***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Hmm. Spent an hour on the phone with Disney technical support and they couldn't override the system for my friend to allow our FP selection to go through along with mine. We had been told that when we were linked we could book together, but because she a room+tickets package the system won't recognize her tickets until 10/8. If she'd just booked a room only and bought the tickets separately, it would have worked for me to book her FP when booking mine. Ugh. Is this kind of what happend to you, @Iowamomof4

I'm worried about losing out on the FP I made at MK for Friday 12/9. My current plan for 12/9 is:

• 8am-- EMH. Not sure what we will ride then but probably tons of stuff in Fantasyland between 8-9:30
• 9-10 FP+ Enchanted Tales with Belle
• 10:05 Be our Guest for a cupcake break in the castle
• 10:10-11:10 F+ 7DMT
• 11:10-12:10 F+ Peter Pan
• 1 pm Crystal Palace lunch
• 3 pm Festival of Fancy parade

Anyway, I am worried that we won't be able to add her to those times come Saturday morning for her FP window. The IT person kept telling me not to worry that the FP system is not like the ADR system when adding people to a reservation, but we'll see. She claims that it will just look to add 2 people and not look for a whole new opening for 6 like ADRs do when you try and modify. I guess worst case I cray to guest services like @Lisa F suggested.

ADR clean-up is beginning! Do any of you want a 12/7 Akershus lunch for 4 people at 1:40pm before I post to the cancellation thread? We had a dinner and lunch that day and will be keeping the dinner since FEA FP+ worked out the way we wanted them to!

I think they're going on last year's times, but I wouldn't think they'd be too far off. Of course, I say that, and I'll have jinxed it and my touring plan will get scrambled all to heck once we get there!

Thanks for posting this! I'm not sure yet how detailed I am going to get with my Epcot plans, especially in the WS. But at the very least I will have this schedule printed on my Epcot day plans for reference. (I'm already thinking of starting my day files that will be printed and laminated.) I'll just have to check when they post this year's schedule and update as needed.

Oh well, apparently my 5:45-6:45 7DMT FP will be cancelled eventually because of MVMCP (anything after 5:30 disappears), at least the lines won't be too long during the party

Exactly. Don't worry too much about the FP's prior to the party! People will be clearing out of the park who aren't party-goers.

they publish a times guide that is accurate too, you can grab it on your way in year the maps any given day - it's a separate sheet. I always grab those, you never know what might change week by week.

No, I don't remember seeing a 5:30 slot this morning, I grabbed the 5:45 then grabbed earlier slots (I did manage to get Belle). Not a huge loss but at least I have a pic on my phone with my current FP+ in case the CM is willing to help out. I'll still keep checking closer to the party, but I knew it was a long shot anyways

MAYBE I can squeeze in the 3:15 Hanukah presentation before 3:30 voices of liberty and the 2:10 pere noel in france on the way. that will probably be it for me on my epcot day (just the way the hours nest). I want to pick a pearl at Japan too and have to check out the other entertainment schedules but more want to leisurely make our way from future world to american adventure and then back around after.

What are everybody's plans WRT Santa for their kids? I take my son every year to see Santa. The Epcot Santa m&g has specific times that really do not work for me so I am thinking of taking him to see Santa in the MK on our last day, maybe even the last thing we do on our way out since he is there til 5. dunno. any thoughts? He will only see Santa once.

are you sure that is on a party date? if they do cancel it in advance ask them as an any time FP+ for that ride, they have done that for others they have cancelled it on.

We made it home late last night. The girls didn't do quite as well this time around, but they weren't little terrors either. We kept DD1 home from school today, and we're taking it easy. Thank you so much for all of your kind comments and well wishes! Nana for now, is doing okay. Like I said before, it's been a huge sigh of relief for me to see her in person, so now whatever happens I won't feel the regret of not seeing her one more time.

In other news, we found out Sunday night that my brother and his wife are expecting #3! They're due in April. They're still planning on coming to WDW, but it does mean that, the trip will be a little more different (and that's okay!) they'll be finding out the gender right before Thanksgiving, so it'll be fun to buy some gender specific things while we are down there. Her younger two will only be 13 months apart.

Anyway, hope you all are well! Looks like FP+ was mostly successful! I did find myself readjusting times to fit better with my ADR's and now it just feels right.

I plan on seeing Santa before party at MK. I'm hoping it's not too long of a line!
I should clarify....we will be hoping to see him around 3:50/4:00. My thought is that maybe we can get in line to see him before the party goers enter the gates with their party tickets at 4:00, but early enough that we aren't in the crowd of non-party goers trying to see him on their way out around 7.

Obviously my FP are later because we are not there until the afternoon. Does that mean i can't make a FP past 5:30? I didn't see that anywhere. Just seeing all these posts about FP being cancelled if they are after 5:30 on a party date. It would be nice if that was publicized

Where can we find the schedule for santas? Haven't even looked at that yet!

I won't print and laminate my plans until the week beforehand. I'll just be working on the electronic files until then. So hopefully that lessens the liklihood of changes, but it's always possible. I also have versions of each park map from WDWprepschool that I'll print for each day. Those are the maps I've been looking at most and I am most familiar with.

5:30-6:30 is the last viable fp slot on party days. I think they want to really encourage those who don't have tickets to not stick around. Obviously Disney doesn't have the accurate times loaded in their system right now, but yes, I've heard of people getting their fastpasses canceled that started after 5:30.

I did not even see any FP+ available past 5:30 on party nights (but I did not look at the "all times" option either)

yep there are maps and current times guides at all entrances I always end up picking them up lol. there is a special map with times in it for MVMCP
