I had a brother that was petrified of fireworks when he was young, and actually, fireworks are pretty scary. I have a SIL that served several tours in Irag and Afghanistan and he can tolerate fireworks---mostly he he guts it out for the family. I really empathize, and if I saw anyone with ear plugs/muffs I certainly wouldn't judge--in fact, I'm all in favor of protecting the hearing of young children.
What about watching the fireworks from the beach at Poly or a restaurant? Would that help?
I'm still trying to decide on
MVMCP. I love the parade but I'm not sure it is worth the expense this time around.
And I am having a really hard time finalizing dining plans. We are staying at BWV for the first part of our vacation so I am wanting to try some Boardwalk area places that we haven't before--like Yachtsman, Flying Fish, Captains Grille and maybe Beaches n Cream. Any recommendations anyone?
