***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

OK....I've been trying to stay up with this thread, but you guys are BUSY!!! Just got my mom moved into assisted living - past 3 weeks have been a nightmare! My mom's husband passed away and his cousins went into the house and stole all my mom's credit cards / debit cards, computer and took every piece of paperwork they could find - so you can imagine the fun my sisters and I have had trying to piece the puzzle together as my mom is almost 90 and her memory isn't so great.

I'm now almost 100 pages back! So....going to do it backwards as I'm afraid I will have missed something timely if I keep trying to catch up from where I was! Can't believe our FP+ day is so quickly approaching!
I am so sorry about this. Family can be crazy. I hope you can relax after such a fiasco.

@BDFmom I'm clicking my secret "LIKE x 1 million" button for that picture! Too cute for words!!

@rasadkowski and @SilSprBea Super cool how that solution all worked out!! YAY! :)

@jillyh I'm very sorry you are having to deal with this on top of your grieving and what you've been through already. Wishing you strength and resolve.

@JamieOak I kinda look at TP reservation finder as akin to my assistant. I do the majority of the work and it assists me in my goal. :) They just don't search nearly as much as I do, but they did help me x2 so I still love them! :) Good luck getting your BOG!!

Does anyone have any tips about EPCOT storytellers? Which ones are must dos? How would you make a plan of attack for this? Thinking about doing this one afternoon/ evening...

We have the better part of a day dedicated to just the WS. Ideally, I'd love to see ALL of the storytellers!! Realistically, I'll figure out the MUSTS for us first (Japan, France, Norway and UK are leading the pack at the moment but I need to research more), then add whatever else we can based on timing I guess? We have ADRs in Mexico and Japan, and want to get a treat at the French bakery, so we'll be moving through clockwise. Hard to really know how much time to plan for each country. I really do love your picture with every Santa idea and am definitely planing on that. I feel like the tricky part is timing. :scratchin Lol...I'm sure that's stating the obvious! lol

@pigletgirl Looking forward to that binder! :thumbsup2 (Did you watch Friends by chance? Really organized binders remind me of Monica! lol)

Regrettably, I know I've missed responding to so many great posts by so many great members. :rainbow: I can't keep up with the greatness!! lol (sure is fun trying! ;) )

I just looked at timing and it's definitely impossible to do in one day... Some are only in the afternoon I think but we would probably get a better picture once the schedule is out (which is only 2 weeks ahead I think). I'm thinking now I need more time in EPCOT and may need to rearrange again! :rolleyes1:badpc: Such fun planning! I wonder if I should just opt out of going to AK a second night even if ROL does get released... cancel HDDR and eat somewhere at EPCOT... :confused3 By the way, anyone knows how to get a picture with the santas? Selfie with Santa in the background?

......hmmmm.. Sounds like you've been hanging around me too much!:confused3:badpc::D

LOL....I SO feel your pain!! Making decisions and choosing just feels impossible sometimes. o_O :yo-yo: Here's what I decided. Last trip, we missed most of Epcot and it was still the best vacation ever!! So I figure this time, if we can hit our own personal highlights, it's going to be fabulous. I want to do EVERYTHING so much, but without at least a month (or moving to Orlando and working for Disney!! haha) we know we can't. So I'm focusing on the "what we get to do stuff" versus the "but we can't fit that in!" stuff. :-) It's the only way I can stop changing plans every other day and feeling like a crazy person! lol :hippie:

Oh geez I didn't even know about storytellers! I really need more Epcot time.

I have a question about HS, which I realize is all speculation until the schedule finally comes out. When HS is open late (2 PM EMHs), which will be on our Fridays it looks like, do you think there will be an opportunity to see both the SW fireworks and F! in the same night on that day? I'm only planning 1 day in HS, so if I can't see them both on that 1 day with EMHs....should I prioritize and only plan to see one (SW or F!), or should I tentatively plan to need 2 nights at HS?

I realized I need more Epcot time yesterday when I went through all the restaurants and 6 TS, 3 QS, and 7 snack places somehow made it on to my "must do" list. popcorn:::drinking1:confused3

My list for snacks at Epcot is about as much or more :scared1:

I just started looking for a pre-party dinner at BOG for our MK day before we hop over to Epcot for PM EMHs. I think I'll switch that now to looking for a dinner at Epcot. Actually maybe we should eat dinner in Epcot every night except the two late nights at MK.

I may have asked this before, but being whole-heartedly Team Epcot, I really am dying to know about the changes there..... I really want to spend most of our one full day at the ws. But, I know we will go see joy/ sadness/ baymax too :) overall, how are the other experiences? (Aside from soarin , Tt, imagination...all the other rides)....I'm talking about all of those innovation and learning stations (a color one?) and buildings that I think are located there in the center? Worth doing? Or can skip completely?

Wish I could answer, but I'm also curious. I have gone through all the rides, shows, eateries. But I still see things on the map that I don't know what they are.

I'd actually really like to know this too. @Wood Nymph mentioned mission space has a play area at the exit and Test Track has a showroom. She also said there are play areas inside innovations but not sure which ones are still there and which ones have been pulled off.

I'm thinking about cancelling HDDR and replace it with something at EPCOT. I thought of AK at first but now I'm leaning towards EPCOT more... on a Saturday night though, I'm worried about how crowded it would be... :confused3

I already cancelled my HDDR, actually that was due to switching all my days up. But I've decided not to reschedule because it takes up too much time when we could be in the parks. And with all this wonderful stuff I'm finding out about at Epcot, I don't think we'll be lacking for late night entertainment! Especially since we'll be staying at the BW.

I also think I would rather spend that $128 from HDDR at Le Cellier for one signature meal instead. But I'm not sure how hard that'll be to find an ADR for.

I agree, the main reason why I'm thinking of letting go of HDDR is because of how much time it takes. It's mostly because I'm not sure my 2 year old will be entertained for so long. I was thinking of Le Cellier since it's inside the park... but was a little worried because of how cramped people say it is in there... I have Garden Grill, Coral Reef and Biergarten in my plans already. I have Flying Fish as well... Hmmm...

I agree, the time was the main factor for me too. Plus I watched a video of it and I'm not even sure it will keep our attention as 2 young adults.

I didn't have time to look at reviews yet, just menus and prices. Flying Fish could be an option for us also as a signature. I did watch the review video a little while back when it reopened. I think I want to get at least 1 signature meal in there.
