***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I love reading through the posts today. I can feel everyone's excitement from making fp! Its fun reading everyone's thoughts and plans and all the new little changes people are considering making!
I feel like I'm on the other side of the fence!! :)
My thoughts exactly!!! All this FP+ talk is killing me. Just want next Tuesday to get here already!! :jumping3:

Congrats everyone on successful FP+ days and good luck to all still upcoming!pixiedust:
I decided today to double up on some of my ADRs just in case FP+ availabilty doesn't want to cooperate with my original ADR times. I've noticed that some of you guys are hanging on to multiple ADRs and it just struck me today that it would be the wise thing to do. At least until I see how my FP morning goes.

I'm wondering what you guys think of this....using a fp for Under the Sea..
a "what are you thinking!?" big fat "nay"
or
a "ehh...it's alright, I guess if you really want to see the ride and you're headed to that area at a high traffic time of day" "yay"
???

I'd say it depends on the other rides you're considering a fp for. ETWB, PP (you're doing EMM that day, right?), and possibly others might be a better use.

Currently, I'm lounging by the pool while the girls nap, in the glorious 86 degree weather! Loving the sunshine! :) We took the girls to the zoo this morning, after visiting nana again, and they did AWESOME! I love our new stroller and both kids passed out in it! This gives me major peace of mind!

We're going over (again), what our plans will be for 11/30 and 12/4.

For 11/30, we have a 9:30 breakfast at Captains Grille. We are now headed to HS after, but with SW fireworks scheduled for either 7:45/8:00pm, what should we do for dinner? Keep in mind at this point we won't be on the dining plan. For lunch/snack we'll eat something in HS. The girls will definitely need dinner, and so far we've been SOL for finding an ADR in HS. Should we maybe just stick to CS for dinner too? Then if DH and I are hungry later, we could order room service? Thoughts?

For 12/4, we're considering it a "rest day". My brother and wife are going to Epcot for the day, and they're doing CP at 4:15, and then they'll join us for dinner in DS, either at Art Smiths or Raglan Road. Because we only found 1 FEA, I did get DD1 and DH a FP for FEA on 12/4, so at least she'll be able to ride it at least twice. My question is, we only have one HS day planned, being 11/30. Should I add another day there? At some point during the trip, I really would like to visit the resorts and check out the decorations. I'd also be picking up some Christmas presents too. Thoughts?

See, FP's don't make the planning any easier, in fact, they make me wonder even more about our days!

I just got a CRT on 11/30 @ 8:30pm. Closer than my other ADR at 9:45pm to what I was trying for, but still a little late with Wishes at 10pm. Does anyone have any experience with either getting out of CRT right as the fireworks are going to start, or even watching the fireworks from inside the restaurant if you can score a window table?
to me this view is a "i've seen wishes a bunch of times and I am interested in a new vantage point" view. It's kind of like the fantasyland view (well you are facing fantasyland) - it's nice and it's different but it's not the way the show was intended to be seen. if you have a window seat it can be romantic and magical and feels a bit like you're alone in the world... but it's a crap shoot whether you would and it is more about the overall atmosphere if that makes sense.

So true! It just really depends on how much you get done during the EMM in Fantasyland. :)

Touring Plans shows the following for standby times for today for Under the Sea. I'm sure there's a way to figure this out for by factoring in crowd calendars on 12/4 or something well beyond my patience and skill set, but just to give you an idea of what it looks like w/o a FP. :-)

Time Standby Time
8:00am 8 min
9:00am 6 min
10:00am 7 min
11:00am 14 min
12:00pm 27 min
1:00pm 34 min
2:00pm 31 min
3:00pm 16 min
4:00pm 34 min
5:00pm 30 min
6:00pm 14 min
7:00pm 26 min
8:00pm 22 min
9:00pm 3 min
10:00pm 18 min
11:00pm 18 min
12:00am 16 min

LOL!! Too funny! This planning process is something else! Just a few short months ago, I had no clue the amount of fun that went into planning a Disney vacation! And I'm exhausted!! lol!! I'll need to rest up so I can enjoy the fruits of my labor. There's been so much happening on the cancellations thread. Add your persistence to increased opportunity, and those seem like good odds. What dates are you looking for for the BOG/CRT?

Now that I feel better about my days, after I took out the 2nd AK morning and replaced it with Epcot, it's looking more like a puzzle to me and I like puzzles. The hardest part for me right now is chosing which restaurants make the cut because there are so many good ones!

11/30 is the date I'm looking for a dinner around 7pm at either BOG or CRT.

That's a good point. I'll keep trying for an earlier time. This is going to be my first time seeing Wishes ever and we'll see regular wishes once, then holiday wishes once. I don't have a lot of nights planned in MK, just 2.

Okay, I need help. So I came to the masters. ;)

Tomorrow is FP day, and this is my priority FP wishlist (with the knowledge that my first choice FEA is probably unavailable for my party of 9). My question is this: what order would you book these in? This is the order I have written down, but after FEA & 7DMT, I'm not sure what to go to next: (all times are AM unless otherwise noted).

1.) FEA (Dec 9) 11:30 (first choice) if unavailable, look for 8:00pm
2.) 7DMT (Dec 6) 10:00
3.) Peter Pan (Dec 3) 7:00pm
4.) Under the Sea (Dec 6) 9:00
5.) Jungle Cruise (Dec 8) 4:30pm
6.) Space Mountain (Dec 3) 8:15pm
7.) Buzz Lightyear Space Spin (Dec 3) 4:30pm
8.) Meet Mickey @ Town Square (Dec 8) 3:30pm
9.) Winne the Pooh (Dec 6) 12:00pm
10.) Soarin' (Dec 7) 11:00
11.) Kilaminjaro Safari (Dec 4) 10:30
12.) Toy Story Mania (Dec 5) 10:00
13.) Fest of Lion King (dec 4) 9:30
14.) Turtle Talk (Dec 7) 12:00pm
15.) The Seas wNemo (Dec 7) 1:00pm
16.) Meet Deisney Pals @ Character Spot (Dec 9) 9:30
17.) For The First Time in Forever (Dec 5) 11:30
18.) Star Tours (Dec 5) 4:30

Just need help with what order to book in...thanks in advance!!!

Big news for our family today. DD8 has been taking classes at a dance studio since she was 3yo. Today we found out that her studio was invited to participate in the 2017 Holiday Spectacular Parade at DW! We don't really have too many details at this point but we're totally excited to have the opportunity!!!

I don't think it much matters beyond
1) FEA
2) 7DMT
3) early Safari
4) Peter Pan
except for teh first two and possibly the third you should have your choice of the rest.

Did you see @Talby 's revelation that you can click on the picture of the attraction and it will display a ton more choice for FP+ time? so if you don't get what you want with the search engine do that and you will see a lot more choice.

Yes :) I'm hoping for pp and belle and 7dmt on my last day. This would be for my first day, and we're mostly in fantasyland. I'm hoping for haunted mansion, splash, and one fantasyland ride. I was trying to decide whether I should get a fp for under the sea or small world. I was thinking this might be better, but if you think small world is a good option, please do let me know! I heard dumbo really didn't need one.... I guess I could always get a fp for pooh, or pp, but yes... We will be already riding those only a few hours earlier

@Talby thank you so much for posting those times for under the sea!
dare I ask this? But have you happened to check how fea has been looking for availability as the day has gone on?

I just checked my FEA FP+ (I can say modify it and see the times) and I still see the same availability as earlier. for 2 it is still giving me 15 choices of time starting at 2:55 and running through 9pm for 12/5.

Ok.. Sorry everyone, :( really annoying question headed your way. @Candycane83 actually brought my attention to this earlier, but am I able to try to book fp for, say, 11-12, 12-1, and 1-2? Or is it like adrs that nothing at all can overlap? Like I would need a 11-12, 12:05-1:05, 1:10-2:10..... Like that?
Sorry to be a huge pain :guilty:...
BUT! At least I can sleep tonight having found out what they did with those mr. coffee hot dogs....YUM-O!

So now that I have my fast passes made as of yesterday, i feel like i can plan the rest of this trip a bit better, heres what i just spent the evening doing...

IMG_2497.JPG

I am going with three other people. When i say free nights, i mean we spilt into groups of two. The other two are now going to hop on their A game and plan for a few hours at the end of 2 nights and one morning (most of which I'm sure will be filled with shopping or coin pressing)
It will give me a break from having to stick with the crowd. Iv got park hoppers for all Friday through Tuesday, so SUNDAY I plan on hitting up Hollywood Studios for EMH and do TOT, RNR and Toy Story? Okay, so probably not all three cause I have an ADR at Boma for 10:30 for 2 people. I have NEVER been to AKL and I REALLY want to see that tree!!
The 2nd, I am really hoping Hollywood Studios will have StarWars fireworks, so i'll hop over there to see them. If not, maybe while the crowds are watching fantastic, i'll do RNR or something?
