***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

How about being talked into a different option? Could you fit a small tabletop tree into your suitcase? Bring a strand of lights. If you don't have a lot of room for ornaments, go to Home Depot (I think that's the right place) and pick up some Mickey head silhouette paint chips. Cut them out and hang them on the tree. Hit up the craft stores to look at tiny tree options and use the weekly 40% off one item coupon.

That is a great idea. If we were going to be there at actual Christmas I would do that. We'll be all decorated at home already anyway, and will only be at Disney the first week of December. My fixation with the Disney floral tree was just that I've always thought they were so cute and I liked the idea of them delivering it to the room and thought it would be a great souvenir. You can take it home with you. But now that we are actually going during the holidays, I am realizing I'm just not feeling it after all this time of wanting one. So, it's kind of the death of a dream. I really have so much Christmas stuff, I have no room in the house for the 4foot tree. And I'm not so crazy about the little one this year. Add in the price tag and never mind.

Amorette's!!!! I definitely want to try that place at Disney Springs! everything looks sooo good....

I've heard that the caramel popcorn at karamell kuche keeps well in a ziplock bag. Also, treat's from goody's and main street confectionery... Not sure what else but am interested since I would have 24 snack credits!

I definitely want to try something at Amorette's. Want to check out the Ganachery too. Should be fun!

I've lost track of what everyone wanted. Can we add it to this spreadsheet again so I can look and grab if I find something?

This. Is. Genius.

I'm hoping to be able to release some that might help others, if I can get ones I'm looking for to replace them! Great idea! I added 2 "Needed" ADR's, but my party is big :(, and I'm not the most techavvy person, so I'm not sure if it saved or if I was supposed to save it manually, etc. Can someone check and look for tacboze under the "Needed" side?

Oh, also...I'll be searching for these "needed" ones for everyone as well!! Hopefully, with this many eyes on it...we can grab these for each other and transfer them successfully!

They are there :-)

Sounds weird but I really want to try the shaved ice in Japan with condensed milk (kagori) at epcot and caramel apples in Germany! Also wishing they still had jalapeño pretzels I heard so much about. Creme Brule in France :)

Not weird. Shaved ice with condensed cream is incredible. it's also great with ice cream in the middle, shave ice on top and the condensed cream too. It's amazing!

I had a wierd ADR thing happen today. When I booked the fantasmic lunch earlier it gave me a wierd internal error ecreen. Hit refresh and it seemed to go through. Now I can't modify the reservation. When I tried to do so to adjust the time with the non fantastic lunch I dropped, it gives me an error that says to call because my reservation has already begun. I called Disney and they had no idea. They can see the reservation and its there. Isn't that odd? This happen to anyone else? I've never not been able to modify an ADR.

That is weird. But I guess if the CM can see it, maybe it's a temp glitch on your side. The MDE app is wonky...I've had to delete and reinstall it a couple of times.

You guys! My co-worker just booked a last minute trip for her son's 4th birthday later this month. She came to me today and we've been planning. She has no clue about anything, bless her heart! They are staying for three nights at All-Star Music and only spending one day at Magic Kingdom and one day at Blizzard Beach. I am trying to help her plan and just made her Fastpass Plus reservations....gave me some practice for my trip as I had never seen the screens.

It amazes me how much people don't know about the World! She didn't know what Magical Express was or why she got it. She thought Epcot was called Eptock. Boy, do I have a job on my hands! Love her to death though!

It amazes me how little people know about Disney World as well. I remember on one of our trips, we were in line waiting and I started chatting with a family next to me. They thought you had to pay to use the monorail! :sad2: I don't understand how people can book a vacation somewhere and just not do any research...but then there are people like us who are uberplanners!!

Ooohhh, we are really wanting the Lego Disney Castle here! Have you put it together yet. It's awesome!
Yeah, I'm definitely decided on no WDW in rom tree. They do pack it up for you and mail it home. (For another fee.)

No, I haven't opened it yet. I have several of the big buildings, the carousel, and a couple of the larger SW ones put together (but not the Death Star). Love putting them together over the winter holidays.

I had the special Universal ticket offer code (buy 1 ticket, get 2 days free) in my old email account. Good thing I checked today, because the code expires tomorrow!

Checked with dh and he can take an extra 2 days off work to extend our trip so we can use those free tickets. Next decision: Where are we going to stay for those 2 extra nights? No availability at CBR, but I think I'd prefer to be very close to Universal those days. I'd really like to try to keep the extension as inexpensive as possible. Universal hotel rates ranges from $1299 to $304 per night, plus a $22 per night parking fee. There's a Drury hotel 1 mile from Universal that's a preferred partner hotel. They have a free shuttle to the park. I love Drury hotels: free hot breakfast, free Kickback dinner every night with adult beverages (recent expansion makes this enough to consider a dinner), no parking fee. With my AAA discount, I can get a room at the Drury for only $103. Not bad!

I've got a list of various options and prices that I'll go over with dh tonight after he gets home from work.

@TiggerManiac
That Drury is AWESOME!
Stayed there in January for 4 days. Easy access to Universal. Can't really walk but they have a shuttle. We took cab for about $10 or drove ourselves, I think. Breakfast buffet and big spread in the evening with free drinks. We really didn't use at night but they had hot dogs, chips, chili, sodas, alcohol. People making a full meal of it. Room nice.

PM if you have questions

I love the Drury chain and stay there whenever I can. I also like the fact that it's still a family-owned business. Glad to hear first-hand that this particular one is nice. :)

The Google spreadsheet automatically saves all changes. I can hardly believe Google provides this service totally for free! I use it for all sorts of things.
It's great, and thanks for setting it up! I wish there was a way to pin it at the top or something. I just try to remember what page I last saw it on to go back and check it!

I know most of us follow yulilin's Star Wars thread but did you guys see it's not everyday anymore? 4x a week... Wonder if this would continue... Hopefully it continues for Saturday :)
