Happy Thursday! Today is actually my 'Friday' since I took tomorrow off to go with my fam to visit some family friends. Should be a crazy busy day though!

I tested the glow-in-the-dark feature of my magic band decal from MagicYourBand.com last night, and it definitely glows!

Since the only kind of news I really want to read right now is Disney news, hey look, there's refillable mug news! Honestly, I think it's a great idea to have both options. NICE STUFF! I love jewelry and there is a Charming Charlie's right across the street from my office, but I have never been there. I subconsciously know that it will be a bad for my wallet!

I'm going to be evil and tell you that you should go! Lol. I love that store so much. And with the Charm Club membership (free) you get points for all your purchases and earn Loyalty Reward vouchers. Such a great store!

I started hearing yesterday that we might have snow on the ground before Thanksgiving. This only makes me happy because it will make Florida that much more appealing! Otherwise it also means I'll have to turn the furnace on sometime in the next week or two. I knew it was coming, but I've been enjoying this weather so much. I don't think we've ever made it this long without turning on the heat before!

Ok talk to me about SDFP. I was supposed to get my friends old disney cards from her trip last year but she's been impossible to naIL down. I am trying not to harass her but I'm getting nervous I won't get these cards (she's extremely busy ). What are my options? Can I buy extra mbs at disney and not link to my profile? Can I get them at my Resort?

My understanding is they MUST be linked to a profile in order to use them. Maybe you could set up phantoms before you go, then buy the MB's and link them to the phantoms. Just decline if they offer to link the MagicBands for you! lol

It's like a semi-Friday for me. Technically my Friday in the office, but I have to drive down to Jackson tonight and go to a meeting tomorrow, so still work just not my normal work. On the bright side, I get to stay with my cousin who lives down there who is literally about to pop with her second baby. I'm not gonna lie, I packed an extra set of clothes just in case anything exciting happens and I have a shot at staying to see the new baby!

Yes, buy extra set of MB and when you buy it, make sure to tell them you do not want it linked to your profile. Then link them to phantoms yourself.

Bummer! Did the smudges come off or are they permanent? I'm a little peeved at the nicks in my bands.

My smudges didn't come off. But it's OK, after 1 day of us wearing them I'm sure they'll have smudges and nicks on their own. I was annoyed at first but now I'm trying really hard to put all things in my life in perspective!

Question about Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs. We plan on eating their on Friday 12/9 after our MK day. We are taking the boat over from POR that drops you by the Rainforest Cafe. I see there are two over there-- an express at the main Wolfgang Puck and one at the Marketplace. I'm thinking we want the one by the Marketplace because it will (1) be closer to where we get dropped off, and (2) is more like a sit down. From what I can tell from the menus on Disney, the other one is more grab and go. Is that correct from what you guys have experienced or can tell from the websites? I haven't been to Disney Springs in over 6 years when it was still Downtown Disney and we didn't eat there.

@Lisa F or anyone else who has two MDE's (or maybe you don't, Lisa?), I was about to create a second MDE to give myself the option of adding MB's for SDFP if I want (I do have one MB I could link right now and might purchase more later). Since we already have 6 of us, I'd rather relegate the phantoms to their own MDE. Anyway, I went to set it up and couldn't decide whether to use my real name on the account or not. I know I need a different email, but is there any chance they'll try to merge the MDE accounts if they see one person on two accounts? I had myself convinced to make it a fake name, but then I worried I'd regret it in the future (like what if my fake MDE account receives a PIN code?). Thoughts?

What about making one under your married name and one under your maiden name? Same first name-- that would work with a pin code for sure! I have two MDE's but one is under my husbands name and one is under my name.

Our second set of bands came yesterday. The biggest difference even from last year is that they're much more flexible. They're more comfortable too.

I set up a second MDE using another email address, but put my husband'a name. That way if there was a pin code sent, we could still use it

I agree. The Marketplace WGP Express is the one we always go to, and it's one of our favorite places to eat!
