***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I didn't realize our days were EXACTLY the same for the parks! :) And I'm in the same boat for 12/5. I have the CP PPO, and I'm hoping it will work....
my backup is a 1030 breakfast...so we'll go do adventureland 8-10, then breakfast. It's definitely late for us though, so it's not ideal...but, it's a backup..
my husband says we should just do the 8 breakfast anyway...depending on how the week starts, I might just stick to that

I'd keep the PPO CP if I were you and just go with it! It'll work out and still be quiet around 9am. I'd probably cancel my PPO BOG because we're having dinner there the same night. We just did the PPO BOG to get in early and eat something since we had to eat somewhere!

@rasadkowski I have a PPO for one week after you (my departure day) and will probably keep it too. My thinking is that if it's not a PPO, I'll at least be able to do rope drop and see the welcome show.

HI...brand new to dis boards, but I've been reading this thread for about a week now...first time posting. You all crack me up, and I have been going through everything you have discussed...makes me feel normal ( insert DH's eyebrow here).

:welcome:

My DH just slowly looks away if I start talking Disney. But he'll learn soon I think that he should at least pretend to pay attention. :duck:

Just reading many of you will be at Epcot on 12/7... That's our day too. Breakfast at GG at 8:45... Will be running into some of you. Dinner at coral reef at 6.

We have an 8am GG breakfast there that day! I'm sure we'll see you there :-)

Probably going to watch from Fantasyland somewhere since that's where we plan to be at that time... I have a FP for 7DMT (rider swap) and meet Cindy. We're doing EPCOT that morning, going back to the resort after lunch to nap until dinner time. We probably will enter MK only by 7/7:30.
12/7 is my random MK day....we're probably going to be in Fantasyland as well! Watch for the laminated tag!

Unless we're at GF at the Gone Mad party.

woohoo! I'll definitely look out for you :) are we overlapping anywhere else? What are your park vs day plans so far?

so now that I am 45 days away (and it's all about me) and we are over 10k posts... how is everyone doing on their planning? Why don't we check in on things you are still hoping to get/score/change.
I found out that Gasparilla's Grill at GF will be closed during our stay, so I am planning to book a couple of breakfast ADR's, one of them will be Trail's End, our favorite breakfast buffet. I usually overdose on their bacon. ;)

I am holding on to our Yak & Yeti ADR for 5:30pm, hoping it works if a ROL show schedule is released. Other than that, I think we are good.

I have space if ROL opens, if not i'm ready to book a bounceback for ROL and Star Wars.
We're planning to book the BB when we are there, too. Right now I just have one trip planned for 2017 and our new 13 month AP has got to get used more than twice (once for this Dec trip and once in March). ;) Another December trip might be good. :)

I have a decision for our first day that I could use opinions on. Our first day we are doing a resort crawl and hopefully will hit WL, FW, Poly, GF, and CR. It's a MVMCP night at MK. I currently have a California Grill ADR at 9:30pm where I didn't plan to order meals, but maybe drinks and desserts to watch the Holiday Wishes. I'm rethinking this, for a couple reasons. Here are my proposed options:

1. Just focus on the resort crawl and not try to see Holiday Wishes at all. Would you even recommend pre-watching the Holiday Wishes like this? We are going to be at a MVMCP during our trip and get to see them up close and personal. Would I be kind of "spoiling" it for us if we see them from a distance first and here the music and everything? Or am I completely overthinking this like I do everything else. :rolleyes1 This option leaves us more freedom to tour the resorts in a different order than I currently scheduled. And maybe we could end up at FW after dark and do a sleigh ride...
I've only seen Holiday Wishes from outside the park, usually from WL, and I love watching them. It is a whole different experience than from a straight on castle view inside the park. We plan to watch the Holiday Wishes from either GF or walk to the Poly, although DH doesn't know this yet. :rolleyes1

We'll be in Epcot that morning. We have a fp for Soarin' from 10:45am to 11:45am. I'm hoping to wear the ID tag. Now I just need to remember to laminate and bring it. :)

We have a late start that day with breakfast at Trattoria al Forno with a CP package for the 5 PM show. Then we have a 6:30 ADR at Chefs de France so maybe we'll bump into you in the evening:)

Where is everyone's favorite spot for illumination for those of us with no dessert party or fp?
