***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I just made a reservation at Whispering Canyon at 7:35 pm on the Tuesday we're doing EMM. So it's going to be a long day, but I'm hoping we'll have time to catch the Frozen Holiday Wish at 6:15 (assuming the time is the same as last year) before we scoot out to catch the boat over to Wilderness Lodge. Think we'll have enough time? It's supposedly a 7-minute show, so we should be working our way out of MK (along with a ton of other people, I'm sure) by 6:25 or so. That gives us about an hour for the boat ride.

Hello! Crazy weekend, found out my 88 year old grandma fell and is now in the hospital and will be discharged to a nursing home. She also has alzheimers that is unfortunately making her deteriorate quicker than we had anticipated. So, in light of that, the girls and I will be traveling to Arizona, in two weeks to visit her and say our first/last goodbyes (she's never met DD2). It's been super difficult and even harder on my mom. This upcoming trip is needed even more now.

I saw that Disney made some park hours changes so I need to read up on that. Can't believe its Monday, tomorrow! Ugh, back to the grind.

Im really sorry to hear this Alzheimer's is a very sad disease I wish your family the best getting through it all, and I hope your trip is chock full of wonderful new memories for your family

I just want to give a shout out to thank @SilSprBea for helping me get my last ADR!! She saw something on a FB group she belongs to, and let me know about it. The lady dropping it and I just made a successful transfer so I got my 12/6 H&V F! dinner
It's a little earlier than I would like at 3:40 (would prefer closer to 5), but I'm SO glad I have this now! I'll keep looking randomly for something to pop up for the time I'm looking for, but if not this is still such a weight off my shoulders! I am so thankful for this thread!

Alright, I tweaked my TP plan for MK a bit, and here's what it came up with (I had to put a PPO BOG in instead of EMM because EMM is not an option. So I'll already have done 7DMT, WTP, and PP.)
-I'm planning to FP+ Haunted Mansion from 10-11, BTMRR from 11-12, and POTC from 1:30-2:30. I'm going to try to SDFP Aladdin from 1:30-2:30, Jungle Cruise from 2:30-3:30, and Buzz from 3:30-4:30.
Hopefully this format makes sense; I couldn't figure out how to post the schedule as it appears on the screen.

just woke up and sooooo tired but I would FP+ jungle cruise from 2:30-3:30 and SDFP 1-2 magic carpets and 2-3 pirates. That keeps your plan intact but jungle cruise is a much harder to get SDFP than pirates or magic carpets. you just have to shift your plan by a few minutes.

if I got that wrong I am sorry. I need a big floppy hat for disney, i'm so tired and very sunburned.

Random question that i think I remember reading about before.... Does the snow only fall on Main Street during the mvmcp? And is it only during the parade?

THANK YOU! That is exactly the info I was looking for!! I figured BTMRR, Splash, and Space were big FP+ draws, but I really wasn't sure about the Adventureland rides. I think your suggestion would be perfect, except I'd probably try to SDFP Magic Carpets from 1:15-2:15, and POTC 2:15-3:15 (if that's an option) so I don't miss my FP time since TP has me hitting Magic Carpets a few mins after 2:00.

The time that we've been to MVMCP, yes, it only snows on Main Street. And it wasn't snowing only during the parade. Not certain of that has changed or not. It 's been a couple of years since we've been to the party.

If I knew what was happening with SW I'd be tempted to take that Sci-Fi off your hands, but who knows when we'll get info.

@Iowamomof4 it should be more than enough time. I missed the original post and can't find it so just tagging you on the reply, lol. I always give myself 40 minutes for magic kingdom boat transport, 20 minutes if you just missed the last one and 20 minutes to get there. that seems to cover most possibilities. an hour should be plenty

IMO these are the best SDFPs to make (have been watching a while) in the MK with ** for the ones that have longest wait times (this does not include character m&g, have not been following those at all):

second best (usually have availability in the morning for later in the afternoon pr evening)

well mk just opened and everything is running 5-10 right now but in my experience in watching wait times jungle cruise is more often 40-45 and pirates is more often 15-25 for wait time standby.

these are trends I have noticed and not guarantees on any given day of course. but between the two I would FP+ jungle cruise and standby pirates.

whta the hell is etwb? lol oh enchanted tales with belle. princess = not on my list lol. that is another one that i see with tough SDFP availability and long waits... i def concur with using a FP+ on that.
