Alright, we're going with after jibjab for dinner. Does anybody here need a 4:35pm H&V before I post it to the cancellations board later?
You're a party of 2, right? Remind me what night?

I read it on the disney food blog. Yep, it's sugar overload. It's a good alternative for those who would love to do a monorail bar crawl, but can't.I've thought of picking up a cupcake or two but not a crawl![]()
Party of 2, it's for 12/9You're a party of 2, right? Remind me what night?
Oh man, you're gonna love Ohana so much! We went for the first time for my birthday in June, and oh man! It was just everything I hoped it would be! There is so much food, and you're going to want to try everything, so make sure y'all arrive with totally empty bellies! For food, here's what I'm looking forward to:
1) Ohana!! We've never been before and every time I look at a review or the menu, my mouth waters!
2) BOG dinner. Because we booked or trip past the 180 mark, I didn't think I'd get to go here at all. I'm driving DH nuts singing "Try the Grey Stuff, it's delicious! Don't believe me, ask the dishes!"
3) Carbs...all of the carbs!! LOL Seriously though, I follow a moderate carb diet normally...but I'm pretty excited to eat what I want on vacation. I'm especially excited to try a snack and drink in every country we visit in Epcot. We haven't been as a couple since 2003, so it'll be nice to drink what we want without feeling like we have to watch out for anyone else but ourselves.
Looks like great fun, but we have h&v Christmas dinner with Minnie on our hs night...Minnie is dd's #1 favorite and that's the only ressie I can't switch...too many awesome choices....next time, I guess...and I booked Club Villian for 12/2 @ 8:15pm.
I thought about it for a while and read many reviews. BTW good luck finding any bad reviews out there on it! I'm an introvert and DH is more of an extrovert. I think he will enjoy it more than me, but we'll see! Since we're only a party of 2, we'll be seated with 2 strangers. So hopefully they are fun to talk to.
I might have to put a temporary restraint on my rule of no dancing in public.Though in truth that rule is there to protect the innocent bystanders.

I would bet a better time will open up. We didn't know we were going to the world for my birthday until about 2 weeks before, and this was before I discovered the reservation finder on TP, so it was just me obsessively checking, and I started out with a 9pm, got it down to 8pm, then two days before we were going to be there, I got a nice 6:15pm. Worked perfectly for us to take a break from MK, hop on the monorail, then back with plenty of time for more rides before Wishes.I'm still trying hard to find a good Ohana ADR. If only they were open for lunch....haha
I have 2 ADRs currently. One just doesn't work at all now with JBJB. The other is a possibility on our last day, but it doesn't mesh with the flow quite right.

Was there a certain date you were looking for? Let me check but I might have an extra Ohana.I'm still trying hard to find a good Ohana ADR. If only they were open for lunch....haha

I have a 12/6 Ohana at 8:20pm...but that's itThe ideal times that I'm currently looking for are 11/29 or 11/30 (3:30 or 4:00pm either day).
Also could work: 11/27 almost any dinner time, or 11/28 @ 8:00pm, or maybe 12/4 @ 10:00pm.

what date are you looking for? I have one to drop for 12/10 I think.I've been looking for an earlier one as well! Sadly, all the times that seem to open up are after 8.![]()

Thanks though!@JamieOak your 'Ohana dinner on 12/4 is on my regular ADR checking list. If I see one I'll grab it. I used to have a 4pm 'Ohana on 12/4 but I dropped it months ago before I knew you were looking. What a bummer! That's what is on our ADR spreadsheet. Did it change to 11/29 and 11/30?
I didn't think to look on Amazon for that--I may see what they have! I think the "portfolio" SOTMK notebook is great for locals who come just to play the game. I have met a few teens during our visits who do just that--can you imagine?? It's like the equivalent of my mom dropping me off at the mall to waste a few hours on a Saturday afternoon. Grew up in Florida, but still too far away from WDW to be able to do THAT! ; )
Question of the day:
now that we are all mostly booked, what are the 3 things (in no particular order) you are most looking forward to in your trip? Can be anything, a ride, a restaurant, resort, event, whatever is making you most excited about your trip. Love to hear what other people are looking forward to. I will post my own later![]()
Don't worry, it will probably sell out fairly quickly, then you can't be tempted.
SOTMK game question - hoping this big smart group has an answer
We played last year, trip will be 13 months past. I've read games are active for 18 months. BUT this trip is booked on a different MDE account, and We will be using last years MB's for SDFP.
Anyone know if the games are tied to the band itself, or the MDE? Do the card packs have to be tied to park tickets? I'm finding conflicting info. I'd like to pick up where we left off playing but don't know how it works. Anyone know??
Y'all are not gonna believe this. So I get to playing with the reservations, and I am using my phone app and the computer at the same time trying to trick it into giving me something after 7:00pm (which it will for parties bigger than my party of 2, grrr), but anyway... I digress. I then pull up my full list of reservations, and lo and behold my 4:35pm F! H&V that I canceled in an effort to un-Fantasmic it and lost it yesterday... IS STILL THERE! WHAT???
So basically I've been stressing over rebooking this restaurant all day yesterday and this morning for nothing. And I just successfully un-Fantasmic-ed it, so now I'm good to go, with plenty of time to spare to get a good jibjab viewing spot.
EDIT: And I'm still dumb because when I tell it to pick a time at 7pm instead of selecting Dinner, it gave me boocoodles of times from 7pm and on. So now I have the 4:35pm and a 7:15pm. Now I just need to talk to roomie and see if she wants to do dinner before or after the jibjab. What even is this day???
Ya'll.....
Has anyone thought about doing a cupcake crawl?!?!?!?!![]()
@PlutosUnDr8d - Here's the one I got. Of course, I didn't actually try a card in it yet so it may be a totally wrong size (I think there are different sizes of these playing cards??)

@Lisa F - Good question!!
1. Seeing my nephew get excited when we finally tell him (with a surprise gift box @ Thanksgiving). He's home schooled and is rarely away from my sister's side for more than an hour. Even with all of the field trips and home school activities, it seems like she's always there! First trip away, first airplane ride for him!
2. MVMCP - meeting some characters, any characters at the party! Last time, we just took a quick picture of the 7D in between other people getting in the shot ;-) My sister wants to meet Baymax (Epcot)
3. Excited about WAT.
4. Character meals. In 2014, 2 days in WDW and 4 days in Universal and we didn't eat much in the parks. I dragged everyone to Chef Mickeys and most of us really liked it. Of course, my sister (the mom staying home) complained about it being too much food, too expensive, etc. Really looking forward to Tusker House, not sure why!!
@serenitynow - ha! I admit that I looked at it! But, we have enough planned with 3 dessert parties.
@Meeko5 - I am pretty sure it is tied to a specific band. Seems like a big technical flaw in the design... what happens when the batteries die in the bands??!!??
@Mal6586 - YAY!
No, but interested!! I know I have at least 2 cupcakes on my "snack and treat" list. I took @Candycane83 's list and started removing/adding items, but I haven't finalized that yet. I am a HUGE cupcake/cake/cookie fan. I'd have a cupcake over candy any day.
