***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

@areno79 @Iowamomof4 @kaci I love hearing all the great things that work for you for hitting our #OL10LB goals! It's always so interesting to hear all the different methods and strategies that work for different people!

For me, logging and tracking is what works. I use MyFitnessPal to track everything I eat. It's like doing WW except it's counting the actual cals not points. I like playing with numbers so I make a game each day of seeing what I can fit into my daily calorie goal. And it's easy to use since it's an app, so it has a barcode scanner, and remembers all my usual entries. What really helps me too, is that it gives me a deficit before adding in my exercise. So if I exercise, when I log those calories burned I get to eat them back, since I already have the deficit before working out! Motivation to go harder and longer in my workouts to get a few extra treats in! :rotfl: Can you tell I like to eat?

Yes! Love MFP. Turning weight loss into a basic math problem (CICO) has been a game changer for me - when I can make myself actually do it. Thanks for the motivation and getting me back on track again, DisneyBelle!

Booya! That's awesome! 90 min Zumba class, that's sweet! I only have 60 min classes at my gym. I'm excited to get to my Saturday morning Zumba class though, since it's my favorite, and I've had to miss it the past couple weeks  And after work today will be a run. Right now though, I'm trying to determine which part of my body is most sore from lifting last night! Currently, it's a close race between my quads and my hamstrings. Those darn squats! :rotfl:

Yesss, loving the #OL10LB tags, lol. Awesome goal! You got this! I had been .6 lbs into a new decade, lol, but the last few weeks I allowed myself to take a little break and do some stress/coping eating :rotfl: so I am currently up a little bit again, and 1 lb over that decade now. I'm hoping by the trip I can get at least halfway into the next decade.

Oh yeah, I should have mentioned, another big motivator for me is maintaining my sanity and mental health! Lol

You seriously DO NOT look your age! And don't worry about the whites, I started getting them in my mid-20s! Runs in my family, lol. I am currently well on my way to developing a couple of white streaks :scared1: That reminds me though, I haven't colored my hair in ages, and I really wanted to do something fun and funky and try an oil slick look. Think I'll try to make an appointment before the trip!

You did good with the acronym! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
I'm also in the premature grey camp. Thank goodness for dye. Love the idea of oil slick hair...so pretty!

@justcin711 I think you're totally fine with wearing white shorts! I think that whole 'no white after Labor Day' has been passé for a while now, lol.

Awww, I'm just happy I was able to give some extra motivation! :goodvibes

And if anyone else on here is on MFP and wants to be 'friends' over there my username is KatieJane83 (not very original, I know, lol)

Yeah, I've just embraced it, lol. I'm hoping I get to rock one of those awesome premature white streaks, like Rogue from X-Men or Stacy from What Not To Wear :rotfl2: And I am sooo excited about the oil slick hair! Other than trying to do some of my own highlights when I was in college, I've never had a real funky hair dye job. Always wanted to but I went into education, and it didn't seem like the appropriate work environment for crazy hair! And so I had just kind of forgotten about it, even after I switched fields a few years ago. But now I'm so excited for it! :hyper:

Oh, I agree! But I'm always cautious about giving fashion advice as I've always had a, um, *unique* shall we say, fashion sense, lol.

I had an oops and tagged you instead of the person I meant to and then fixed it. Sorry

Congrats on getting those FP today @BDFmom!! :thumbsup2 And I hope you got what you were wishing for @Maryemcd!! :-)

Those ears are beyond adorable @Mal6586!! DS14 will never in a million years wear anything like that, but I just might order some for DD and me. ::yes::

I have dining plan question #493. :faint: For those of you on the dining plan who also have several meals you are paying for OOP...

How are you going about determining which ones you will actually pay OOP? Some are obvious, like character meals. ;) I know there are calculators available that will determine this for you based on averages. Are you calling that close enough? Or are you taking the time to take your best guess at what your party will actually order and basing it on more specific/personalized calculations? Or is there some other awesome way you are going about figuring it out?

:flower1: THANKS for any input!! :flower1:

I have 10 credits planned (for an 8 night stay). My last meal is CRT breakfast. When I used one of the calculators it recommended paying OOP for Tusker House Breakfast and Sanaa but it is so close I'm going to pay CRT OOP (I *might* use 2 child credits for CRT and pay OOP for Teppan Edo and Sanna, but we'll see if it's a hassle to split the bill that way). Since CRT is the very last meal of our trip, if something happens and we didn't make it to one of our other planned TS meals, I can use those credits then. Last time we went we ended up having a terrible experience at one of our TS meals and didn't end up having to use our credits on that meal, so I'd like to NOT leave two TS meals on the table this time!

Is anyone else as obsessed with watching Disney vloggers on YouTube as I am? I am on there almost as much as I am on here!

Some of my favorite are:
TheTimTracker
DisneyatHeart
GillianatHome
KrispySmore

and many more!

What are some of your favorite Disney vloggers?

I just picked up a BOG dinner for 11/30 and a BOG PPO breakfast for 12/4 both within 30 minutes. The dinner on 11/30 is not ideal as it's during Wishes and I was planning to watch. I was hoping for a BOG dinner on 12/3, but we might just watch Wishes that night instead. At least my foot is in the door now!

Only TheTimTracker. He's the only one that doesn't irritate me!

I looooove GillianatHome. Seems such a genuine girl, I want to be her friend!

Check out Ears2You. Another genuine, down to earth couple. Very funny!

@PlutosUnDr8d Cruella, but that's a great look! :rotfl: And @LBlovesM&WDW you are absolutely right, def a good pick me up! So I did it, just made my appointment! It worked out great because the girl who does the more complex color stuff didn't have availability that matched my availability until 12/1. My trip starts on 12/6 so I'll be all nice and fresh for Disney! :cool1:

Just got another Etsy shipment today   It's really for anytime during the holidays, but this trip was my excuse for buying it, lol. It's a little necklace pendant made on the back of a Scrabble tile! And I was able to request the letter K for my name! In addition to being a big Disney nerd and Christmas nerd I am also a word nerd and huge bookworm so I loved that it was on a Scrabble tile. :goodvibes

I think Ears2You are my current fave, love them. I also like Underground Teapot, Adventures of Peas and Carrots, Oh Yeah Disney, Justin Scarred/Live Fast Die Poor, Kyle and Court, Jones Family Travels, Once Upon a Disney and the kids enjoy Mr Cheezy Pop and Rob Plays that Game. I think I may have a problem.

Hey all! I've been lurking in your thread for awhile now because y'all always have the best information - not to mention a great, supportive atmosphere :) I thought I'd introduce myself and jump in since I don't have anyone IRL to share my excitement with... MIL, FIL, DH, DD6, DS9 and I are heading down from 11/28-12/12 and staying at AOA in a Cars Suite. DH, the kids and I have been to DLR several times, but this is the first time to WDW for all of us (well, sort of, FIL recently let it drop that when he was in HS marching band they performed in the opening day parade at MK!)
:welcome:

I'm so glad you decided to join us! you are right about the atmosphere and I'm so glad you felt comfortable enough to hop right in. Please, share your excitement... always room for more! Thos AOA suites are adorable! I think you are going to be surprised by how HUGE WDW is compared to DLR. Even the MK is bigger than DL and the castle is going to look HUGE! Can't wait to hear your impressions after the trip!
