On the train now. What a stressful and frazzled morning. Trying to do fastpasses, celebrating my DS this am (he turns 3 today!), getting the kids ready to school and us off to work. I forgot my work bag and laptop when I was at the train and had to run back home and get it. I'm so late to work this am and still need to find time to call Disney this am and straighten out the fastpass situation. I was assured my friend and I were properly linked and I could book our entire party together. Not worried about our AK day together but on our last day together we are MK and we have belle, 7DMT and Peter Pan all before noon. Ugh. If I wait until 10/8 (her window) there won't be room at those times.

At least my Epcot day is good, LOL!

crazy morning for sure. I will say it was not a treat having to deal with this during my normal busy morning getting myself and kiddo out the door and I had no birthdays to deal with! As much as he wants to go to Disney he is not that interested in making FP+. he wants to know what they are but giving me a half hour of peace to make them? No way! lol

Glad you got what you wanted though! at least that is a relief right? hopefully they can resolve the other issue quickly! IF they can't you can always go to guest services and explain what happened and they can give her 3 any time FP+ that will allow her to tour with you.

Already been on TP this morning tweaking my touring plans! Got my Epcot one to work with my slightly later FEA fast pass quite nicely. Just had to juggle around a couple of storytellers! Gonna make myself a new itinerary later this afternoon. I'll post when I get it done.

I was just curious...yesterday was my fp day, and I was able to get what I wanted pretty much all within 15 min or so. I was looking back today in case I wanted to move something (just because i can't help myself) and it seems that the bigger rides (belle/peter pan/ 7dmt) all do still have tons of openings, just absolutely nothing between like 12-2. Is that just the most popular fp times?...OR...is it because my times are within that window...like i have an 11:30 -12:30....and I was thinking of moving it to 12:00-1:00, but it doesn't show availability...Is that only because it's the window that I'm already in right now? I hope that makes sense.
I know everyone is saying that if you go to modify, other times keep popping up? do you have to technically make the change? I didn't want to do that just incase a better time does not pop up once i've modified it. make sense?
...i think I better stop messing with it and stay put before all my fastpasses disappear and for some reason all of my adrs get cancelled

@Lisa F Thanks! I will definitely keep looking. Unfortunately there's not much wiggle room those 2 days. We're driving all day Saturday and sleeping in Jacksonville so we'll still be a couple hours out Sunday morning. Monday night we have the kids club booked. We were going to rope drop Test Track but you're right I could switch that and RD Frozen instead.
I'm glad I at least got one time for each. Once is better than none.
For 7DMT, we're going to 2 MVMCP so I'm hoping the lines won't be horrible.

Booking the FP is so fun, we're all getting so close!!!!

yes, if you have a fp+ during a time it won't show you that time as available for other attractions. I had to actually move my stuff around in stages, moving it completely out of the time I wanted and then moving it back in when availability showed. it's weird. you should be fine doing this for ANYTHING BUT FEA & 7DMT.

no you don't have to make the change if you look at the times. you have to select a time and then confirm. you can always "start over" which backs you completely out of the whole process. nerve wracking but it works!

OMG, definitely downloading it!! Last night after I went to Zumba I came home and worked on some things until 10:00, while blasting the Pandora Disney station. My DH was annoyed, but admitted before he went to bed that I looked like I was in my happy place!
I just got a new 128GB iPhone on Sunday, so pretty excited to be able to download things! (My previous phone only had 16 GB, so I couldn't even take pictures it was so full!)

Congrats to everyone who booked their FP's this AM! Sorry for the extra stress though @Mal6586 and @SilSprBea At least the hard part is done!!

could I trouble you to post it here? since I am doing the lisa touring plans method instead of theirs lol. I am wondering if it's just the schedule for last year or if they have been released somewhere yet.

Hmm. Spent an hour on the phone with Disney technical support and they couldn't override the system for my friend to allow our FP selection to go through along with mine. We had been told that when we were linked we could book together, but because she a room+tickets package the system won't recognize her tickets until 10/8. If she'd just booked a room only and bought the tickets separately, it would have worked for me to book her FP when booking mine. Ugh. Is this kind of what happend to you, @Iowamomof4

I'm worried about losing out on the FP I made at MK for Friday 12/9. My current plan for 12/9 is:

• 8am-- EMH. Not sure what we will ride then but probably tons of stuff in Fantasyland between 8-9:30
• 9-10 FP+ Enchanted Tales with Belle
• 10:05 Be our Guest for a cupcake break in the castle
• 10:10-11:10 F+ 7DMT
• 11:10-12:10 F+ Peter Pan
• 1 pm Crystal Palace lunch
• 3 pm Festival of Fancy parade

Anyway, I am worried that we won't be able to add her to those times come Saturday morning for her FP window. The IT person kept telling me not to worry that the FP system is not like the ADR system when adding people to a reservation, but we'll see. She claims that it will just look to add 2 people and not look for a whole new opening for 6 like ADRs do when you try and modify. I guess worst case I cray to guest services like @Lisa F suggested.

yes, if you have a fp+ during a time it won't show you that time as available for other attractions. I am not going to continue to modify because this change does involve 7dmt / pp and Belle. Im nervous about touching all of them!
My first thought was doing 7DMT as the first ride when we get to the park on our last day. So I got it for 11:35-12:35. (its the morning after the party)
We have breakfast at CRT at 9:55.
So, PLEASE don't think I'm any more crazy than you already thought I was ...but, I was thinking that maybe it would have been better to schedule 7dmt a bit later, since we would have just eaten breakfast. But I guess it's not like RIGHT after breakfast. Plus, I don't know if 7dmt is a really bumpy roller coaster, or if it'll be okay having just eaten a bigger meal.
Im also thinking it'll be ok to hit the later end of the fp time....a 9:55 breakfast with a 12:30 roller coaster ride seems like it might be okay?

and is it true that you just have to GET to the ride by your fp time? is there a scanner right at the entrance that is easy to tap (not blocked by a ton of people in line) so that you can count on "just making" your fp time?

I think you should be ok tweaking that stuff for now. I would first cancel whatever is in the time slot that you want to move 7DMT into. then I would attempt to modify 7DMT and move it into that time slot. then rebook what you cancelled. You SHOULD be fine and you should be fine to pick up what you just cancelled if you don't find anything for 7DMT. I would prefer to not do it close to a meal myself! it is a very smooth roller coaster but sometimes the smoother ones make me more nauseous than the bumpy ones.

I think she tried to do that @Lisa F. The problem is my friend and her DD aren't showing up as having tickets because the tickets are tied to the room package (it's the way the whole thing was booked), so she can't add FP+ to someone without tickets. She escalated and tried to do stuff for an hour, but couldn't fix it.

I'm going to just let it go and see what happens. Not much I can do if my MK plans get screwed up and I think my kids will have a fabulous time no matter what since they don't know any better! The most important things is that I got Frozen Ever After when I wanted it to so I'm just going to try (this will be hard, believe me) to not stress over something I can't seem to control.

Yay! Just finished making MOST of my FP now that I'm at 59 days. Got everything I wanted! Now if only dining reservations were that easy?! On another note, DIS should probably do something about those D-Con ads on this site. Not a good look!
