***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I just reread that post about rol.. Is it common for a new show to be released that way? Unannounced? I guess with such anticipation I could see it being a good idea, but it seems like it could also be a bit disorganized .

So packing for little ones... Does anyone pack in your little one's favorite toy that's huge? Mine has a Lucifer (yes the evil cat from Cinderella :lmao:) plushie that he can't sleep without  Going to take up room in our luggage for sure :faint: Anyone else has that one thing you dread to pack?

I'd have him carry it on the plane. It won't take any room in the luggage and he might like it for the plane ride.

@Lisa F Thank you for posting about the shoes! I was all settled in the house for the day when I saw your post about shoes. Took my girls to our outlet which only about 30 mins away. 3 hours later returned home and we all have Disney sneakers for Disney World! Run Disney ones for me and sparkly light up Ariel and Aurora stride rites for the girls.
I would have loved the Cinderella or Tinker Bell ones but they were all out. Still love my Minnie ones though.
so glad it helped someone out! I suspect they will be completely sold out in a few days!

On the topic of packing, should there be a good mix of warm and cold weather clothes? Shorts and tees and pants and sweatshirts? I would think not to many if any tank tops. I know it's early and I'll watch the weather when it gets closer just wondering if I should bother keeping any summer stuff out.

I went several years ago and it was like 70s in the daytime and 30s at night--quite the difference. We wore jeans and tees (long and short sleeves) and then had to buy gloves, scarves and hoodies. We left our coats in the car at the airport and missed them terribly--it was so ccccccold!

Yup, we're putting it in our carry on so he could have it in the flight. :)

Eek, layers and bring our coats along it is! It will be cold in Toronto anyway so bringing our coats scarf and hat along... :)

Well I finally broke down and did some clothing purchases tonight.

I had $10 and 20% off at Kohls, so I ordered this shirt for DH for free with in store pick up.

Then over to the Disneystore sale! I got 2 hoodies and 2 sleepshirts for me. One tshirt for DH. He didn't really like the selection, especially after I showed him some things I've been eyeing on Etsy.

I suggested almost every Grumpy shirt to DH until he finally agreed to one....

@Lisa F I walked right on by the NB outlet yesterday. I just bought new skechers and bobs, so NB wasn't a thought. Too bad I didn't go in there.

@JamieOak At least he agreed to one. We saw some Star Wars tees about a month ago and then saw them again today. There was a Yoda Christmas one and I showed him a bunch of others. His response was...why are you pushing this so much?, my answer...because I want you to look Disney festive. He then says...I'll just buy it down there. I have strong doubts this will ever happen.

Aw that's such a bummer that he isn't playing along! I figured DH wouldn't want to play along, but he's actually far exceeding my expectations by getting into it and wanting to pick shirts. I had to veto a few of his ides like "Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum" shirts.

It's a little bit of a bummer, but I really can't complain. We went away last night and he took me on a mini shopping spree.

I might just buy a couple of shirts for DH without asking... if I pack them anyway:scratchin he's not against them, just against me spending too much but it will be cheaper here due to currency exchange :rolleyes1

I got my husband to agree for us to all wear matching shirts 1 of our days. I got simple ones (my husband woundn't go for something holiday or too cutesie) at the Disney store that came ladies, mens, girls and boys. Since we have memory maker I'm hoping to be able to get our pictures done and use for our Christmas card.

Lol are we married to the same guy? My dh usually picks up a souvenir shirt each vacation but only if they are cheap!

my child is watching the blackish disney episode again. He thinks it is hysterical that they are so cynical about soarin' (my words not his) and then they love it.

I'm back and forth about whether we should do RD for soarin' or do EMH at Epcot the night before.

With my plan as I have it we have twilight zone ToT before H&V TSMM after... but we will have already had a HS day before then so it's not CRITICAL that we ride TSMM between dinner and F!. I can add ToT to my regular HS day as I am not really utilizing FP+ much that day expecting to cancel for RoL - if I do that it will be SDFP for me and I can probably get ToT on our way out with SDFP also.

I'm wondering instead if I want to make a late FP+ for Soarin' to kick us off into EMH at Epcot... we could do Soarin' that night and then Illuminations... then decide if we want to head back to the hotel to RD Soarin' the next day again or stay for EMH depending on how we feel. We have 10am Garden Grill the next day.

Thoughts? ARGH I hate second guessing!

Ha ha, mine really doesn't buy much at Disney and dresses in a "uniform" daily (colored/striped tee, plaid/striped shirt and cargo pants). He got really into limited edition pin collecting the last couple of trips, so that was a nice surprise.

I'm having a little dining decision dilemma. Last trip we missed our breakfast at Kona because I screwed up the transportation plan and I've been bummed about it ever since. I have a 9:30 breakfast scheduled there for 12/3 this trip but now I'm wondering if we even want to go. He doesn't generally eat sweet breakfast foods and I know I wouldn't be able to eat more than a few bites of the Tonga Toast even though I really want to try it. And I can't really eat macadamia nuts so the pancakes are out too. I'm thinking about switching to Boma or Trails End instead. We've done Boma before for breakfast and both really liked it but the TE weekend brunch buffet looks really good too and we've never been to WL before so I want to check it out this trip.
