I also wanted to post one last reminder about our Secret Santa. Since some people are leaving for their trips fairly soon, and we also have the Thanksgiving craziness coming up, I want to make sure everyone has time to get their ornament, mail it, and all that jazz. So my plan is to run the Secret Santa list creator tomorrow morning. If you have not already given me your info or updated the spreadsheet on FB, please add it or PM/FB message me by tomorrow morning! I need name, address, and email address!

Reminder: We will be doing this as an ornament exchange, so each person will mail an ornament to their selected Secret Santa buddy, which I will generate from an online tool. No names, addresses, or email addresses will be posted publicly ANYWHERE. All communications are via PM/FB message/our Closed FB group/email.

Question! @Mal6586 brought up a great question about this. What should be our $$ cap on the ornament? I know before Lisa F came up with the ornament idea someone had suggested $5-$10 plus shipping. What do people think? Should we cap it at $10? Or another amount? Tell me your thoughts!

Can't wait to try out PizzeRizzo in just a couple weeks! It opens this Friday so I'll be anxious to see more photos of the inside. I love the looks of the balcony seating and we should have fantastic weather for sitting outside!

Yeah, that's what has been coming up in the fb discussion too. I think it can be kind of hard to find a decent ornament for no more than $10 without it being cheapo quality.

Yeah, our work ornament exchange stipulations are $10-$15. I'm good with that for this exchange too if everybody else is.

When should we target for shipping to our pals? Not to create more work, but should we add our travel dates so that our secret santa not ship for arrival during the time we'll be away? Nothing says "break into my house because I'm away" more than stacked packages on the front door, LOL!

I picked up a 12:45 skipper canteen on my arrival day in my secondary account and really leaning toward that but wanted to swap with my primary account... so i dropped SC in secondary account and picked it up by dropping LTT in my primary account but now the 1pm LTT is not showing up in secondary account. um. ACK? that may make my decision for me! I have wanted to try SC for a while but nothing kiddo will eat... with the latest menu changes and "classic mac and cheese" and "crispy chicken" I think I could get him fed. Since they share the kitchen with LTT it might end up being the exact same meal for him if he picks mac and cheese - I can't imagine they make multiple kinds for the kids right in the same kitchen. and then there is this, with chocolate cake with caramel lava and it comes with the kids meal! I think kid would be super happy. we were going to share the ooey gooey toffee cake but I will survive with a kungaloosh.

Wow that looks nice. I looked at SC's menu a while back and didn't think it would fit our tastes. It looks like a really neat place.

This is an excellent point! I have updated the spreadsheet with a column for trip dates. Participants can either update the spreadsheet themselves via FB or PM/FB message me their dates.

I am also putting a note in the top of the spreadsheet that we are setting the budget at $10-$15.

If you are not on FB I can PM you the link to the spreadsheet. I am not posting it here as we are not posting anyone's personal info in a public place. Just PM me if you need the link.

Wow - I've been reading the Dis boards for years and never noticed these threads until now! Anyway, DH and I are heading to WDW for a long weekend 12/2-12/5 for one last trip before our AP's run out. Only thing I haven't been able to book is the Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam party on 12/3. Anyone think it's worth stalking for openings or is it a lost cause?

Are you still looking for the JBJB party? I'm very close to cancelling and wanted to give you a heads up just in case.

That sounds yummy, and looks cool...but I wish they would change the lava color to something less blood-like.

haha it's just caramel. looks like raspberry sauce to me! but not sure kiddo would love that. blood caramel yes. and the mac and cheese is apparently white and creamy, his favorite. and I lost my LTT ADR. I'm wondering if they are holding back ADRs as people drop them because they have gotten so far behind with the menu change, I think people are not turning over tables as quickly. So I guess I'm on this course. I totally oversold the ooey gooey toffee cake to kiddo so now I am going to have to sell this place lol.

So I have everyone for the JBJB party... we would be 29 people. If @Iowamomof4 cancels, it will be 23. @Talby you would be 1 adult and 2 'kids' right?
