Gah. I'm still in shock about the SW fireworks being cancelled (DH an I are huge SW fans). I am unsure about the new party. We have never seen Fantasmic so maybe we should stick with that. Having said that, is it fairly easy to get a SDFP for Fantasmic? I don't really want to eat at Mama Melrose...3 TS in one day is overkill.

yes super easy. that one seems to never sell out. I think because it is an older show but also because capacity for F! is HUGE, probably the biggest of any disney show, so there are tons of FP+ for it.

@Lisa F is right again of course! I wouldn't do an F! Package unless I was already planning to eat in the restaurant. Same goes for the Tony's package at MK.

LOL and I have a Tony's pkg too. I'm going to drop both. I'm planning to watch FoF from frontierland - we have Pirates League at 1:25pm and it should take an hour, is that enough time to get a spot for the parade?

we'll be doing a roll call as soon as the dust settles a bit.

I love that many of you are going to the 12/3 party! I totally wish we could of made it work. I think the kids would have fun together.

I'm just so giddy about this trip! I just cannot wait to tour Disney, Christmas style! From the MVMCP, to the JBJB, and everything else, I just cannot wait!!! 46 days and counting.

I think tonight I'm going to stay up late, watch Love Actually, and make DD the countdown chain, since tomorrow is our 45 day (!) mark!

My sister and I take an annual sister trip and this year we will be at POP from 11/28 - 12/5. It is her first Disney Trip so I have been planning everything. For a while it looked like we were going to have to cancel, BUT everything worked out and we are definitely going. I did kind of miss out on some pre-trip excitement and avoided all things Disney for a while...

Advice needed: Disney updated their hours on the main site, but not yet on the travel agent calendar. MK has longer hours during our trip which is awesome BUT a 8AM opening kinda ruins my plans for a BOG PPO breakfast. Keep the breakfast even though it's not PPO anymore???

What day were you looking at?

12/3 When I originally planned MK had a 9am opening, now it's 8am. I was able to book an 8:05am BOG breakfast, but not sure if I want to keep it now.

She says she's still working on it. Phone lines have been bad and cm's not much better. I ended up booking an EMM while I was waiting this afternoon (12/6). I'm still hoping something will open up for 11/29, but at least we have one booked.

First of all, welcome to the thread!

Second of all, thank you for the hours changed notice. They so subtly did it too. I'm going on Monday 12/5 and the hours were 9-10 originally and now they are 9-11! I didn't notice any other MK changes that week through Friday 12/9, yet!

I have an 8am ppo BOG 12/5 and was worried they would adjust hours to open at 8, but for the moment they adjusted hours at the end of the day. If they had adjusted hours earlier I probably would drop my BOG because we would lose the advantage of the low crowds. However, we are eating dinner there another night so we would still get to experience even the castle.

My advice in your situation would be to keep it for now (who knows if they adjust it back!) and maybe look for a late morning 10am breakfast so you can have a break after two hours of touring or look for lunch or a dinner.

Someone posted that this is the friendliest thread on the DisBoards, and I must agree!
My son (age 10) and I will also be at the party on 12/3.
If you haven't seen WDW in December with all the holiday decorations, be aware that you ARE going to want to see it all again. And again. This is my favorite time of year at WDW!!!
