***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

:mic::mic: Paging all Disney planners! :mic::mic: Any available Disney planners, we've got another burned-out/confused planner up front!

I don't have FP in here because it'll just take longer and I don't think that matters for this. There are also nights we may be hopping, for example to catch IllumiNations, and that's not on here either because it's so flexible. What I'm trying to accomplish is going to JBJB on 12/3 (have tickets) with the least amount of disruption as possible. Teppan Edo needs to be a dinner and considered an event in and of itself. :) Everything here is a priority, but for the most part can happen at any point during our trip. (Cirque du Soleil cannot be changed). We do have park hoppers and I'm willing to switch park days or chase down ADRs. Isn't it so funny how I made a big huge deal about being DONE with ADR stalking?! :rotfl2:

Sunday 12/11: Departure Day
I don't want to talk about it.

I am completely open to any input and/or opinions. I won't be offended! Thanks SO VERY MUCH!! Looking forward to your advice!! :flower3:

PS: Really hate to post and run but I have a 12:00 meeting then DD has an appointment at 2:00.

I am going to challenge you a bit on Teppan Edo and suggest that since you have such an early PPO breakfast that you shift your ADR to "linner". The menus are identical between lunch and dinner and tons of us are doing early (3pm) dinners on JBJB night. It is my "dinner" meal for sure (doing Y&Y at AK) and then with heavy snacks/desserts at JBJB I will be done eating for the night. in fact I have taken the liberty of grabbing that 3pm ADR for you at Teppan Edo (for 3, right?) so you can take your time deciding, lol. Not that I am forward or anything! I think this is the easiest and least disruption to your plans (as in almost none). Except for having a wonderful action packed day with so many amazing things that is. your food spacing is fine, I am assuming 8-8:30am breakfast then 3pm dinner. just think of it like Sunday dinner... we do that all the time. It can still be the main event... then when it is over hit up the friendship boats and go over to disney studios. Easy peasy and minimal fuss. Open your mind to the concept of Linner on that night.

then if you want to add another Illuminations back in, you can pop back over to Epcot after JBJB. It's over at 7, you would even have time to pick up where you left off at the world showcase and do some of that stuff, get a great spot for Illuminations, end your night the same time you planned to before.

You don't happen to have a dinner on 12/4 for 2 do you?

Yes, 2 of them actually! :D

I listed the 4:05pm and I also have a 9:10pm that likely is not a keeper. The 9:10pm would be the last meal of our trip, and I think I'd like to leave that open for eating at Epcot and seeing Illuminations again if we want.

So far my keeper is 11/27 @ 3:30pm. I didn't want a meal on our "resort crawl", but so far it's the best fit because we were going to go to the Poly anyway, and it doesn't take away from park time.

Yup they opened a 3rd theatre which has reduced wait times. We are hitting joy and sadness first and then going to soarin hoping for 30 min or less wait.
Haha! That's my plan as well... well, FEA (after PPO) then joy/sadness then Soarin.

I like this idea. Better snack later after jbjb than have an actual meal... :D

I miss all the elementary years so much!! Particularly on days like today; there are no Halloween parades in middle and high school!

Teachers really set the stage for a child's attitude toward learning, I think. We were beyond blessed with the elementary school as a whole and the individual teachers my kids had. Both were heavily influenced by their teachers and I'll be forever grateful.

We're in the midst of having my DD's senior pictures done. DD commented how she wanted to send a photo to all her teachers at Tobey (the name of the elementary school). That snowballed into what will be a mini photo shoot at Tobey. She'll be on the playground, with the school in the background, wearing her graduation cap and holding a chalkboard sign with the school motto "Once a Tobey Tiger, Always a Tobey Tiger." Oh man....I'm getting all teary eyed just typing this! haha! I'm so emotional about this graduation stuff!

Teachers make a difference!! Thanks to all of you!! :flower3:

Aww... that's sweet! Great Halloween logos and jokes.
Our trick or treating was on Friday. My sister, BIL, and nephew came over and we had about 35 kids. Halloween's over for me
;-)

OMG you guys...I had a very vivid Disney nightmare last night!!
I dreamt it was our EMM day, and it started off with us being late and getting there right after they let the EMM partygoers and the PPO ADR people in...but it was a madhouse!! We were trying to hurry up and get to Fantasyland, but there were so many people we had to wade through them. Then we got to 7DMT and there was a posted 75 minute wait! We decided to head to Peter Pan, but that had a long wait too. I couldn't find Winnie the Pooh, and then when I did they closed it down! We went back to 7DMT and stood in line, and the ride turned out to be boats and it was all people in wheelchairs in front of us that had to transfer. Then we couldn't find our way around because there was so much construction, so we couldn't get to Pinocchio's for breakfast.
After that I woke up, thank God! It was nerve wracking and I kept thinking I spent all that money for nothing.

OH NO!

We moved a lot until I was 12 so I don't even remember my first 5 (or 6 schools) (father in the army and then moved for him to get another graduate degree and then finally settled where he became a college professor). The two youngest in my family were in the same town for all of school but only my brother went to one school from kindergarten through graduation.

Happy Halloween 1st week of December friends! I have some news to share. Guess who FINALLY has a Disney trip paid off? Yes, ME!!! So I will be seeing you all in December.

:mickeyjum:goofy::tigger::sulley::donald:

I sent my TA a last chance to pay by today note or I'm calling Disney email this morning and she paid off my balance and my friend's balance.

She also had the nerve to invoice me for her concierge fee today (she hadn't charged my credit card yet). At first I had just resigned myself to paying and being done with it, but the more I think about it the more it boils my blood to give her that extra money when she had given me so much aggravation. I'm having some internet issues at work (no internet or email in our office) so I'm thinking once I'm home later and can change passwords on my MDE and my friend's MDE accounts (she has access to both) I will send her an "I'm divorcing you as a travel concierge" note and contesting charges on my Amex if she tries to bill me. Not sure what I should do yet.

Given the importance of your Teppan Edo, I would agree with @Candycane83 . Keep the 8:00 and hop back to Epcot after JBJB. Unless you(we) can find a 4pm Teppan Edo on 12/3. That would still be dinner, and leave you 1 hour and 45 min. to eat and hop to HS for JBJB Dessert party.

I'll take first try at this.

I would say:

OPTION 1: Just do 8pm Teppan Edo and Illuminations. Hop to DHS at 4pm, return back to EPCOT after JBJB. I think this would be the least disruptive option.

OPTION 2: Move Teppan Edo to 12/2 and move Coral Reef to 12/4 for an early lunch 11:30? hop to AK after lunch. **by the way, I'm on the ROL or bust bandwagon too on 12/4! LOL! I have 4:30, 5:45 and 6:15 Y&Y plus a 5pm Tiffins :rolleyes1 Add AK on 12/5 for a few hours.

That's all I've got right now. I'm sure others will pitch in soon enough ;)
I feel better after reading your AK ADRs.:)

I'm waiting (hoping) for ROL too and booked multiple ADRs to make planning adjustments easier. Currently have 11:30, 1:50 TH, 4:30, 6:00 Y&Y, and I may or may not have a phantom MDE account with a 1:30, 5:00 Tiffins.

@Talby, I just looked and there is a 2:50pm Teppan Edo available on 12/3

4pm is too close. you will not be able to enjoy dinner without worrying about being late to your next thing. I'm not sure why "Dinner" is important except that it needs to be an event and the main meal of the day, in which case who cares what Disney calls it? same menu, same prices, eat your main meal when convenient. Like I said... think thanksgiving dinner, sunday dinner... lots of special occasions call for a 3pm dinner. And I think PAR-TAY with us and the dancing banana man :banana::banana:qualifies as a holiday!
