***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Can I just say I love this thread and how amazing everyone on it is? Thank you everybody for your kind words and encouragement.

I actually had nightmares last night that I couldn't make my ADRS. The system is very similar to when we have to register our kids with programs run by our city - you have to be up and on the system at 7am (either online or phone) and you have to keep hitting refresh - only to be shut out of the programs you really want (and unlike Disney, you can go on a waiting list but I can tell you spots NEVER open). You have to enter in a ridiculous long code for the program and if you screw up you burn precious seconds. LOL I dreamed we had to do that for ADRS!

@LBlovesM&WDW I made my daughter part of the planning and she actually wanted to go to Akershus vs CRT (due to the food). But last night (in my anxiety) I talked to her and said "What's the number 1 thing for you at Disney to do? The one thing that is more important than anything?" I'm expecting to hear meet A&E, Princess meal, etc. She said "I want to go to the kids club".
So we can book that on the phone at 180 days I'm guessing? Anyone have experience with Lilo's playhouse and Sandcastle club? She wants to do this. I'm thinking....DATE NIGHT! Now I have to figure out what ADRs I want for that too! Kids, eh?

oh yeah and a word about Touring Plans - I think if you're a past member and your membership is not up to date you can still use the reservation finder tool for free. But since I've never signed up for it, I think I'll have to sign up for a membership. Oh well it's not that pricey....and there's a discount code for 20% off. I think that's well worth it if I need to use it.

@Mintycake you can sign up for free. It took me a bit to find it but it'll say basic access beside the option to pay for a year! I'd post a screenshot but I unfortunately do not know how to do that! Maybe someone else can direct you better. I'm glad you're not as stressed about ADRs anymore and I can relate to the kids programs! It's like that for here too and I think some ppl have lined up overnight for them instead of using the computer...

I was able to make ADRs this morning! I was actually pretty nervous after reading how hard it's been for everyone. I'm actually pretty happy with what I got.

11/29: Crystal Palace 10:00a
11/30: 50s Prime Time 3:45p - no more lunch??? trying to change my sister's mind about this one
12/1: Biergarten 8:00p
12/2: Tusker House 8:00a & Cape May 8:00p
12/3: Be Our Guest 8:00a & Ohana 5:30p
12/4: Akershus 1:25p - not sure about having lunch here, may change

Overall, super excited about BOG, Ohana and Tusker. Now to plan FP+

I was surprised about the operating hours of 50's Primetime as well!

ditto! I also want to eat at off times (later breakfast, no ppo, and early dinner) so hoping I have success. otherwise will have to be super flexible!

I was mostly successful this morning. The best part was that the website worked well for a whole hour!

I was able to get Minnie's Holiday Dine by splitting my group into 4 and 2 (used dh's account to make the reservation for 2) but had to take them at 3:30 and 3:35 on 12/1. Definitely earlier than I would like! I've got a reservation finder set up at touring plans to see if I can get something later.

I also couldn't get anything for breakfast at Garden Grill on 11/30. I had wanted a 10:30 (or whatever their latest breakfast seating is). Again, I set up a finder at touring plans, so hopefully I'll get one sooner or later.

Otherwise it wasn't too difficult. Glad to move on to the next phase: changing everything every other week until we go!

I snagged my Narcoossee's reservation for our first on-site evening! Yay!

Now to get Akershus for 2 for dinner on either Nov 28 or 29 and to get 8:00 am BOG for Nov 27. (We want to do the 9:30 Keys to the Kingdom Tour that day.

@Mintycake Yes, I'll be happy to coordinate transferring the 12/4 8:00 am BOG to you if I'm able to snag it for 11/27 instead. It's just for 2 people. Is that okay? I've made a note to PM you if I can swap.

I'm on free dining for 11/28-12/7. My ADR date is just a few hours away!

Oh ok, I didn't realize it was going on that week...now I'm more nervous and will definitely make sure to not oversleep on my 180 day!lol

I didn't tell my son about Lilo's Playhouse (we stayed on opposite side of resort so only passed it once on way to TTC, he didn't even notice), but I heard from other people there that their kids loved it!

Nope, F! hasn't been released past November yet. I'm actually hoping I'll be able to get a better time when they do release those packages. As of now, they showed Hollywood & Vine reservations only through 5:30 or something, which I thought was extremely EARLY to be closing! Hopefully they'll release the full December schedule soon and maybe that'll help straighten things out at DHS. It was kinda weird this morning.

I don't think so. I'll go check again though.

I hate the guessing game but I can't resist-

If (hopefully!!) Star Wars fireworks are going on at that time, would they be after F!?

yes. i think no fireworks are announced due to the fact that it is rolling out in june?

I feel like we're waiting for so many things... F! schedule/ dining package, ROL?? dining package, DHS fireworks, hours... and the list goes on. I sure hope they release some of the info soon at least... I saw from another thread that the TA schedule might get released next week. Not sure how accurate that is though.

TA calendars are typically updated on the Friday of the second week of the month or the following Monday, so I agree that we should see it by then, which would be a WHOLE MONTH late! In fact, they should be releasing January's calendar by the end of next week. Ugh! My TA said she thought we might see the December calendar post today, but it's hard to say I guess. I'd love for it to become available as I'm very anxious to see Josh's crowd calendar and see if I picked wisely!

My travel agent just told me that their systems have been a nightmare all day... So we're hoping that means they are doing some kind of update!
