***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I have a question about park hours (maybe @Lisa F knows since you are my Disney knowledge hero!). I've noticed that October park hours were adjusted a lot by Disney. On most days that don't have EMM the Magic Kingdom opens at 8am and extra magic hours are from 7-8am. I know I may sound weird in saying this, but I hope they don't do that for December. Getting to the park by 8am will be hard enough for us, but to try and be there by 7am would be IMPOSSIBLE for my family, LOL! Plus it would really screw up our PPO ADRs!

Is October particularly busy? Is it because of food and wine? It doesn't appear that they did the same in October of last year.

It looks that park hours were only extended last year starting December 16th.

anything goes. unfortunately disney DOES sometimes expand hours in that direction. They do it and it does screw up people with PPOs because then their ADRs are in prime touring time. They do not open the restaurants up an hour earlier for ADRs though I don't think. It sucks and a lot of people get stuck. No way to know what they will do til they do it.

I do think that the parks in general are busier in october because of the combo of food and wine with MNSSHP. The schedules are really kind of screwey this year with half of disney studios being closed and RoL not open yet but the other nighttime stuff at AK in support of that going and it's really your guess is as good as mine.

Yep, I had heard about it but it didn't affect me because we're only meeting Rapunzel and we're doing that at rope drop. Sounds like they've either held them all back for no reason or they're in the process of switching things around a bit (making room for Elena of Avalor?). Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Oh, that's weird... does not really affect me but I know a lot of people are looking forward to this with their little princesses... I think that's one of the most popular meet and greets too. (I think @areno79 wanted to see them too?) Maybe they will release it at a later date just like what they did for dining.

I just read they sell 'you are here' esperesso mugs! smaller than the regular mugs! perfect for souvenirs. But I'm thinking whether i want small mugs AND big mugs

Aw, I love Gulf Shores! I used to go every year in high school and a lot of college with a group of friends and one of the girl's parents. SO NICE OF THEM to take on 5 teenage girls! My absolute favorite thing was to go to Lambert's in Foley and catch rolls!

Yep, we love Lambert's! I plan on catching at least a couple of those fabulous rolls! I've been perusing their menu and still can't decide what I want to eat. DH on the other hand knew immediately: chicken livers. Yuck! I told him I ally won't be able to know until I walk in the place and see what I'm in the mood for at the moment. He thinks I'm crazy!

Hi everyone! Seems like fp have mostly been available for everyone's choice dates! I hope the rest of the week goes well for everyone! I'm getting really nervous about booking these! How has availability for fea been? We're only going to Epcot for one day as of right now, so I'll be biting my fingers!
I think I remember reading some posts during ADR time, and there was quite a bit availability for lots of people. I was actually shocked with how little I could find at 180!

Yey 12/4 !!! And maybe I'll be better off lasting the rest of the week without knowing the availability! I guess whether someone says " there ain't nothing nowhere! " or " its free pickings for all!" there's nothing I can do about it!!!

Yes I have all 4 parks. I didn't buy them there because I just totally forgot, and was so bummed. Well DH surprised me by having a set shipped here for Christmas. I about died when I saw the total price with shipping but I love them to pieces.

Yes, I am planning on meeting Rapunzel, but I wasn't going to FP it because we'll already be in MK for EMM. I had heard on another thread that someone else was having issues booking Princess FP+'s as well.

I don't think so? There was a reddit post about that house - but we have to walk through it every day before the ride opens so the story fell apart quickly for me!

I do know the upstairs 'bedroom' had to be themed because they realized you can see into it from Garden Grill and maintenance guys were napping there!
