***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

The tech person cautioned the TA that called for me that the fastpasses I made today might disappear on Thursday. I think that's just a total cya comment though, because I have NOT heard of that happening at all to anyone who was able to book fastpasses early due to a room only reservation. I hope you're right, Lisa, and I'm doing the banana dance come Thursday!
people are reporting lots of availability. there will be a flurry right at 7am tomorrow and 7am thursday (less so I think) but I am not sure a lot of people are booking right at 7am on their check in day for this. only the most obsessed. PLENTY of people stay on disney property for the all inclusive nature without being uber planners. I think I told you all about my friend who did a package, AKL, dining plan... didn't prebook ANY FP+s and ate at Boma EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. EVERY NIGHT! :faint: There are a lot more of those people than us. I think by 30 days stuff will be sold out but 2 days into your window you should be good. again my professional opinion lol

if your kids' disappear come thursday it means they are back into the pool. I'd get up thursday morning and try to make them myself if I were you!

So I read on another board that now (recently changed) you can make just 1 FP for a day at your 60 day and then that day after you do the ride get 2 more in another park. Anyone know if this is true? And how would it work getting a tier 1 in Epcot then booking for like HS or AK? It used to automatically assign you random additional FP's if you didn't choose 3.

Well, I haven't done it yet, but yes it does appear to be true. After you tap your magicband on your ride at Epcot, you can hop onto your phone and begin looking for fastpasses in another park. It wouldn't matter if they're tier 1 or 2. For example, you could book Test Track at Epcot first thing in the morning, then after you tap your magicband at TT you could get on your phone and look for Rockin' Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror at DHS for later that day.

Thanks so much! This is a game changer for us.

LOL, this thread sure moves fast! I just went into a meeting and come back to 2 pages! As @Lisa F said, DDP looks like it'll work for you with the ADRs you have. Just wanted to add that the price for CRT includes tips already so Lisa's calculations per credit works out well.

I just got a BOG dinner on 11/30 which I just started looking for yesterday. Only problem is it's at 9:50pm so basically during Wishes. Guess I'll keep looking, but at least my foot is in the door!
Woohoooo!!!! I'm sure something else will pop up!

I just want to add that the only caveat to this is that you cannot just book one Tier 1 FP in Epcot and after you use it try to book another Tier 1. You have to use, or let expire, those two Tier 2 FPs before getting another Tier 1. Seems like you were asking about something different, but I think this little tidbit can be repeated in case someone didn't know.

oh yes! not having to tip is a good thing! I forgot that.

but you CAN book a tier 1 in Epcot and then a Tier 1 in HS, right? just not in the same park. I don't know the answer to that lol.

Yep I think so! People are going to start dropping their Plan Ds and Plan Cs soon I hope. :rotfl:

I have 5 restaurant pages I just keep open and clicking Search Times on every so often. I still need more than that, but this is about all I can handle at once.

Well I don't know is my answer. But I think so. Good question!

So now that we've decided to go down a day early, what do we think the chances are of some resort availability opening up? I need to add 12/3 to my existing All Star Music reservation, but so far no luck. Movies and Sports have a preferred room available that night, but I think I'm gonna hold out as long as possible to see if I can just add onto my existing stay so we don't have to move. Plus, if we have to move, I'm thinking we'll just get a cheap off site room for that night if we have to pack back up anyway.

I added a day to the beginning and even if I COULD get a room at BWV it would have completely messed up my DxDDP plans by giving me another 3 TS each to deal with. My plan only added one meal so you can see the problem.

PLUS I am already planning another split stay so this is my packing plan:
3 bags:
1 large duffel bag (vera bradley size) with toiletries, one set of pjs and one change of clothes for both of us (basically an overnight bag).
1 suitcase with clothing for first half of the trip
1 suitcase with clothing for second half of the trip

night 1 AKL: open only overnight bag, repack it when ready to go
night 2 BWV: unpack suitcase 1 into drawers, repack dirty clothes into it as I go. unpack toiletries.
night 6 Poly: repack toiletries, unpack suitcase 2 into drawers, repack dirty clothes into it as I go.
this should minimize the packing thing.

If I didn't have DVC points I would have stayed off site.

Completely random thought.. But does anyone know exactly why RoL has been soooo delayed? Just technical difficulties? I can see if Disney has never done a show like this before, but then again, maybe it's so new and fascinating they really haven't?

That is pretty genius. I typically pack my toiletries in a separate small bag anyway (when we're driving), so if I packed a small overnight bag for the both of us just for that one night, we could leave the big suitcases in the car for the night and just get them out once we got to ASMu.
