***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I just found this thread. I'll be at ASMo from December 2-6. I am going solo (my second solo trip).
Dec 2: Arrive at 9:30 am from Manchester NH. (I am renting a car) Planning on late lunch/early dinner 4 pm ADR at Chef de France and probably an early night.
Dec. 3: Lunch (1:15 ADR) at BOG so thinking hanging there for the morning and a short time after lunch.
Dec. 4: Lunch (1:55 ADR) at Mama Melrose then MVMCP at MK that night
Dec. 5: Breakfast ( 9:45 ADR) at Tusker House (first time at this restaurant)
Dec 6: Last day but not flying out until evening.
I can't wait. When I travel by myself I love that I am on my schedule and don't have to worry about anyone else. I'm pretty outgoing so I'm not lonely because I will talk to folks in lines, at restaurants where ever. 178 days to go!!:flower:

Welcome to the thread!

We have a wonderful group here!

Your plans sound great! :)

Lol true but about $50 of that would go to the cab driver! So just $50 for milk cheese and fruit :P
If you're staying somewhere with a DVC component, there should be some type of store there for food (from what I've read) and Cherrios, whole milk and cheese sticks aren't items that I see them not carrying. I feel like you'll be fine :)

I got all of my ADRs this morning including Ohana on arrival day and BOG dinner and the next! What will I obsess over now?

So when I called to cancel the "same day" reservation I accidentally made yesterday, the person on the phone was so nice about it and laughed along with me at my excitement over being just 180 days out from vacation :)

No we're just staying at the normal resorts but I think as long as they sell them somewhere I would be ok :)

Our plans for Dec4,5,6 and 10 are pretty similar! Lol! I think we all will be seeing each other at MK on Dec4!

I am so in love with your itinerary!!!

Speaking of groceries, I'm debating whether or not we do Garden Grocer. It's really pricey for delivery. But my daughter loves fresh fruits and vegetables, and we want bottled water, gatorade, and possibly bagels for a couple of breakfasts we don't have booked (I'm planning to eat fruit and bread while we wait for RD at some parks). Does anyone have experience with this or will I be able to get this at BC Marketplace?

Welcome to the new pple on the board!

We usually stop at Target on our way to our resort and stock up on fruit, milk, cheese, bagels, etc and that has worked out fine and has been MUCH cheaper. However on our last trip we were only there four days and our flight got in late so I did garden grocer. It was really nice to not have to make the stop and just have the supplies in our room. I would NOT hesitate to do it again.

I'm pretty sure you can buy it at the store. I think they sold bread there as well, I know you can buy single bagels, not sure about a bag.

Have you checked Amazon grocery? It's $5.99 delivery fee for a prime pantry box.

I've never used it, but have only heard good things about garden grocer from everyone.

Amazon doesn't deliver fruit and veg. And we won't have a car (using magical express ). My concern is that they will deliver to bc and put it in the convention center and because we arrive at night we won't be able to get it until later

LOVE this! I'm thinking I want to ditch my kids and schedule a couple "liquid" meals myself!
I think if we can get the hubbies to do something with the kids, my sisters and I might be able to slip over to Tutto Gusto one night. Here's hoping anyway!

Oh ok, I've never paid attention to their choices, just get bombarded with the emails.

If they sell all of those items in the store, bagels are the only one I'm unsure of, it will probably be more cost effective to purchase there instead of delivery then. Like I said, I've heard great thinks about garden grocer, but I'm not familiar with their pricing at all. Hopefully someone here will have more knowledge!
