***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Akershus. I think @rasadkowski has the same PPO. :) I decided to stick with lunch on another day for Garden Grill. Going to see if we can ride FEA with no wait. If not, I would go straight to Joy and Sadness. :)
That's right!!yes, same issue :) I hope to do fea and the meet and greet and straight to joy/sadness too. :) oh and baymax....

I'm planning to uber it too, but same as you, id like to know where exactly it can drop us off... I wonder, if you can get to the international gateway entrance

@Maryemcd, yes our party day is Dec 6th also. Despite all the reading and attempting to plan i am doing there will be things were going to miss out on for sure. The way I look at it is, hey it's an excuse to go back again.

Yes we're doing HS. At work right now. So not much time to post. But was planning on posting itinerary tonight.

ETA: @SilSprBea,
I found HS to be the toughest of all to plan for a few reasons.
1. We're not really a Star Wars family (I know blasphemy to some people) although we are looked no forward to Star Tours.
2. FP+ tiered 1 and 2 rides make things even trickier.
3. Overall there's just not a lot to choose from IMHO compared to other parks.

So here's our plans for our HS day:
(DS is 2 so no FP+ needed for him)

-8:10 PPO breakfast H&V
-8:45 head to TSMM hopefully before role drop crowd. (if park hours change my whole plan is FUBAR!!)
~8:45-11:00: TSMM, GMR, One man's dream, Muppet vision 3-D
11:00 FP+ DW, DD Frozen sing along
11:00 FP+ me, DS2 TSMM again

12:00 lunch 50's Prime Time Cafe

12:50-1:50 FP+ me, DD Star Tours get rider swap for DW, DD
1:55-2:55 FP+ DW ToT. (Im the only one that wants to ride so I will use her MB to enter FP line)
2:55-3:55 FP+ RRC DW, DD get rider swap for me, DD

4:10 dinner Hollywood Brown Derby w/ Fantasmic

Planning on SDFP for some other stuff not listed here.

We still have 1 remaking FP for me, not sure where to use it though.

Love your plan @Party.Of.4-NY>>>FL ! That looks like it was pretty complicated to plan out! Our kids aren't Star Wars fans yet because they are too young to see the movies. I LOVE Star Wars so I'll take my DD on Star Tours, but that's about it. I opted for Fantasmic instead of Star Wars fireworks on this trip. Maybe next trip when they are older and like Star Wars more we'll have a different plan. I may end up adding a FP+ for the Little Mermaid show for all of us and splitting up the other two ones (Star Tours & ToT) that only my DD can ride into groups of two. My husband wants to ride the RRC so maybe I can book him on that and only do me and the kids Toy Story. Not sure yet. It's tough because we won't rope drop to ride TSMM when it isn't crowded. Maybe there'll be a same day FP+ for it later so we can ride it twice!

@Mintycake The ADR spreadsheet had you looking for an 'Ohana breakfast on 12/8 at 10am. I saw one during my searching for 11:15 and grabbed it. I know it's later than you indicated, but let me know if you want it and we can transfer it to you. Otherwise, I can drop it back!
I'm good I got a 1030! Will be on board more when I have more time. Work is nuts right now. I need to survive until next Wednesday morning!

FoF is a must do for me. I have watched it every single time I've been in MK since it arrived. It's not really hard to get a decent viewing spot though unless you're just adamant about main street or the hub. We usually watch it in Liberty Square right outside the Christmas shop, and we've never needed to stake out more than 30 minutes ahead of time.
Hmm. Maybe I should cancel tonys FoF pkg. I was hoping it would be good as the menu loozed yummy

Hmm, I'm not sure if the international gateway is open to cars? Maybe someone else can clarify on that. It would be great if uber can drop off there but i suspect the closest you can get to intl gateway through uber is BC.

Either of the Epcot resorts or even HS and taking the boat over. :)

Thanks! I thought that was the case but I don't remember too well from 4 years ago, LOL! I'm pting to uber to the front gates instead and hope to reach there before 7:45am.

Ugh, we've all got colds in this house! :crazy2: It started of course with DD1 and now it's spread to the baby and I! So far, DH has managed to avoid it so far. But man, we feel terrible. We've spent the day so far just resting and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!:rolleyes1

Hope this passes soon! We have a busy weekend, and we'd hate to miss out on it.

I'm sure it is possible. Just not too sure where you are let off at Epcot. It says 9 mins in google maps via car so I'm guessing around 10-15mins. :) I plan to do this on my PPO day on Dec 7, uber from CR to Epcot.

I took a Town Car from hotel to Epcot in January. Driver let me out in a side parking lot but it was a short walk past bus area. Not sure if Uber can get there. He was able to wave through parking booths, I think because he was a registered "taxi"

I think so. But now I'm worried that tonys is gross food :sad1:
I read a lot of bad reviews on it but that does not really mean it is bad food. My take on it though is if I'm not on the ddp, I would try the place without the package unless the price makes sense (I.e. look at menu prices and see if the total price of what you will order is more or less the same as the price of the package).

I'm so sad... EMM for 11/29 is sold out! It's the only one that has sold out... like EVER (unless maybe the first one did with all the bloggers and whatnot). It's the only sold out one so far for our trip. Ugh... Now we have to decide what to do. We were planning to do MVMCP on 11/27, EMM on 11/29, and then another MVMCP on 12/1. I held off on buying the party tickets in case we decide to hit the party on 11/29 since we can't do EMM that morning. I can't believe this!

Drat! But check a few more times and try to call. I know when I tried to book wishes dessert party I had to try a few times.

I haven't bought MVMCP tix yet so I guess I has better do that soon. And need them to book FP+

Hi everyone! :wave2:

I'm buried under college/FAFSA stuff at the moment, but just wanted to poke in with an FYI that IllumiNations Sparkling Dessert Party is now bookable in December. :cake:

Anyone going to book? I was reading about it the other day, but:
  1. I'm not sure if we would be hungry for the desserts since we will be snacking and drink all day in WS
  2. I heard there a lot of good spots to view Illuminations. (We've never seen it)
Thoughts?
