Too early for that yet. The opening date is only tentative so if it could change.

@Candycane83 snd anyone else with a ppo Akershus breakfast ( I think @Mintycake maybe?) are you thinking chances are good of getting a Fea fp? I honestly didn't even think twice about it until now, but in the event that I cannot book a time for the one day we're there, do you think the ppo breakfast will allow us to ride fea with a pretty minimal wait? I read the threads back when it first opened, but I haven't followed them in months.

I have a PPO on 12/7 and will try to ride it then. Lots of people has had success with it but I also see reports of it breaking down. I would still try for an FP just in case and modify if you don't want to ride it again

we are going first week of december (well I guess that is kind of a duh, sorry) and with entertainment options ending so early in HS (or at least we are assuming so with F! currently scheduled at 7pm and them running SWaGS 15 minutes behind it right now) and AK only planning to be open until 7 right now it makes it hard to fit that show in with any reasonable dinner reservation. I am being a bit of a baby and stamping my feet wanting there to be a show at 8pm or later so I can see it after my CA Grill dinner at 5pm. is that too much to ask? lol. My fear is that first week of december they will run it at 5:30 and 7 and be done for the night (5:30 is sunset). I'm kind of hoping that with it being a new show and first two weeks of december sandwiched in between busier times that there will be a later show. 8pm would be ideal. I would even blow my entire day of FP+ for it!

That's good the hear. A lot of us are worried about ROL interfering with our 5 or 5:30 dinners and we're hoping they extend park hours even later than 7!

Oh boy...oh boy!!!
October is the best month! I have 3 nights flexible enough to add a night at AK! 11/27, 12/2 and 12/4.

@rteetz info makes me hopeful. I think you would be able to make it, we just have to be a little more patient... SWaGS schedule is out for the first week of November so we have a month to be patient for that, ROL and FPs!!! So much to look forward to

It depends on how much they extend the park hours. My guess and this is only a guess you could see a 6:00 and 8:00 show or maybe 6:30 and 8:30. I don't think the park stays open any later than 9 in the winter but then moves back to a 10-11PM close in the summer.

My guess would be park hours are extended to 8 or 9 in the winter with rivers of light. Then in the summer 10-11.

With all this info and scoring my last ADR (maybe not if ROL dining packages are released), I seriously need to come up with a better formulated plan! I hope my boss shows up tomorrow so I don't have to hold the fort myself and concentrate on planning

Oh cr*p. Now I have to figure out if we're going to do ROL or not. I had a Tusker House PPO breakfast booked for our last day, thinking I might be able to convert it to a ROL pkg (through the drop and pick it up again trick that has worked for F! pkgs in the past) but now we're kind of settled on doing MK our last day. Such a tough call! Hmm... maybe we can use a fastpass on it and see it Saturday. We were planning to rope drop AK emh that day so it would make for a REALLY long day, but I would only be giving up an afternoon/evening at Hollywood Studios so it could work. I have a Boma ADR at 10:55 I was planning to drop, but maybe that would make a nice break.

Dh is NOT going to like having to consider switching things around at this point.

You don't have to make them under 3. the only reason people do that is so that they can add them to their hotel reservations without charge and get the free magic bands. I made my phantoms the same age (I think for over 18 you don't have to say age) and even though I don't think it really matters, I would probably change their age to adult just to be consistent. you have nothing to gain by making littles.

Thank you for the heads up! I think it's too much of a pain to add anyone, even phantoms, to my hotel res...so I'll just keep them as is and change their ages

Does it have to be on 12/5?? I have an ADR on 12/4 at 4:20 that's a F! package at H&V.

Yeah, I thought I was bummed too. REALLY hoping they have later shows otherwise I don't think there are any nights I can make it without cancelling an ADR somewhere
