***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

I especially liked her idea of eating at about 9:45 and grabbing a couple pastries to go. I think I'm looking forward to this event way more than MVMCP simply because it's easier for me to imagine the flow and what it will be like. Crowds are so NOT my thing, I'm looking forward to being in Fantasyland and being able to put my arms straight out and not be able touch anyone! I sure hope we can make it work. We have 2 days it works with our schedule (3, if we push it a bit) and I have a feeling it'll be hard to resist doing it a 2nd time, though the price will help curb that desire I'm sure.

That's the review I read yesterday that really changed my mind about it also. I'm with you on disliking crowds. Before I was not considering it mainly because I didn't want to schedule early mornings. But with my recent potential changes, I feel we can spread things out more and have an early night in preparation for an early morning. I am considering doing it once for each park. Are you considering HS or just MK?

to totally change the subject, which would you guys recommend CRT dinner or breakfast? ( to be completely honest, I don't even remember if I asked this already?!? Probably not, it's just one of the things that's always passing through my mind and I keep forgetting to research it) the breakfast menu does seem a bit weird to me though...

I'm not surprised. When I typed that I was just thinking out loud without any research. I just looked too through Disney and indeed villas are unavailable the night of 12/4, but I see they do have standard view BW rooms available. Originally, I had my heart set on staying at the Wilderness Lodge but I changed after hearing of the major construction and realizing the benefits of staying at an Epcot area hotel. The Wilderness Lodge has a courtyard room available for 12/4. That could be an option! So we'd definitely have to move for that last night, but do we just say our Disney goodbyes and taxi on over to an airport Marriott and stay free on points, or do we move rooms at the BWI, or do we hop over to WL which is a little cheaper than the BWI but still expensive. Decisions, decisions!

I just wanted to let you know that the WL would be a great place to stay if you plan to do the Christmas Party on your last night. The boat to MK from WL is great and during this construction period, it is never crowded. While all the other park guests are lining up for monorails and resort buses, the WL boat is waiting to take you home. It is very relaxing. :)

The resort is only half full and nothing is crowded over there. And construction is only during the day and most guests never hear it. :)

But I do think you would be able to get a last minute cancellation at the BWI so that you can stay there. :)

it's been a while since i've been there but while both are overpriced (paying for experience) and breakfast costs less, I still feel like breakfast is more overpriced than dinner. For dinner I can see having tenderloin and shrimp and feeling like i had a decent meal for my $$ plus no dessert at breakfast.

Just MK. The DHS one doesn't sound good to us. Most of my group can only do 1 ride on ST before needing a break and TSMM isn't that special to us either.

I hope you do not feel like you are being pressured. planning can be stressful to get it "just right." no peer pressure here, we all have different tastes!
..if you think this is feeling the pressure, imagine how I feel now that I have just GOT to beat that EMM record I just read about in that awesome EMM review link. 21 times on 7dmt in the hour? I've just got to get 22!!:thumbsup2:banana::banana::crazy2:

Ah now I remember that there's only 2 rides for HS EMM, and some character meets. I have to watch a video of ST, I'm not really sure what it is. I saw a TSMM video and I don't think that'll be special to us either.

I really hope they keep doing EMM next year. It just wont fit into our schedule this time (our only full day at MK is a Saturday, and we're not getting park hoppers), plus roomie isn't a breakfast eater, so I don't have a lot of perks to pitch to her about it, BUT if my May trip happens, there will be 6 of us, 5 of which I KNOW are breakfast people, so we could probably do it then!

I've been to both and would choose breakfast over dinner. I honestly didn't think the food was that good at dinner, but we've always enjoyed breakfast. You aren't paying for the food, I know, but I like good food.

That review really makes me want to consider doing EMM. Problem is that when I asked DH about it before, he thought it wasn't worth the money because we typically don't eat big breakfasts when we're at Disney. But man, it is tempting to get all of that out of the way so early, especially meeting the Princesses!

The only chance I have of meeting princesses is at Akershus PPO... Otherwise, I don't think DH would like us to see any princesses. *eye roll*

I'm a little behind on my intro. I did a quick one a couple weeks ago?

We are going Dec 4-10. Staying at Poly 4-9 then switching over to POR princess room for the 9th, going home on the 10th.
Who's going- me(Angela), DH, DD-8, DD-4
The plans so far...
Saturday we will stay in Jacksonville.

Sunday-Magic Kingdom. We all want to get the customized MB so we'll do that first and DD8 wants to ride Space Mountain for the first time. We'll check in to Poly and hang out there the rest of evening and hopefully watch firework from the beach.

Monday- RD Epcot for TT. Lunch at San Angel inn. Shopping and exploring Main Street.

Tuesday- Animal Kingdom just for a few hours. Rest and MVMCP.

Wednesday- Taking it easy this morning.Kona cafe for breakfast. Epcot afternoon. Dinner at Via Napoli.

Thursday- PPO breakfast at CRT. MK until afternoon and then rest and back for MVMCP.

Friday- check out of Poly at 11 and head to HS.Check in at POR.

Saturday- Explore hotel or Disney Springs. Then leave...

We'll happily ride both, just don't need multiple rides on each. ;)

there will be a custom tshirt for the star wars party too. maybe not matching like the xmas party (there is only so much cutesie I can do lol) but isn't this adorable? what do you think? for the kiddo maybe though he has tons of star wars tshirts, I'd just need one for me. One tie dye is plenty for me lol.

@Lisa F - this is awesome!! I may have to get one for my nephew.

Hey guys.. I wanted to see if any of you had heard of this before..., I read in some board that this guest was nervous to book the mvmcp on his account and magic band for fear that Disney's system would accidentally count his entering the MK at 4 as him using one of him "park day tickets" rather than just him entering with the party ticket. The last thing I'd need is for us to go to our last park the next day and being turned away if something like that ever happened. Have you ever heard of this?.., seems a bit rudiculous? But I guess I could see how it may happen?

I think as long as you make sure to go through the correct entrance for the party and don't try to get in early (like before 4pm), it shouldn't be a problem. We had no issue just using bands with all our tickets in 2014 for MNSSHP, and we had the party ticket and 4 day park hoppers on the bands.
