***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I wish I could put all that into touring plans so it could time it out. I'm assuming the monorail would be quicker than a park-to-park bus, but I don't know.
Hah, I totally missed this. I find it hard not having control over such a short amount of time. I'm not sure but another option would be exiting out of the intl gateway, walking to BC and taking uber to CR from there would be quicker... maybe someone with more experience could help out with timing this.

I just have to say, I totally agree with @BDFmom and yourself about this thread! :)

And I love  the use of these emojis- :rockband::rockband: you totally rock @Talby

:rockband::rockband: Maybe this should be our thread's mascot?! lol Hmmm....what should our theme song be?

It really is great. Sometimes I wish I could give more advice, because I feel like I'm always taking it. :rolleyes1 But this is almost a newbie trip for me since I haven't been for many many years and none of my trips were ever planned like this. All I remember is camping at Ft Wilderness and we ate there every day and loved it! (Just saying that reminds me of Lisa F's story of her friend eating at Boma every night of her trip:rotfl2:). I can't even say which restaurant that would've been back then. I remember Space and Splash mountain and the Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki Tiki room. But that's about it. I don't think we ever went anywhere other than MK either!

I feel MUCH the same way. That's why I get such a thrill if I can help with an ADR. Makes me feel better for being the recipient of so much help/advice! But I'm stealing your spreadsheet organization that you posted tonight, so you ARE helping! And I may be laminating plans thanks to a comment you made recently! I think everyone on here brings something unique/special to the table that adds to the overall dynamic. ;)

Just another itinerary if anyone would care to critique! We're late park goers if you can't tell! I'm posting my major plans (ADRs and FP) but of course there will be other touring at the parks. Not going to list every attraction we want to see (would be too boring) LOL. Things that are bolded need opinions please!!

I could try and make a google doc with my spreadsheet format if that'd help you! Glad to help. If I can't bring any actual Disney advice to the table, I can at least bring my anal retentive spreadsheets and organization tactics! :cool2:

Back to the shirt buying conversation from whenever it was. Today I bought 2 on etsy and am in conversations for about 5 more. I need clothes to wear, don't I? I may have gotten M to agree to match one day, but that isn't definite yet.

Girl, don't even get me started on the matching shirts! LOL I'm a little bummed because DH bought a Star Wars shirt without me the other day, so no matching shirts for us for the SW dessert party :(

Just send me a PM if/whenever you decide you want it. It's just sitting there not in the way of anything at all, so it can just wait on Disney's announcement!

Isn't Etsy wonderful?! :) I've developed 2 addictions in the past few months...Disney planning and Etsy! Score for hopeful matching LB&M shirts!! :thumbsup2

Errr...ummm....make that 3 addictions when you count this thread! haha :D

Aww, thank you!! I'll let you know! :thumbsup2

That's part of my confusion! Especially on 12/3 with tentatively planning to do the SW dessert party and how that will affect dinner plans. Should I not schedule a TS dinner so we are hungry for the dessert party? But is the dessert party enough food to consider it our dinner? Let along the schedule not being released yet!

I worried about this same thing. We're not huge on sweets, so trying to time an ADR where we're hungry enough to eat, but not so starving that we have a sugar crash is proving difficult! Without knowing the schedules I feel like a blind person trying to insert an IV while on a roller coaster.

I feel like I'm always ditto-ing @areno79 :tiptoe:, but I am also still trying to get a 5:00 H&V dinner. :) I have 4:15 and 5:40, so it will be fine one way or the other. 5:00 is just the IDEAL! :flower1:

@chasingthtdream08 Looks like you have a mighty fine vacation in store!! I'm terrible at critiquing. And decision making! lol For WCC vs. CG, I might lean towards CG even though it's a bit late because of the amazing reviews both food/service wise and the awesome fireworks viewing. I would for sure go with the 5:55 Le Cellier because of your lunch timing that day. I love reading itineraries--thanks for sharing yours! :)

:rotfl2:I love that creepy smiley guy! Hahaha I have an H&V at 3:40 and at 6:20 right now. Pretty much will be happy if I get anything between 3:45 and 5! It's an elusive one!!

I'm worried it won't be substantial enough either. But I'm also not confident in scheduling a dinner ADR afterwards, because not enough time to cancel it if we realize we aren't hungry. Ugh, I just want the schedule already!
i have read that you can change your reservation to a later date and THEN cancel it. anyone have experience?

I've read that too and kept it in the back of my mind. I'm interested to hear more confirmation on that as well.

He told me it felt like work having to have to wear something on a particular day. I mean WTH was I thinking:crazy2:? I seriously don't understand his logic sometimes. Oh well, I'll get over it and I'll be Disneyfied!

That's a great idea. I have Disney Springs penciled in as an option for after the SW fireworks. So far the options are heading over to Epcot until it closes at 9:30, or the Boardwalk and possibly Jellyrolls for a bit, or Disney Springs. There's QS or snack options at all of those options. I had Flying Fish as an option for either 12/2 or 12/3, but I think I've settled on 12/2.

Honestly, Blaze looks awesome and has been getting good reviews. WGPE is like eating a table service almost and Earl of Sandwich has the Thanksgiving sandwich, which is yummy. The other new QS look tasty. Our peppermint friend @Candycane83 is right about open table too. The new Frontera Cocina is also on there (I have a reservation for there and can't wait!). So many amazing choices and they close at like 11 or so, even better!

I haven't tried it yet but I read it could only be done on the MDE app. Thinking of testing it out before the trip and just calling to get the fee waived hopefully if it does not work...

:rotfl2: I should buy a shirt with diagonal red stripes and wear this to the Xmas party!

I'm so envious of you! I read awesome reviews of frontera but not sure ds would eat anything there so we opted out this time. We (by that I mean I) picked homecoming and boathouse instead :P you're right though, so many awesome food choices at DS. Read good reviews on morimoto forbidden lounge too. I'm not sure how late the outdoor kiosk opens though. But for sure QS options are open late.

Hi everyone. Been busy the past couple of days and have checked back here periodically since then but I missed a lot. This thread moves really fast! I think I'm about 12 pages behind. I left off with @Lisa F posting her touring plans which made me realize that FP+ are best used in the middle of the day when parks are busiest. Thanks for that. I will use that strategy on Tuesday when making my FP+.

Also well done on that ADR swap by @Talby and @JamieOak!!! :thumbsup2 I recently transferred a BOG dinner ADR with someone on the cancellation thread and it was a great feeling when it worked. Definitely worthy of a mini-celebration :mickeyjum!!!!

Also (a little :offtopic:) but does anyone have any plans to order a :cake: while at DW? I called the cake hotline to inquire about a cake for our anniversary dinner at Artist Point and ended up ordering a replica of the top tier of our wedding cake. The process was really simple. Also considering something for our CRT dinner. Was thinking something simple for this. Maybe chocolate slipper for DW and cupcakes for DD and DS.

Is anyone celebrating any special occasions while at DW? Who am I kidding? Just being at DW is a special occasion worth celebrating! :smickey:

I only skimmed the Disney Springs menus, I may have to look closer. I remember the crepe place and poutine went on my list for sure!

Aww that's so sweet! We're not celebrating anything (not bday or anniversary at least, but it is DS2's first trip) so I don't really have an excuse to order cake, lol! But I am looking forward to trying a mini cake or two at amorette. ;)

It's technically our honeymoon. But we've been married over 4 years! Our anniversary is Sept 2nd, so we won't be there over our anniversary. We bought the house and land shortly after marriage and haven't traveled anywhere since, not even an overnight trip together. I travel for work sometimes, but DH doesn't.

I wasn't planning on a cake order though. There's just 2 of us and tons of desserts to choose from, so I figured we'd be ok.

Wolfgang Puck Express was the first place we ever ate on our first Disney trip back in 2003, and we go every time we're there. The food is delicious, but it's not as pricy as a TS. Earl of Sandwich is also one of our faves!
