whelp, I'm just here ot let you all know, I completely blew my souvenir budget.

I have a little bit of a purse addiction... so I had set aside $300 to buy myself a nice Dooney purse at WDW when I was there.

Well Harvey's, who also makes disney purses (out of seatbelts) came out with a new nightmare before christmas release on Halloween... I already had the "jack" lola based on jack and they were doing a highly limited release (sold out literally in 2 minutes) of a "Sally" lola in a more muted color scheme (called "midnight Sally") than their previous Sally releases (I have a bow made from some of the belting from the previous sally release on my jack). So this happened. yes I blew my souvenir wad a month before even going to Disney. sorrynotsorry

I read your post and liked it before I could see the pictures. Had to view it on my phone for some reason. So I was intrigued when you said they are made out of seat belts and I had to make sure to come check out the pic. Those are awesome! I really like the colored one, and I normally go for plain brown or black purses.

The decals were bought on Etsy. The swirly parts were from TiffysCraftCreations and the mickey heads were from GoCrazyWithMonograms.

Thanks for the tip...just ordered a glitter Minnie Mouse head for DD...now we will be able to tell them apart. Did they take very long to get to you? Hope I'm not cutting it too close.

What? What did you see/hear that made you think that? I haven't seen it elsewhere but I haven't checked in the past 30 minutes or so.

it's based on sally's dress from nightmare before christmas. they had another earlier line of sally purses but they were very bright (like the bow). the "midnight sally" colors are so beautiful and muted, more like the movie. I am so in love with this purse! worth giving up getting a purse at WDW.

Kiddo and i were talking about it. I'm thinking we are going to skip it after CA Grill and do Epcot instead. my feeling is this - RoL, if it's any good, it will be around for a decade at least.

Illuminations, which is my favorite show, is aging. I'm not sure how much longer it has before they decide to replace it. Plus I really have no idea when the next time we'd be back at xmastime would be. I think I'd rather see that show more than once, with the special christmas ending... then when we next go back, disney studios will be completely reinvented, and so will animal kingdom... avatarland or whatever it is called will be fully fleshed out and we will truly have enough to do there to spend all day into the night.

I think right now I am leaning toward, even if RoL opens, keeping my plan to uber to CA Grill then monorail into Epcot (I love doing the entry loop around future world at least once), do spaceship earth (have FP+ for it), do soarin', then walk around the world showcase til we find a place to park for Illuminations... and maybe sample some seasonal snacks along the way.... then home to boardwalk.

Subject to change if RoL opens and I get swept up.

Ok need silly advice. Totally ordering glitter Minnie heads from GocrazyWithMonograms for me and DD. Thanks for the tip @JamieOak. My band is purple and DD's is pink. What would you order? I was thinking silver heads with lilac bow for her and pink bow for me so that we complement each other? I don't have a good eye for this thing. Or any other suggestions??? Thanks friends!

I went with black glitter Minnie with aqua bow on purple band...but purple and aqua are DDs thing

What's the most accurate wait time app? Hate to admit it, but we've never used one before. Downloaded MDE on my phone and I've been playing around with it a bit so I am familiar with it before our trip. Can't believe some of the wait times, even late at night! But....then I read that MDE isn't very accurate...so which apps do you use?

I haven't tested it in the World yet, but I downloaded the Lines app from TP and bought the subscription. I've heard it's pretty accurate.

I'm intending to use the Lines App from Touringplans.com. You do need a subscription, but many people say their "expected" wait times are far more accurate than Disney's posted wait times. I had it last time but didn't really use it to the extent I could have so I'm looking forward to giving it a better go this time.

Now.... just 3 more days of booking fastpasses... (staying offsite) and then I can move on with so many other details before we leave!
Have been wrapping Xmas presents all day, and many Xmas gift errands to do tomorrow. I think I will finally relax and be in Disney Mode, when I get on that plane. AAAAHHHHH!!

On another note - TP Res finder really came through for me this evening!!! I had a LTT ressie on my MVMCP night, but with all the bad reviews I was constantly having second thoughts. Now I am the proud owner of a BOG dinner ressie

Had to drop the LTT for 2 at 6pm on the 6th if anyone is interested!

Thanks, everyone. My purse addiction is pretty bad. not as bad as the people who have a whole king sized bed covered with them but with my latest "must have" i feel like I should unload some too I love this particular style for every day use and all the crap I carry but it is way too heavy to carry around Disney. I hope i get my tink clutch back from the person who is modifying it with a cross body strap and bow before my trip.
