because I had fallen asleep!

last night i ordered $600 worth of discounted disney cards from target. Hey $30 is $30 right? ( my savings lol). This is pretty much my gratuities/oop meals/souvenir/:drinking1 money.:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Yay! Every little bit counts. I went to Target yesterday and picked up $250 worth and paid with Target egift cards I bought on Raise. I saved 6%, so only an extra 1% doing it that way. Usually I only buy when they are at least 8% off, but the trip is getting close and I'm running out of time. Just 34 days left until we leave and I still need another $1000.

I'm going to have to start doing some more research on these Target gift cards. I've been hearing about this method for ages, but haven't actually used it.

I just ordered my first Rewards Redemption Card for my Disney Visa! Woot! I got the credit card last year so this is my first time using the rewards for it. This trip keeps getting more and more real!

Oh, and I finally got my WDW countdown widget going on my phone (new phone, had to replace my potentially exploding Note 7, so sad! Lol), along with MDE and Lines on my main homescreen.

I'm going to have to start doing some more research on these Target gift cards. I've been hearing about this method for ages, but haven't actually used it.

The method has died down a lot in the past couple months. You can no longer buy Disney gift cards online at Target.com and still get the additional 5% RedCard discount, even though you pay with gift cards. They fixed that loophole. You actually can't even buy gift cards with gift cards online at Target anymore. You can still buy Disney gift cards at Target.com and pay with your RedCard and get a 5% discount (as Lisa F just did).

To maximize savings, you can instead buy Target gift cards through a reseller, like Raise, and then go to the Target store and use those to buy Disney gift cards. This method only makes sense if you buy the Target gift cards at a >5% discount. You do run a risk of getting bad Target gift cards and having to deal with that with the reseller used. I've not had any problems with Target gift cards, but I do a lot of gift card purchasing through resellers and have had issues in the past. They were always resolved quickly, Raise especially has a good policy.
