***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

@Lisa F and any other single parents, major kudos to you all! DH left about an hour ago for a business trip and won't be home till late Saturday evening, and I'm already wanting him home! DD2 is having some major sleep regression and I'm just :headache:

On the trip front, we found a sweet family to give our Graco Click Connect too! They're having twins in November so it'll be perfect for them. We found this one here: http://www.buybuybaby.com/store/pro...r-in-black/1045896903?Keyword=double+stroller

Great product and reasonably priced.:yay:

Anyone here, second guessing their itinerary? I'm anxious that it's too much. Maybe it's just because DD2 isn't sleeping well right now?

Back to the drawing board I guess.

if you uber it won't matter. is that what you are planning?
From swan I wouldn't need to uber though, I would just take the boat or walk since it's so close to DHS... For AK, we could take the bus over since we're not too much in a hurry for RD during AM EMH...? Does that make sense?

I'm on the same boat, second guessing everything!! I'm sorry about your DD2, hopefully it won't last long and she would start sleeping well again.

I'm not joking or being funny when I say that when I get sleep deprived I get literally psycho. Life was very hard there for a while for various reasons and I wasn't sleeping and my crazy pretty much exploded on a daily basis. I have read things that say that women need more sleep than men do too (because of how much busier their minds are... no joke they need more time to regenerate). my advice is don't make any changes while you are sleep deprived.

kids will kill you. that's all. we all have our battles, if it's not one thing it's another. I try not to act like my issues are any worse than any others because I am truly blessed in many aspects of how my child is (or maybe I'm all starry eyed because I have him back lol). I'm glad we can share here. the only thing constant about life is that it changes... everything comes to an end, good or bad. I saw something on my facebook feed a few weeks ago that said "this too will pass... maybe slowly and painfully like a kidney stone but it will pass." :rotfl:so true!

@Candycane83 I could be totally wrong (probably am), but I really thought that S & D didn't have the same perks as the Disney resorts (EMH?).
Yes they do! Plus the 60 days FP booking as well. The only difference is not getting MBs and the charging benefits (can't charge to MBs) but that's not a big deal. The only thing downside I see is that I wanted to experience staying at AKL since it looks so pretty (lobby especially) during Christmas and the resort is so unique to Disney! Otherwise, swan wins hands down due to location ;)

I understand the psycho part about it! DD2 screamed the entire car ride to and from the airport today, and there wasn't much I could do for her. She's definitely overtired and so are the rest of us! The only thing I can think of is that she's about to hit some milestones (army crawling and pulling up).

No rest for the weary. Trying to plan some FP's though. At least it puts a smile on my face.

last night and this morning before i took a nap i tried to relax by catching up and i could not absorb any of it. now THAT is tired!

Your DH and my DH are the same! No coasters! Well he would do Disney coasters but not universal ones. I'm on my own there! :rotfl2: I think that we would probably do rider swap at universal but only 3 at Disney- 7dmt, Soarin and tt... :)

Edit: I agree I shouldn't be second guessing after being decided for so long especially on a triple split stay! Lol! But it's so hard..
I don't blame him. I like the MK coasters but rnr no. everest is off the list too i think, we went on it and it was a bit too intense.

Good to know! AKL is just a spectacular resort with animals to boot (your lil might love that) and is even more beautiful all decorated. You have to do what you think is best though.

that is a bad feeling. I've been there myself for sure.

Lol, I've loved roller coasters since I could ride them. My poor father had to ride a huge coaster with me when I was 8? He didn't like it but I insisted. Haha! Loved a few coasters at universal but I had to ride alone. :( that'll probably happen again if I want to ride again this time!

Edit: want to ride Everest at night too if I could this trip!!

@Lisa F thanks for the snack link. I'm drooling already!

Hope everyone had a nice Labor Day weekend! Not much excitement around here except today DH and I went mattress shopping. We finally picked one out, and all I could think was the money leaving my Disney fund! LOL Adulting is no fun, but I guess getting a good night's sleep is worth it. :)

Oh, I did manage to snag a 7:10 am breakfast ADR for Chef Mickey's...was doing my normal checking and saw it and thought someone here was looking for one so I grabbed it. It's for 4 people and is on 12/8. I looked on the Google doc but didn't see it, but could have sworn someone here was looking for it. Let me know!

I noticed they had the pumpkin spice waffles back at christmas but decorated for christmas. I didn't realize that before. I may be vindicated!:woohoo:

I know.. The biggest draw I think is extra half an hour sleep to get to AM EMH at DHS. Haha! thanks for the advice! I have to decide soon since the promo on swan and dolphin hotels is only until the 13th

We are determined to find a time to fit Boma breakfast into our plans but it's funny how I keep moving it around! Right now, I think our best day to do it is the day we're doing MVMCP - Thursday, Dec. 1. But I think I've had that breakfast on nearly every day of our 10-day trip just trying to find the right time to go. It's such a tough restaurant to get to.

That's like me and the wave! :rolleyes1

It's funny because I'll do the coasters at Disney, but won't do the ones at Universal! I only finally did ToT on my last trip, and no way DH is going near that! I love RnRC though :) I've also never ridden the coasters at night, so it's on the list for this trip!!

I won't do the Universal coasters either. I MIGHT do the Harry Potter Dueling Dragons, but that would be the only one. My thing is, I don't like forcing my neck muscles to keep my head back against the seat rest. If they just had a forehead restraint to keep my head immobilized, I'd be willing to ride a lot more coasters.

I hear great stuff about Everest at night ;) otherwise I think splash and 7dmt at MK gets some good comments too. I never tried any of those (I wouldn't try splash only because I don't want to be wet at night in December :P)
