***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Did you guys see that they announced the special Sorcerer whatever card for MVMCP? It's Goofy. DH is interested in finding out more about this; he thinks it would be cool to do something interactive because they didn't have that he last time we visited.
i saw something brief about this. sounds like up my pokemon go child's alley. more info?

I am hopelessly behind at this point. work is killing me (in a good way)

Well, I just spent a very depressing but productive hour cancelling the Miami/Keys portion of what my trip had been. But, can I just say again how much I love Disney? I of course had an extra MVMCP ticket that had been the bf's, and I know they're technically nonrefundable, but have heard of people having luck getting refunds when they call. So I made the call, got to listen to Disney hold music for about a half hour (including Grim Grinning Ghosts and the Soarin' song, so I can't really complain) and they were super nice and ended up being able to refund the second ticket. Getting that money back, plus the deposits I had put down on the other hotels is really making me feel quite a bit better, money-wise, about this trip. And I'm really happy to have gotten these depressing tasks done and over with!

Now, to focus on my quest to find or make a list of all the seasonal Christmas snacks/treats/beverages in WDW! Gotta figure out what my must-haves are!

 More money for snacks and drinks is always great! :thumbsup2 I posted my snack list a while back and I know @Talby posted a great website that gave 100 of Disney's best snacks! It's a great start. I'll try to find the posts for you ;)

@Maryemcd How about a list of 101 things? :D Although pretty sure @Candycane83's awesome list came very close! ;)

Kind of fun to have a visual! ::yes:: I've not seen many of the things I've read so much about.

hey if you have to be depressed at least you made some money doing it! better than the alternative... I would just be spending money! Glad you were able to have that bit of closure, now focus on the disney trip! I have often wondered what it would be like to do it solo. how indulgent to just do what you want when you want it how you want it and not worry about anyone else!

I've actually done a solo Disney trip once before and it was amazing! In October 2012 I went down for 4 days and ran the inaugural ToT 10 Miler, hit MNSSHP, and did Epcot F&W. It was my first, and so far only times for all of those activities, and I had so much fun! Got to run around at my own pace and do whatever I felt like at any given time. It's liberating! I've also done a solo trip to San Juan, PR as well. I think if someone is up for it, and has the opportunity, travelling solo is a great experience.

And, going back to @Lisa F 's question of the day, how could I have forgotten getting to experience the Jingle Cruise! That's another of my favorite rides and I can't wait to experience it with the holiday overlay and skipper spiel! :sail::santa:

I totally agree that traveling alone can be liberating! Did a 3 week trip to England mostly on my own and had a BLAST! Would love to try disney on my own someday, but don't think my disney loving DH would let me:tongue:

So glad you were able to get a refund on the MVMCP ticket! Disney is the Best!!!

...and I booked Club Villian for 12/2 @ 8:15pm. :rolleyes1

I thought about it for a while and read many reviews. BTW good luck finding any bad reviews out there on it! I'm an introvert and DH is more of an extrovert. I think he will enjoy it more than me, but we'll see! Since we're only a party of 2, we'll be seated with 2 strangers. So hopefully they are fun to talk to.

I might have to put a temporary restraint on my rule of no dancing in public. :cool1: Though in truth that rule is there to protect the innocent bystanders.

Ooh, we're the opposite here! I should talk to DH about going. You two can hang out together and i'@@ hang out with your DH when you two want to just sit and watch, all in a totally appropriate, non-creepy way, of course! I am not a good dancer, though. Two left feet.

DH loves the villains. But I really think he won't want to go to this. He'd probably rather do the MVMCP.
