***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

lol dual income, no kids. i just like now "dink" sounds.

it is a different life than single working mother of special needs child but hey, we are going to disney so it's all good! slammed at work right now, will opinion later!
This is so funny, and I cannot wait to use this new nickname for my sister!:D

Question! DO I have to make our whole groups FP's in the same park? Or can we make 4 of ours in, say, Epcot and 2 of ours in HS?

One last question for someone who has a season pass: What SDFP have been available at AK mid day?

So is everyone just kinda hanging around like a kid before Christmas waiting for fp day? Anyone still have some spiffing up to do with their plans before then? I feel like there's not much more I can control, and this waiting is just making me second guess things! what most concerns me now is just park hour changes with any ppo breakfasts....which again is just something I can't control. I've got to just let it goooo!:music:

I believe all in the same park. :)

I don't think that makes sense. Part of the group can go to one park and the other group can go to the other park. Each person must have all their fastpasses in one park, but if my husband and I want to go to different parks on one day, I could make AK fastpasses and he could make MK fastpasses, or whatever. I don't think the entire group has to be together.

Do you have a PPO for MK? From what I have heard, it's usually MK where park hours become earlier

Wondering what you think :) Is under the sea one of those rides we can bypass? ( I have 4 and 6 yr old girls) trying decide which to do ; meet Ariel at her grotto or this ride :)

There's quite a few things I'm iffy on with it just being us 2 adults. But I want to try to give everything a chance once! Well, almost everything.

Opinion away my dear! *googles what DINKS means* I'm always learning something on the disboards!

Kind of off the Disney topic, but have you done much research/planning for Universal yet? I was on the Universal board last night and I learned a lot! I didn't know you can't take bags on a lot of rides, and on a select few you can't even have anything in your pockets. That information will probably entice me to pack lightly on our Universal days.

I regularly visit those boards and learn a bit from the lovely ladies there :) (I find the ones who know the most about Universal are all ladies as opposed to the men of DIS WDW boards :P)
I think it basically is recommended to pack light but there are rides wherein you cannot take anything at all... I think RRR is one of them. Either way, you will be going to lockers once in a while and those are an unavoidable hassle. I don't think I'm going to really plan too much for Universal but probably will look for info on things for my 2 year old. It's pretty laid back there especially with dining. You also have EP (plus it's low season) so except for HP stuff, you're pretty much ok with any wait times. :)

EDIT: there is a snack thread going slowly over there that has a bit of good info (pink donut and butterbeer ice cream... mmmm...)

-Me and DH are going as DINKS :bitelip:
-We've done Turtle Talk with Crush before, it was cute but I don't think I necessarily would wait for it.
-I am planning on seeing Ariel and doing Journey Under the Sea. But, I'm a huge Little Mermaid fan!
-Thanks for the tip about Universal! I have done literally NO planning for our day there. I still need to figure out what I'm doing there. I should go do some research on the Universal boards. I am ALL about snacks!

This would be especially useful if traveling with small children and utilizing rider swap.

Yes for crystal palace. I really want to have breakfast there rather than another meal because we like big breakfasts :) but I'd be disappointed to lose out on the better time for rides. Pooh is a priority for us, too. So I don't want to feel rushed. But it is what it is. pooh:

I know what you mean. I have a PPO for this too. This is one of our few repeats from last trip besides BOG. It's hard to predict for PPO but fingers crossed. :)

Just catching up...again...
I saw some talk about rides. Obviously every child is different. In 2014 my 2 year old daughter sat on all the rides with no fear. @Candycane83 she sat on Spaceship Earth just fine. Then in 2015 (she was almost 3) she and my 7yo dd were both nervous about HM but rode it anyways, with their eyes closed. Haha
Now this trip they are both excited to go on HM! They both even say they want to ride Tower of Terror. I'm so excited to ride things and stay in lines as a family and not split up.
Everybody here (that needs to know) knows about child swap, right?
