***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Hmm.. I don't think I want my son to wake up that early, hahahahaha! :rotfl:
My 7 month old is teething and my 3 year old is sick with a cough. Neither one sleeps well when they are sick so I am so ready for them to go back to their regular sleep schedule!! Usually they are up at 6, which is when my husband has to get up for work.

Aww, that sucks, hope they both feel better soon! My 2 year old is getting a cold too. I think it's because of the weather change.

I hear you...I am not a morning person either; except when I'm at Disney. I think I have FOMO (or maybe just excitement) because it's not uncommon for me to wake up before my alarm and be ready to go.
We are doing EMH and then EMM the first 2 days; after that we sleep in a little and get to the parks at 9am RD. Towards the end of the trip we'll be tired and will need the extra sleep, I think.
I am so not a morning person. But dd is and if she's up anyway we may as well go during lower crowd times! EMM will be rough tho!

I put in my other 3 ADRs that I need to cancel. No rush, but I want to get this taken care of in the next week or so. Here is my list:
All for 3 people:

Sun - 12/4 2:35 PM A Buffet with Character Lunch at The Crystal Palace
Sun - 12/4 6:15 PM A Buffet with Character Dinner at The Crystal Palace This is MVMCP night
Tue - 12/6 1:50 PM Sanaa Lunch
Tue - 12/6 3:00 PM Donald's Dining Safari Lunch at Tusker House Restaurant
Wed - 12/7 8:15 AM Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare
Thur - 12/8 1:40 PM Donald's Dining Safari Lunch at Tusker House Restaurant

If I were to watch the mk parade at 3 at frontierland, would we be able to leave after, get back to the poly, change, and get to 1900 park fare for 515 dinner?
If you watch the parade from Frontierland then you most likely will run into the parade again when you get to the Town Square. There are pathways marked off in Town Square so that people can cross the parade. The CM's let people cross when there is a gap in the parade. You might consider watching the parade in Town Square on the railroad station side. Then you can duck out of the park without fighting the crowd. The parade takes about ten minutes or so to get to Town Square.

my child is up at the "butt crack" (his phrase lol) of dawn. Though if i wear his little butt out he might sleep as late as 8, 8:30 at absolute latest. but it has to be prolonged keep him awake for a couple of days until he will sleep that late. He goes to bed at 8:30 and is up by 6:30 (sometimes as early as 5, I send him back to bed, but lately it's been more like 6:30 so I guess that agrees with you guys only his "later" is not very late). I will be maintaining that schedule with him the first two nights at WDW and then start keeping him up progressively later and hoping he sleeps in longer. the light control really does help.
My nine year old grandson has been like that forever. It doesn't seem to matter what time he goes to bed, he still wakes up early. The good thing is that he usually falls asleep easily when he goes to bed.

3:05pm Biergarten
Pass by France to buy breakfast for next day
4:30pm hop to DHS
4:40-5:40pm TSMM (FP)
5:45pm JBJB Dessert Party
6:45pm JBJB show
Do some resort hopping? (Maybe see the boardwalk or BC)
8:30pm Swan

Your schedule to get to DHS for your TSMM fp looks a little tight. Germany is at the far end of the world Showcase from the International Gateway. It is at least a fifteen minute walk to the International Gateway and the boat ride is 1/2 hour.

Thanks for the tips!

I'm thinking 3:05pm Biergarten, we'd be done by 4pm-4:15pm at the latest (fast eaters with toddler). 45mins to an hour to get into DHS would get me there around 5:15pm-5:30pm? I guess if we don't make it to TSMM, it would be fine since we need to check in JBJB by 5:30pm... Hmm... or I could move up Biergarten by a little... Maybe 2:30 would give us enough leeway to fit everything in...

You could catch Voices of Liberty on Dec 9th, when you are in the World Showcase. Then you could try and bump Biergarten a Little earlier. I think 2:30 would work for you.

Are you planning to buy anything special when you stop at France for breakfast on that day?

Unfortunately, no availability for 2:30. I switched to 2:55, not much of a difference but we can get there a little earlier and see if they can seat us.

No, just pastries for breakfast... but that can be knocked off if there's no time. We can always just buy stuff from boardwalk bakery after JBJB. :) Thanks again!! :)

I think because of the way they do seating there they will seat you at the next table where you fit after you show up. i am thinking of moving y&y to 2:30 too but we are in festival of the Lion King til then we are closeby but would be 5-10 min late. not sure if 20 minutes early or 10 minutes late would be better or if it matters

Hmm... hope they don't take too long seating us... Oh well, the main goal is to reach DHS before 5:30pm for JBJB, anything else is ok to miss for me.

I think for your Yak and Yeti, show up 20mins early is better than arriving late. I think if you finish sooner, it'll be better for you anyway and maybe you could drop by BWV if there is time.

I have a 4pm at Sci-Fi, so hoping I get done well before 5:30. Actually wishing I had taken @BDFmom (or was it @Talby ?) up on their offer for the 3pm Sci-Fi.

I'm really so happy you for it! :) Might see you at ROL! Are you eating anywhere at AK? :)

thanks! I have an ADR at Tusker House for 6pm. Really would love to know what time the show will be! If they offer packages I will probably try for a Flame Tree BBQ one.

Do you have an ADR?

So I have been away from this thread for quite a long while! 483 pages, yikes!!! I've been busy, and had some sad changes lately, so I will no longer be doing the Miami/Florida Keys half of my trip, I will just be doing a 5 night solo Disney Christmas trip. But, in my flurry of keeping myself busy and occupied now, I have seriously gotten back to the planning! I feel like I've missed so much! I only JUST discovered the JBJB show and dessert party. Was able to call last night at 10:30pm and get a reservation for the dessert party on 12/6, so I'm really excited about that. My goal is to throw as much Christmas-craziness as possible into this trip!

So, here is my revised itinerary. I want to get to Disney Springs at some point, but I'll decide when I'm there when I feel like swinging over there. I'm pretty happy with my fp's as well, considering I only just bought my park ticket and booked them yesterday! Eek!
