***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

It's from Ebay - took 3 weeks to arrive from China but so worth the $13 :D
I just passed on a bunch of eevee plushes from china, just afraid it won't get here on time and I won't be able to find something quickly... I paid twice as much but the seller had an actual photo and is in california so should be here in a week or two (estimated time is 9/28-10/12). twice as much = $8 vs. $4 so I think I can handle it lol.

Hmm... maybe I should ask my 9yo if he wants to be a Pokemon trainer! That seems easy (and cheap) enough. Dd8 wants to be a fairy or a mermaid. We already have a pair of fairy/butterfly wings and she has a wand to match, so I'm thinking I'll push her that direction. I'll need to figure out a dress though. :confused3 One year, my older dd went as a snow princess and I bought her Christmas dress early so she could wear it as part of her Halloween costume. It worked pretty well. This was before the Frozen sisters, btw. ;)

I just bought a $4 Raichu from china today too - figured I can put it in his stocking and even if it's junky he will love it. He got a cheapo charmander from Dave and Busters and loves the ugly thing!

I'm all for saving money and incorporating reusable items for halloween costumes! I told DS after halloween he can wear the hat and jacket all he wants :)

I ordered this one - I spent a lot of time mulling over reviews because a lot of the same item picture were NOT the same. A lot of them were listed as flannel, or other material. this is exactly as pictured, but it's a tad big on my almost 3yo at the smallest size...

Thanks!! I'll get DH to look at it tonight! He can dress up as the pokemon trainer! Hahahahaha!

it is. you can probably make the hat if you find a cheapie blank but I have limited stores here so will buy it. But you can buy tons of patches on etsy and patch up whatever. any hoodie would work. the actual ASH costumes can be a bit pricey but you can find the parts elsewhere. i got him a plush poke ball at the game stop.

I also saw plush pokeballs at Target! Mine was from Barnes and Noble since I had an old gift card with some money on it :)

And the ash costumes I looked at in stores were so cheaply made. For a few bucks more I got all the components at a much better quality. Thanks to Kohls discounts haha!

I got it for him because the bf's kids got their full costumes at the halloween store and i could tell he was kind of bummed he had nothing so we sat while they were in there and shopped online and then we found the pokeball at game stop so we bought it :)

he doesn't even want to be ash, he just wants to be his own character who is a pokemon trainer and his "buddy" is eevee. I may still wear the pikachu hat.

the most expensive component was the $15 hoodie but like I said, he can wear that other times so I am good with that!

You can make her a tutu super easy. You can cut strips of tulle and knot it on a belt even (here is an easy way http://www.diynetwork.com/how-to/make-and-decorate/crafts/how-to-make-a-no-sew-tutu-skirt). She can wear that with leggings for warmth and a long sleeve shirt--easy peasy!
